Artful Painters Ltd

This is the 4th time we’ve used Artful Painters and we unreservedly recommend them. This time they did a total refurb of our front room, hallway and stairs, cloakroom, utility cupboard and laid flooring throughout the whole of our downstairs. This included wiring, plumbing, cupboards to be built and painting throughout. Mark is excellent at communicating progress, sorting the various trades out and making sure everything is considered. All of his team are friendly, considerate and keep the site as clean as possible. We’re so pleased with the outcome in all the spaces they worked in, we had a very long list as we’ve been waiting to do this work for several years, but they tackled it all brilliantly. Mark’s pricing was clear and he was open and honest about when things might be more expensive for example because of the specific paints I had chosen. Although I hope we don’t ever have to have works done to the house again, we will 100% call Mark and team if we do need anything done.

Mark was recommended to us by family who have used him on several occasions. Mark and his colleagues completed a number of jobs - building a new front wall and paving front garden area, installing a new bathroom and boxing off pipes/ decorating portion of bedroom. All the builders were friendly and polite, and we are really pleased with the work which was completed to an high standard. Any issues and Mark was easy to reach on the phone and he kept us updated throughout, excellent communication . We will use them again and I would highly recommend!

Mark and his team recently completed a significant set of works for the communal areas of three blocks of flats. Their work was impeccable, and the blocks now look fantastic. The residents are all extremely pleased with the results.

Mark and his team did an amazing job. Very professional outfit who get the job done fast and to the highest quality.

Artful painters were fantastic . Mark and his team did a great job . I would highly recommend . They were lovely people to work with. Always turned up on time and very professional . We had a few unexpected issues which Mark dealt with taking the stress away from us . We knew we were in safe honest hands . We will definitely be getting Mark and his team back in the future. Their work is to a very high standard .

We chose to work with Mark on a full refurbishment of our house. He came highly recommended and we couldn't be happier. He is reassuringly thorough - from the big project elements to the smallest details - and easy to work with: prompt, responsive, knowledgeable, transparent and collaborative. The house has been transformed. While a surface-level touch up would have been easy, Mark made sure that the fabric of the house is as up to date as the new decoration but with our budget and future requirements in mind. We highly recommend Mark and would absolutely work with him again.

Preparing and decorating stairwell across three floors of Edwardian house, including shoring up stairs, significant repairs to plasterwork and ceiling, wallpapering and lots of gloss work: I chose Artful Painters because they presented as experienced and knowledgeable, gave a competitive quote and a long warranty. I'm glad I did, their work is superb. Extensive preparation and skilled finishing. No corners cut, more filling where necessary, more coats where needed, all the right products. I can see why they are Farrow and Ball approved. The end result is of a very high quality, on time and on budget. On top of that, very pleasant and straightforward to deal with. We'll be using them again.

Mark responded quickly and efficiently to my request to quote and quoted in good time. Quote not the cheapest but felt right. Mark and his team arrived at 7am, on the dot, as agreed, on each of the 7 days it took to paint the internals of my complete home. Together with Tom, and Pete, both of whom were very pleasant and hard working, produced a quality job with minimal disruption or dust, even going the extra mile to correct areas where the original decorators fell short. A pleasure to do business with and highly recommended.

I had Mark's team paint my entire flat and fix my en-suite bathroom flooring. Mark and his team were efficient and reliable. They checked with me at every stage to see if I was happy with the painting and the colours I chose. They were on time and ensured that the place was tidied up before leaving everyday. I am happy with the quality of work both with the painting and the flooring. Highly recommended.

We had some delay because of weather conditions last year but Mark stuck with his original estimate in spite of rising prices. I was very pleased with the standard of work and the thorough preparation . All the decorators working on the job were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to have around. I would certainly recommend Artful Painters and would be happy to use them for any further work.
