I had a number of missing and broken roof tiles that needed replacing. The two tradesmen were courteous and professional. They completed the job as quoted in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job was finished

Following a damp patch appearing and growing in our front bedroom we contacted Dave as I had dug out a receipt for works completed by him 28 years ago before we moved in, and found that his company is still going strong. He came round straight away, immediately knew what the issue was and quoted us a fixed price via email the same day, for the replacement of two valleys. The works were completed really quickly over a day and a half and all rubbish removed without a reminder. The men turned up on the dot as agreed, were polite and friendly, took their shoes off without being asked when they had to come inside, and explained everything they found and rectified as they went along. So big thankyou to Kevin and James on site and Dave coordinating everything to a tee. Also a big shout out to the scaffolders - I worked for 15 years as a project manager overseeing building works and I have never come across such a polite, cheerful and professional team. All in all, the whole experience has been great, we can't recommend highly enough.

A fantastic job done by Dave his team. We needed some substantial repairs to roofs and Chimney. When I contacted Dave to arrange a visit he came round without delay, took photos and we had a typed quote detailing everything that needed to be done plus a separate quote for a job that may need doing which would be confirmed once the scaffolding was up.(these were hand delivered within 24 hours). Such a lovely run business, honest and friendly. It went like clockwork from the day the Scaffolding went up. The lads were lovely, very punctual, very thorough and work carried out to a very very high standard. We were advised at the end of each day what had been done and what would be done the next day AND they swept up and left the Front garden tidy before they went home every day. Such hard workers. We do not have any more sleepless nights as we know that our roof is 100% and it looks fantastic. Photos were sent once the job had been completed. Will definitely recommend. Everyone was so kind and courteous to my mum while they were at the house, and we were sent detailed photos of the completed works. We employed Architectural Roofing to carry out some repairs to our roof, after noticing a leak following a heavy rain storm. Dave came around to inspect the roof on a Saturday morning. He and his team provided clear and detailed photos of the issues with the roof and a clear plan for how they were going to fix it. They carried out the work quickly and efficiently, with absolutely zero messing around. Hugely recommended as a contractor. I hope we won't have to use them again (hopefully our roof is good for a while now!), but if we ever need work on our roof, Dave will be the first person I call.

I have used this firm in my local area before, to retile a small roof at the back of my property. I was impressed with the quality of the end product, from the tiling to the flashing to the cementing in. This latest job on the main roof was the same. Dave's was the first company to answer my call and he came round, took photos of the work needed and provided an email quote by the next day. A week later the roofer was here, the same chap who did the above work (sorry I didn't catch his name). He was polite and professional. He completed the work in about 40 minutes, and that included some extra cementing and another slipped tile (which my neighbour informed me had fallen into her garden weeks before when she realised I had a roofer coming). I am very pleased with the finished job and will use this firm again 100%.

On our Victorian terraced house, Architectural Roofing changed the roof slates, guttering, fascia boards, added coping stones to the parapet wall and cowlings to the chimney. I requested the full works to make my property weather tight after years of leaks from different points in the roof. There was no hard sell. Dave provided a seamless and efficient service and point of contact between him and his team, including the scaffolders. His team, including the scaffolders, were professional, polite, trustworthy, on time and a pleasure to work with. Importantly, they seem to take pride in doing a good job which is very reassuring. Dave kept to the agreed schedule and quotation. I would happily recommend and use them again for another job.

I employed Architectural Roofing to replace the mineral felt lining of the gulley of my roof and repair some of the lead flashing. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard ahead of the time scheduled. Dave was quick to respond to any queries that I had, and returned any calls I made very promptly. The staff who carried out the work were friendly, courteous and helpful. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this firm.

Architectural Roofing first re-slated our house in the 1990s when they did an excellent job and I have used them since for roof repairs caused by storm damage. Dave Norman is always helpful, prompt and knows the trade inside out. Two chaps came last week to repair the cement bedding on the back addition which had come dislodged after recent rain and wind. They cheerfully and quickly did the repair and cleaned up everything afterward. I can't recommend the company highly enough!

My house was retiled back in 1984 by a company which is not now in existence. So over time I have needed repairs. This is where Architectural Roofing came in. I was very impressed the first time they came to renew a valley. This time it was to replace defective cement fillets to stop the rain coming in, so far I have used them three times. The work is always of a high standard and they are always neat and tidy. If you want to have a new roof or repairs done I would highly recommend Architectural Roofing.

I don't usually give reviews but Architectural Roofing deserve a recommendation as they were efficient, helpful, professional, friendly and hard working. Their initial quote was prompt, and after discussion, they adjusted it to fit my requirements. As well as repairs to chimneys and the surrounding walls, I decided to have new roof coverings, with absolutely no pressure to do so. They also brought forward the start date to fit in with my timescales. I did get other quotes, but they were the most responsive and explained things clearly. The price was fair and competitive, without skimping on quality.

After many years having it patched up by Architectural Roofing, I decided to give my 1904 house the facelift it deserved and get a new roof. Although the quotation was more expensive than I'd hoped to pay, I reminded myself of all the extras I'd requested: upgrading the tiles to natural slate; repointing some well-worn brickwork; increasing the loft insulation to meet 2022 standards; and replacing both the original snow guard at the back and the porch roof at the front. Dave's comprehensive quote itemised the cost of each, and he patiently answered my many queries. Although he was booked up for months ahead, he was flexible and accommodating when it came to finalising the start date (because I needed to delay it by two or three weeks). He was also impressively quick off the mark at the end of the work to correct errors in the council's completion certificate. Dave's team were cheerful and diligent and did a thoroughly professional job. My new roof looks beautiful and I would not hesitate to recommend Architectural Roofing.

