Mr Hewett returned my telephone message very quickly. His team came when expected and as far as I know, did a reasonably good job, but my problem with the roof is intermittent and it may be some considerable time before I know if Ashmark have solved it. They have indicated that they will come back if it is not solved.

Mr Hewett contact me quickly in response to my request for a diagnosis of my leaking roof. Roofers arrived following day and showed me photos of deteriorating area - gave me confidence in the firm. When they came to fix it they were efficient and considerate (shoes removed inside premises etc.) and they cleaned the guttering close to where they were working.

Ashmark recently recovered the roof of my rear bay window. I contacted Tony who arranged for an assessment , and provided an estimate of the work required by email. The roofing work was carried out to a high standard , and we are happy with the work carried out. We would not hesitate to recommend Ashmark for any similar work.

From first contact with Tony I was impressed by his down to earth and straight forward approach. The quote provided clearly demonstrated a full understanding of the work needed and the team completing the work were efficient, professional and friendly - even washed up their own coffee cups! The quality of the workmanship was 1st class - even the buildings regulations inspector commented on the high standards. The team used their initiative when needed and were always considerate and accommodating. The work was finished ahead of schedule and the site was left clean and tidy. I initially approached Ashmark because of the quantity and quality of reviews on the Which? site, having always relied upon personal recommendation/referral before. I am absolutely delighted with the work carried out and would recommend Ashmark Roofing in a heart beat. A huge 'thank you' to Tony and the team.

Steve and Jamie replaced a valley with lead on our pitched roof. They also replaced the felt roof on the front bay window. They were very thorough and polite: we asked them to look at one valley and they took photos. We could see that it was deteriorating. This was also replaced by them at a later date, after a written quote. They were very helpful. Tony, the owner, always returned calls and sent all due paperwork on time.

Asked Ashmark to look at what I thought was a cracked tile, but it turned out that the tile had just slipped. Fixed in next to no time and charged me an absolutely tiny amount. Honesty and integrity are obviously very important to these guys, and the world would be a much better place if all companies were so interested in building a reputation on these values. This was exactly the type of job that could be easily exploited by other less principled traders, but Ashmark really earned my recommendation.

Ashmark have done jobs on two different areas of my roof this year and on both occasions they were very good workmen to deal with. No problems whatsoever and very trustworthy. I had received other quotes that were not as competitive as Ashmark's and frankly I also did not feel that I could fully trust the workmen who came to view the job. Ashmark showed a genuine care for resolving the customer's problem as opposed to looking for the quick buck.

Ashmark did a very professional job in stripping out the old Roof membrane & re-laying a new roof. Some of the insulation & other existing material could be re used. They reduced the final bill significantly on their own because of this. Very professional & straight forward approach by them.
