Altogether we used this company three times now. The most recent was a small guttering job. Dave dropped off a written quote the morning after he came to quote. He listened when I disagreed with his view on the cause of the problem. He phoned when he said he would and the crew were onsite when expected. I consider that the work was fairly priced. I will certainly use this company again for any future roof/gutter problems and I am very happy to recommend.

I contacted Dave and his team at Architectural Roofing to request an inspection of the tile roof at our property and then a quote for any necessary repairs. I also contacted two other well-respected roofing companies in the area. Dave stood head and shoulders above the other firms. He conducted the inspection in a more timely manner and provided a more thorough and well-documented assessment that made the scope of work very clear. Once I engaged Dave for the repairs, scheduling was easy, and communications throughout were excellent. I received an update each day and photos at the end of the project that clearly showed the work that had been completed. While I am not an expert, I believe the work was completed to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave and his team to anyone.

With photos, Dave highlighted areas of our roof that needed attention and put together a professional quote at a reasonable price. Once scaffolding was in place, James and Kevin were able to see more clearly what work was needed, and involved us where alternatives were being considered, including , at no extra charge, some items not identified in the original quote. Chimney pots and a number of tiles were replaced. The cement work needed was as good as I have ever seen. An additional layer of felt was added to the flat roof. Dave checked that we were happy with the progress. They were mindful of neighbours, clearing up thoroughly each day. Photos were provided to show the completed work: James and Kevin were with us for a week – a job well done.

Dave and his team were really great - so professional and communicative. I was a bit worried about booking the work in case it didn't look as I imagined, but I'm so happy with the results! Dave did a really good job of explaining everything. I think it's fantastic that rode his bike over for the quote too.

Dave and his team did a very professional job installing a new slate roof. They communicated with us on their progress on a daily basis providing us with photographs. They are a very honest friendly team and were very happy to answer any questions we had throughout the installation. Dave and his team replaced our original slate roof, repaired our chimneys and re-leaded a gully shared with our neighbour. Dave was responsive and professional throughout, communicating clearly, talking us through the pros and cons of various options, answering questions that arose and then providing detailed quotations. Kevin, James and the team were unfailingly punctual, polite and efficient, as were the scaffolders. Very grateful for such high quality work delivered in such a friendly manner. The project was completed on schedule and we are very happy with the outcome. Happy to recommend this firm...and already have.

We had an issue with gutter repair and replacement. Dave was very responsive, quoted quickly, and resolved the issue quickly. I would recommend Dave and use his services again for future work.

Many thanks to Dave and the team for removing our old slate roof and replacing with a new one. From the moment I contacted Dave he was quick, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. He offered various options on how best to replace the roof and offered his experience on working in the local area for many years in identifying what would be best in keeping the roof design compatible with how it would be originally. The team turned up on time, every day, worked hard and kept the area clean and tidy. Each day they gave a progress update and the work was completed on time and looks amazingly good. Repaired and renewed flat roof that was leaking. Checked all roofing around it and sorted that out. Everything from the time of contact to the finishing was excellent. Dave was very easy to contact. Discovered a water stain in my newly renovated bathroom ceiling ! I contacted Dave, he arrived promptly and carried a comprehensive acessment (indoors and outdoors) and explained works needing to be carried out. Within 2 days I received a detailed quote allowing me the option of having works done on one chimney and the other at a later date. Communication throughout whilst the works were being carried out was good, The works was completed within 3 days with no inconvenience to myself or disruption to my property. Tradesperson was hardworking, cheerful and polite and he took away any debris resulting from the job. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them to others without any hesitation.

We’ve used Dave and his team before. Even though they were busy they were still able to reply quickly and come out to give a quote. We had a leak which was due to a problem with old flashing that needed replacing. They gave a detailed, broken down quote so that we had the option to choose to do only the side with the leak or to replace all of the flashing on all the sides depending on our budget which was useful. This was a bigger job than last time but they completed it in 3 days and cleared up after. Would be happy to use them again and to recommend them to others.

