Our 1920’s solid concrete house was definitely showing its age when we hired Arbiter Coatings to renovate it. Even though the winter weather was against them and caused delays, Bill and Darren were able to transform the exterior. They removed the old loose paint, filled cracks, applied primer and finally the white Andura coating, leaving the house looking good as new. Bill and Darren are lovely guys to have working at your home. We found them to be hard working, efficient, tidy and polite.

Bill sprayed the 1st/2nd floor of our house and performed some stabilisation work prior. Previously the wall was cold and had algae/mould growth. I gave a few months before reviewing to ensure things stayed looking good but honestly still looks perfect. We/the neighbours are very pleased. Thank you!

The work required to be done on my property was render repair then waterproof wall coating on both the front & rear elevations. Getting quotations was not going well until Arbiter Coatings came to quote. The company is a family run business & Bill was extremity professional, knowledgeable & helpful. Finally a company that provided solutions rather than just finding problems. Their quote was clear, detailed & the price for the job was very competitive. The work was carried out to a very high standard & I am very pleased with the result. We were extremely pleased with the job but did not leave a review as we would just be repeating all the good things said on other reviews. 10 months later the rooms that were suffering from damp because of damage to the outside render are now dry. We have had a couple of the rooms redecorated and they now look all fresh. Great job and great result.

I made three separate arrangements with this company to come and view the job. Each time I stayed in ready for them to come, but they did not come. No phone call to let me know. There were fuel problems on one visit - a phone call to let me know they couldn’t come would have been sufficient. Very disappointing.

Arbiter completed extensive repairs to 100 year old pebble dash render and coated the entire house in Andura Classic 21 textured coating. The work was completed as agreed in 7 days over several weeks, allowing for drying of repairs and unseasonable wet weather in May. The quotation was by far the most reasonable we received. Even though the repair work required was more extensive than anticipated no further charge was ever suggested. Our experience of the service from Arbiter was outstanding from the outset to the conclusion of work. Arbiter coatings have transformed the look of our house for the better. Before they worked their magic, our house was covered in 60-year-old Tyrolean rendering that was cracked and patchy. Now, the walls are crack-free, smooth, and contemporary-looking. Their price for the work was the most competitive of the three companies that quoted and the standard of work was first class. Bill and his colleagues were skilled, punctual, polite, tidy, and hard working. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased with all work completed on my property by Arbiter Coating the quotation was very competitive price and arrived on time Although this work is weather dependent, Bill kept me informed at all times The repair work needed was completed by Steve in one day followed by five days drying time due to the rain. The completion of the coating was carried out in one day with no mess. Well done.

We can thoroughly recommend Arbiter Coatings. They are very competitive on price and a friendly and helpful business. Bill Newbegin went out of his way to tender and explain the job and the process. We accepted his price but then "lock down" intervened which prevented the start of work. Bill maintained contact with us through out the lock down and as soon as he was able to return to work and travel to Norwich the job was started. Arbiter did an excellent job. The work was done quickly and efficiently, very tidy, protecting driveway and finishes and cleaning up carefully after the works. Their standard of finishing has been very high. Our house looks splendid, old cracked wall render and joins have disappeared and the Andura coating is very attractive.

From the quote to the finished job we were very impressed with this company. Bill talked us through what was needed and the process involved. We were updated on what would happen each day. One of the best things about Bill and Arbiter Coatings is that they actually came when they said they would and if they didn’t or couldn’t come, they stayed in contact with us to let us know how/why/when. Add to that the brilliant job they did on the front of our much loved old house and you have the perfect combination and team.
