Archers Heating & Plumbing Limited

We contacted Archers to remove a radiator and pipework prior to a damp proof course being installed. Due to the layout of the existing pipework there were a few problems encountered, but none that couldn't be dealt with sensibly and without having to do excessive work. They then installed a new radiator, as well as doing other plumbing work on the shower and fixing a leak in the washing machine. The communication was excellent, and Matt was very efficient, tidy and pleasant. The work was all carried out to a very high standard. We will certainly use them for all future work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Phoned Keith on Friday as my boiler wasn't igniting. He gave me a very reasonable quote, for a Worcester Bosch boiler and told me Mathew would be able to install it on Monday. Mathew arrived on time, explained the workings of the boiler and his schedule of fitting. Nothing was too much trouble who went that extra mile. Ongoing communication with both Keith and Mathew was excellent and efficient. The bill was as quoted even though extra work had been done. Would highly recommend Archers Heating and Plumbing.

The boiler & heating tank, water tanks & corresponding pipework was replaced. A radiator was also exchanged. The quote given was very fair, & any extras were clearly explained before the work commenced. The company is extremely professional, friendly, clean & tidy. Very professional and helpful. Our boiler had a Carbon Monoxide leak on a Friday, and was turned off. Archers were the only company who seemed very willing to help and fitted us in around their schedule to be sure we weren’t without a boiler for a long period of time. Matthew came out on the Friday on his day off to assess the situation which we were extremely grateful for.

Having needed to replace my 23 year old boiler i found Archers on this site and the Worcester Bosch site (my preferred boiler) and along with 2 others obtained quotes. Kevin came and did a thorough survey and on inspection we agreed that the radiators were replaced. The quote was emailed the next day and was very competitive and I accepted. Convenient dates were agreed. The work commenced on time and Matt who carried out the work was very professional and helpful in fitting in around my commitments. After having six other plumbers come out to quote us for new radiators and then disappear off of the face of the earth, we were getting desperate! I called Archers and they were fantastic. They gave us a quote very quickly for the work and then committed to doing the job! Having just moved into the area and found the boiler not up to expectations, call Archers (Keith) as they were local to us. Keith arranged an engineer (Matthew) to give us look straight away, produced a quote which we agreed and the work commenced within 5 days not including the weekend. I have been very pleased with the work and services performed by Archers Heating over the last two years. On the occasion that my elderly mother had a boiler failure in the middle of winter, Mr Archer went out of his way to expedite a new boiler installation within a few days. The job was expertly done and all the technical requirements for a legal installation were observed. The installers kept the job tidy and cleaned up afterwards. The boiler is a Worcester Greenstar and it has worked well without any problem. It was correctly specified for the size of house and I think the whole job was good value. When my mother needed an explanation of the controls, Mr Archer sent someone to give advice and check everything was working well. I must say that Mr Archer has been very helpful and quick to respond to all enquiries and service requirements. My mother recently asked about a new bathroom for her house and Mr Archer visited the house and spent time going over all the options to try to find an arrangement suitable for someone with limited mobility. My mother didn’t proceed, because she moved out of her house to a bungalow. I recommend Archers Heating without reservation.

Archers fitted an outside tap, new kitchen tap and fixed the toilet valve. Matt did a great job and would highly recommend Archers to anyone.

Kevin is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodation. He did all could he could to fit us in with short notice and carried out an excellent and very reasonably priced job. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kevin to friends and family.

Really pleased with the work completed by Kevin and his team. When my 89 year old father was due to leave hospital the boiler decided to pack up! And the weather decided to snow! Archers came to the rescue and fitted a new boiler and ensured the system was all working well before they left. Archers were so helpful and kept in contact so I knew what was happening. Having checked with Which? for best buy boilers and trusted traders, I was delighted to find that Archers Heating and Plumbing were local and highly recommended and were also recommended as an installer by my boiler choice manufacturer Worcester Bosch. Having set a date for a survey, Matt arrived on time explained his thoughts on the job discussed the siting of the boiler, flue and condensate drain. Next I was emailed a quotation which was very competitive and I agreed for them to start work the following Monday. The work took 12 hours spread over 3 days and when completed I was taken through the stages for setting up the controls etc. I was very satisfied with the work and with the boiler. I would recommend Archers to any of my friends who needed any heating or plumbing work doing

I had to have pipework re routed and new radiators fitted in an extension along with some other issues I had with my central heating, these guys explained everything reassured me of some issues I had and left the house tidy .my system works well now and I am very pleased.