I had a number of missing and broken roof tiles that needed replacing. The two tradesmen were courteous and professional. They completed the job as quoted in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job was finished

Following a damp patch appearing and growing in our front bedroom we contacted Dave as I had dug out a receipt for works completed by him 28 years ago before we moved in, and found that his company is still going strong. He came round straight away, immediately knew what the issue was and quoted us a fixed price via email the same day, for the replacement of two valleys. The works were completed really quickly over a day and a half and all rubbish removed without a reminder. The men turned up on the dot as agreed, were polite and friendly, took their shoes off without being asked when they had to come inside, and explained everything they found and rectified as they went along. So big thankyou to Kevin and James on site and Dave coordinating everything to a tee. Also a big shout out to the scaffolders - I worked for 15 years as a project manager overseeing building works and I have never come across such a polite, cheerful and professional team. All in all, the whole experience has been great, we can't recommend highly enough.

A fantastic job done by Dave his team. We needed some substantial repairs to roofs and Chimney. When I contacted Dave to arrange a visit he came round without delay, took photos and we had a typed quote detailing everything that needed to be done plus a separate quote for a job that may need doing which would be confirmed once the scaffolding was up.(these were hand delivered within 24 hours). Such a lovely run business, honest and friendly. It went like clockwork from the day the Scaffolding went up. The lads were lovely, very punctual, very thorough and work carried out to a very very high standard. We were advised at the end of each day what had been done and what would be done the next day AND they swept up and left the Front garden tidy before they went home every day. Such hard workers. We do not have any more sleepless nights as we know that our roof is 100% and it looks fantastic. Photos were sent once the job had been completed. Will definitely recommend. Everyone was so kind and courteous to my mum while they were at the house, and we were sent detailed photos of the completed works. We employed Architectural Roofing to carry out some repairs to our roof, after noticing a leak following a heavy rain storm. Dave came around to inspect the roof on a Saturday morning. He and his team provided clear and detailed photos of the issues with the roof and a clear plan for how they were going to fix it. They carried out the work quickly and efficiently, with absolutely zero messing around. Hugely recommended as a contractor. I hope we won't have to use them again (hopefully our roof is good for a while now!), but if we ever need work on our roof, Dave will be the first person I call.

I have used this firm in my local area before, to retile a small roof at the back of my property. I was impressed with the quality of the end product, from the tiling to the flashing to the cementing in. This latest job on the main roof was the same. Dave's was the first company to answer my call and he came round, took photos of the work needed and provided an email quote by the next day. A week later the roofer was here, the same chap who did the above work (sorry I didn't catch his name). He was polite and professional. He completed the work in about 40 minutes, and that included some extra cementing and another slipped tile (which my neighbour informed me had fallen into her garden weeks before when she realised I had a roofer coming). I am very pleased with the finished job and will use this firm again 100%.

On our Victorian terraced house, Architectural Roofing changed the roof slates, guttering, fascia boards, added coping stones to the parapet wall and cowlings to the chimney. I requested the full works to make my property weather tight after years of leaks from different points in the roof. There was no hard sell. Dave provided a seamless and efficient service and point of contact between him and his team, including the scaffolders. His team, including the scaffolders, were professional, polite, trustworthy, on time and a pleasure to work with. Importantly, they seem to take pride in doing a good job which is very reassuring. Dave kept to the agreed schedule and quotation. I would happily recommend and use them again for another job.

I employed Architectural Roofing to replace the mineral felt lining of the gulley of my roof and repair some of the lead flashing. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard ahead of the time scheduled. Dave was quick to respond to any queries that I had, and returned any calls I made very promptly. The staff who carried out the work were friendly, courteous and helpful. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this firm.

Architectural Roofing first re-slated our house in the 1990s when they did an excellent job and I have used them since for roof repairs caused by storm damage. Dave Norman is always helpful, prompt and knows the trade inside out. Two chaps came last week to repair the cement bedding on the back addition which had come dislodged after recent rain and wind. They cheerfully and quickly did the repair and cleaned up everything afterward. I can't recommend the company highly enough!

Good communications, polite tradesmen, and works were carried out neatly and to budget with care and consideration of the property at all times.
