Wanted Worcester accredited boiler installer. Many years experience and good honest advice given at quotation stage. Excellent clean and tidy work on site by Steven. Cost and timing all as arranged. Replacement of 35 year old gas boiler, cylinder and pump which had its challenges. Discussed overcoming unexpected issues and service route details but kept to two day completion schedule with concentrated work and extended hours. All documentation and warranty efficiently produced. Would thoroughly recommend.

Replacement Boiler & water tank

Ashley Heating replaced our 15 year old boiler & tank with a new Worcester Bosch condensing system boiler & Gledhill unvented 150lt water cylinder. We decided to move the boiler into the loft and free up the cupboard space, so new gas & water pipes had to be run from the loft and join the existing pipe work in the cupboard. John & Steve came to survey & quote. Both were very professional and their quote was very reasonable compared to other companies. I was very very impressed with their workmanship from the installation of the new boiler & tank including all the pipes that were equally spaced and neatly run in the loft and down the wall. I cannot commend them more for their outstanding work, excellent & efficient service, ongoing communication throughout the installation & totally trustworthy. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Ashley Heating as you are guaranteed quality & perfection at a very reasonable cost. Thanks

My mother has micro bore pipes and at 92 she had been without heating for some time The gas board initially recommended a power flush (that is not always recommended with micro bore pipes) and then a re pipe at a cost approaching £6000 A neighbour recommended Ashley Heating and Plumbing They came out quickly and diagnosed air in the system It took several visits to balance it They identified the problem, their estimate was reasonable, they worked hard, treated my mother with respect and saved her a considerable amount of money In turn I would recommend them

Boiler replacement and remodelling botched pipe works

We contracted Ashley Heating Company to replace our broken boiler and remodel the botched and ugly exposed pipework left in our kitchen by previous gas company. Ashley Heating was very professional from initial assessment to job completion, the quote was a fair price for the amount of work needed. The products supplied was of reputable brand and good quality, during the installation I was kept informed at all times of any issues that may cause a delay. Steve Ashley did an amazing job, our kitchen looks great with all the ugly protruding pipework all gone. The boiler is very quiet and efficient, we have heating and hot water! He also replaced an old radiator at short notice in a bedroom, advised and moved it to a different location to improve the use of the room which we thought was very professional advice. The one attribute that stands out for us is Steve Ashley really cares about the customer’s needs and he makes sure the finish is aesthetically pleasing, he made good all the walls, ceilings and floor including building a lovely wooden door and frame to hide the chimney hatch so it looked cosmetically finished. All done within agreed budget, good timescales, left the place clean and tidy and he was very courteous and cheerful throughout. We would recommend him and the Ashley Heating company to all our friends and family without any hesitation.

We have been nursing our 22 year old boiler for a while based on advice that we would have to upgrade the gas pipe to a larger diameter. The boiler is the opposite side of the house so this was going to mean a long an ugly pipe along 2 sides of the house. John came to complete a (Covid safe) survey within a couple of hours of calling and gave us a competitive quote. He informed us that the boiler we required may be able to operate on the current pipe if the pressure drop was within the regulations. He provided a quote based on installation of the boiler and the option of new pipework if the pressure drop was more than allowed. John suggested a number of possible routes to make the pipe unobtrusive if it had to be installed. John did a great job of the installation, very tidy work and took extra time to chase new pipework for the condensate pipe into the wall. I really could not fault the workmanship. After testing the pressure drop was OK so no additional pipe required, while this saved a bit on cost it was more important to me to avoid the ugly pipe. The alternate quote we had was very inflexible, the pipe must be run, the condensate pipe would also be on the outside of the house to a soakaway etc. I know I can be a difficult and very fussy customer but I really can't recommend John and the Ashley Heating team highly enough. If I had known someone would do such a good job I would have got it done years ago!

Was introduced to Ashley Heating through the Worcester-Bosch boiler replacement programme. What a piece of luck! John, Steve and Matt were all friendly, courteous and professional with some banter and laughter for all the three and a half days they were with us. John arrived two days after I completed the Worcester Bosch online application, was very helpful explaining the options available to achieve what I wanted, and the work was started one week later. The quality of work is exceptional and they were always prepared to discuss options to solve the various problems we had, particularly with the low water pressure/flow issues we were having. The work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget and we have been invited to call them 24/7 should we have any problems. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting boiler, central heating and general plumbing work to be done.

Contracted Ashley Heating to perform 1st annual service on my gas boiler (installed by them last year which I was also happy with), and to recommission a gas fire I had not used for a number of years. Boiler and associated filter serviced to manufacturer's specs without fuss and paper records updated. Initial check on fire identified chimney blockage (bird's nest) so Steve explained he would not be able (legally and professionally) to recommission the fire and it would be a waste of my money paying for its service. He turned the gas off to the fire and attached a warning notice so it would be obvious not to use it at present. Once I've had the chimney swept I will be more than happy to ask Steve back to recommission my fire. Steve also pointed out and took time to explain I needed to unblock the air brick as the oxygen needs of the fire were greater than could be supplied by the air in the room without it. Confess I knew this as I had "draught proofed" room when I stopped using the fire a number of years ago, so I knew I would need to re-open the air brick as part of the recomissioning process, I just hadn't got round to doing this before Steve arrived. All things considered, Steve was very polite and professional when discussing what is essentially a non-compliance to regulations (knowingly) caused by me.