I asked for their opinion of what needed doing after experiencing some minor leaks. They advised replacing the concrete valleys with zink, replacing the flashing and replacing the dorma flat roof. They have been extremely efficient. The work started exactly as they said it would and during the process I was kept well informed about what had been achieved andwhat would happen next. My queries via email were also answered immediately. The team were friendly and helpful. They also worked over the weekend to make use of good weather and get the work completed quickly. The price came in exactly as quoted with no hidden extras. I am very impressed with their work ethic and professionalism. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I would definately use them again.

We have used Dave and his company a couple of times, everyone is very easy to deal with and will share exactly what they are doing, they turn up when they say they will and will also bring forward work if their diary allows. I have every confidence in the work undertaken and will wait to use them rather that hunt for an alternative.

Work undertaken was to strip off existing coverings to the main roof, two storey rear extension and small flat roof of rear extension and replace with new. Included all gutters, facias, skip and scaffolding hire and liaising with local council. A substantial amount of work! Dave and his team are very friendly and professional and workmanship is excellent. Would highly recommend them.

From the start this was excellent. A very thorough assessment of what needed to be done clearly telling me the problems and explaining them to me in a way I could understand. Very efficient and very easy to contact. Good price. Very easy to sort out when work could be done. All communications were quick and very satisfactory. The work they did over several days is great. New flat roof. New ridge tiles, guttering and making roof safe, was done very well. Cleared up afterwards and all people very pleasant. They did some extra things as they noticed potential problems at no extra charge. I am very pleased with what has been done. Would highly recommend them.

This is a highly trustworthy and hardworking company who keep you informed every step of the way. The work replacing my roof was delayed by a week due to the predicted bad weather, but once started everything went smoothly. The 3 men doing the work were friendly, respectful and got the work done to a very high standard. The company also provided the insulation and placed it in my loft ready for my family to board the space to the new statutory regulations. I am extremely pleased with the finished result and love the velux window which brings in so much extra light. The scaffolding company were also very efficient in both putting it up and taking it down at the end of the work, both in the pouring rain which even though they were soaked, they kept going and completed it. I would definitely recommend this company to others and will use them again as and when I need to.

Having used Architectural Roofing before, we did not hesitate to call them out for replacement chimney work and making good work carried out. Gutter clearance was also added. The team were very considerate and respectful, having changed appointments to suit our concerns re COVID. The work was carried out smoothly and to budget. They cleared up well. Architectural Roofing replaced my roof. It was all done to the agreed schedule and budget. I was kept up-to-date every day as the work progressed. Any request I made during the work was acted on immediately and positively. They took care of everything including meeting the requirements of building regulations. The site was kept tidy. My neighbours remarked on what nice guys they were which was also reassuring. The company’s scaffolding contractor (Chingford Scaffolding Services - CSS) was also very professional, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend Architectural Roofing without any hesitation.

I have just had my whole original Victorian roof replaced, along with new guttering and fitting of a skylight. This was a big deal for me but I knew that I didn't need to worry about using Architectural Roofing to complete it as I have used them in the past for smaller jobs. Dave and his team, as before, were fabulous, so professional, reliable and considerate throughout which in my previous dealings I had come to expect and they certainly did not disappoint on this much larger job. They simply went the extra mile at every turn. If anyone is thinking of roofing, I would recommend Architectural 100%. I think the best thing I can say is that I simply would not use anyone else.

The family-run company did an excellent job in replacing half of the roof of our Edwardian mid-terrace house in Highams Park, London. The work was started on the scheduled date and completed on time...with excellent communication before and during the work. I was totally satisfied with the work on two chimney stacks that had been leaking and caused damp patches in two rooms. The guys were very professional, courteous,amenable and very tidy. All rubbish was removed from the site. We received photographic evidence of the work completed within a couple of hours of the work being finished. I can thoroughly recommend using ARCHITECTURAL ROOFING (LONDON) LIMITED. I was kept in touch by text/e.mail with the progress of how the roof was progressing. The work was carried out to the schedule within budget and they also kindly didn't charge me the extra when it was discovered that the top section of the rear soil pipe was badly corroded to the point it had hole in it. It was quite dangerous so they had to remove the defective section and replace it with upvc at no extra cost. I did lots of research before I had my new roof getting various quotes etc but this lovely family fun local firm was my number one and I was not disappointed.

I want people I deal with to be honest, courteous, timely, professional and sensibly priced. This company has managed a perfect score on each. We wanted our roof checked for broken slates, gullies, gutters etc cleaned and any potential problems identified, costed and if immediately necessary dealt with. We were given written quotes for the work split into immediate and future, they called to arrange a date and time to complete the immediately needed work and on the day called to confirm their arrival time. When finished they even took away all the rubbish cleared from the roof. At my request they emailed an invoice so I could deal with the payment promptly.

Chimney stack cracked. The estimate was completed quickly and communication was efficient, A time was booked for the work to be carried out but was brought forward when another slot became available. The work was completed quickly, without being rushed and the people were polite and cheerful. The standard of the work was excellent. We have used this company before and so have other family members. Each time they have been excellent.

I had a couple of tiles fall off the roof in high winds. I contacted Architectural Roofing via their website, got an immediate return. I explained the situation. Given that it was a small job, they just came round and fixed it, sent me a bill for an hour's work. Honest, professional, fast.
