Ashmark Roofing

Ashmark Roofing carried out a fairly small repair on the roof of the property. During periods of heavy and persistent rain, water was getting through the roof into the bathroom, resulting in two damp patches on the ceiling and the top of the wall. I contacted Ashmark Roofing via their website. Tony who dealt with the communication and administration informed me that he would get someone from the team (another Tony) to inspect the problem. He arrived punctually, was cheerful and knowledgeable, and made his recommendations. I then received a written estimate by email, with one arriving in the post a few days later. After a few more questions from my side, emailed to Ashmark Roofing and answered promptly by Tony, I engaged them to carry out the work. The lead-in time for the job was 2-3 weeks and it was carried out within this timeframe by the other Tony along with another member of the Ashmark Roofing team. They also did an extra job of filling in a couple of holes in the brickwork of the outside rear wall, at no extra charge. They cleared up any debris and removed it from the property. I am pleased to recommend Ashmark Roofing and would certainly use them again in the future if needed.

The work was carried out to the agreed schedule and budget. Scaffolding was erected on 28 March and the roof work was carried out on 29 March with the scaffolding being removed later that day. All operations were carried out efficiently with no come back required.

Contacted Ashmark as my soffits had become damaged, I found them to be easy to deal with from start to finish, confirmed wished to go ahead, with what I considered to be a fair price. All works completed to a high standard, really appreciated the attention to detail. Super job thank you Tony.

Contacted Ashmark roofing to get a quote for repair to roof. From start to finish, the contact with them was brilliant, they always responded to any messages I left. The quote they gave was affordable and reasonable. On the day turned up promptly, carried out work professionally and trustworthy. This is the second occasion that we have used Ashmark Roofing, they will also be doing another job for us early next year. From the initial visit and quote to the completion of the leaky roof problem we were kept advised by Tony every step of the way; never once did we have to chase him for an update which was extremely reassuring and inspired confidence. Paul and Brad, the roofers, were courteous, efficient and friendly, a pleasure to have around. We were delighted that they managed to resolve the leaky roof so promptly especially as it was just before Xmas. Ashmark are a thoroughly professional, trustworthy and competitively priced company and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

This is not the first time I’ve sought the help of Ashmark Roofing and I cannot recommend them more highly. During the downpours of Oct/Nov the flat roof at the back of my house started leaking and also the chimney needed some repairs. Within a week from receiving a quote (which offered a couple of options) the work had been done. (I had a quote from another reputable company which was a lot higher than I was expecting). Paul and Brad were extremely accommodating, found a way to do the job without the use of costly scaffolding and even helped me out with a couple of additional small jobs which they didn’t charge me for. With Paul’s good humour and with Tony in charge this is a great, honest, well run company. As a single female I am always wary of being ripped off or patronised but I can confidently say that this is not the case with Ashmark Roofing.

With a leaking gutter and several slipped roof slates had no hesitation in calling Ashmark Roofing who I have used before to get the repairs done. After an agreed quote Steve arrived on time and carried out the work needed very efficiently. Nice to find a reliable roof repair company.

We had damp in an upstairs bedroom from previously blocked and overflowing gutters. We also had a leaky lean-to roof. Tony came round and took a good look before arranging a very reasonable quote. Tony and Mick worked really hard for us on the day, sorting out the gutter, doing pointing on the chimney and sorting out the "fillet" between the extension and main building, as well as adding eaves carriers where needed and re-taping the lean-to roof. All these jobs took a little longer than expected, but they completed the work without complaint or extra charge and they only stopped once for a break and a cup of tea. It was a pleasure having them around - real old school gents and they take pride in their work, are experienced, and know what they are doing. The lean-to is nice and dry again and hopefully the wall upstairs will now dry out completely so we can re-decorate. Thank you too for brilliant communication and pleasant chats throughout. I will definitely call on Ashmark Roofing again when I need them. - Oh, and, by the way, they also predicted the weather better than the Met Office did! :-)

Ashmark Roofing replaced the surface to the flat roof of our garage. They were very thorough and worked very hard. They were very friendly and we were happy with the work done. Would definitely recommend them.

I used Ashmark Roofing to overhaul my roof. Tony who came to do the quotation and subsequently carried out the remedial works with his mate. Tony, is an experienced, professional and personable roofer and answered all my questions. I felt the scope of the works proposed was reasonably and honestly reflected what needed to be done. Finally, I had scaffolding up to repoint the chimney stack during storm Bert and I was pleased to see it still up when I woke up on the Sunday after the strong winds.

I called Ashmark to investigate the source of a leak, after a bad experience with another roofer. They were good to deal with, checked out the source of the leak and did the repair promptly and at a very reasonable cost. There was no effort to inflate the problem or escalate the costs and they were very responsive to questions. I would certainly recommend them.

This is about the fourth time we have used Ashmark to replace tiles which have been blown off our roof. Each time they send someone around to have a look, send a quote and do the work with no fuss. They always repair anything else nearby for no extra cost. Recommend them without reservation.

We had a small leak somewhere in the main parapet wall which was difficult to find the source. Steve from Ashmark did a great job in stripping back the wall to find all the possible sources of the leak and then replacing broken tiles and repairing the wall. His work was really neat and he was great at explaining what he had found. Excellent job!

They did 4 days of work repairing several parts of our old roof which were leaking. In the quotation process they identified an additional problem area which inevitably would leak at some time although it wasn't yet doing so. The man who did the work, Steve, was a craftsman who clearly enjoys doing the best job. I like to get involved and see what is going on as much as possible and he was very cooperative in that. He explained everything he was doing as he went along and took before and after photos - nearly 40 in total - for a final report. He also did one or two things which weren't in the quotation without charging for them. Furthermore he was very diplomatic when dealing with neighbours and helped maintain good relations with them. Additionally the owner was very straightforward in his dealings with me and patient while I finalised our requirements.

Tony and Steve were lovely and polite. They arranged for scaffolding and replaced a broken tile on the roof and repaired the guttering and fixings etc. Would definitely contact them next time I have a problem with my roof.

Great job on our bay tiling and guttering. Communication was clear throughout from Tony and the guys did a fantastic job. very professional and left thiongs nice and tidy afterwards. Will use them again for our next job.

We have used Ashmark Roofing before and were confident engaging them again, this time for our gutter repair and adjustment. Steve was prompt in attending to assess the requirements and Tony in sending the quote and arranging Steve’s visit to carry out the work. They are both pleasant to deal with and we are very happy with the results.

I contacted Tony of Ashmark Roofing and he organized a survey to understand the job. After the visit, he sent me a competitive and realistic quotation (I had 3 different quotation from traders). He gave me an idea of the time frame and called in advance, when he was ready to start the work. His employee came on the agreed day and proceed with the work. The work was finished as agreed, all areas were spotless (they cleaned and dispose of all rubbish). I recommend this company as their employees are polite and clean, but in particular the job is really well done. Thank you
