Paul and Bradley were punctual for the duration of the whole job. They worked expertly and very hard. Paul came up with some good workaround solutions to several issues. The tidy up was very good. After arranging the erection of suitable scaffolding by a third party, Steve and Tony from the firm arrived at the promised time, replaced the gutter at the rear of my house and installed UPVC fascia and soffit boards in a professional and timely manner, and cleared up properly after completing the work in one morning. Both were pleasant and polite at all times. The firm has always done very satisfactory work for me over several years, and I don't hesitate to recommend them.

Replacement of defective apron flashings

Removal of defective apron flashings at the base of two dormers and replace with code 4 lead, cut and lapped to appropriate lengths and dressed over tiles of pitched roof. This first required careful removal of the bottom course of tiles for each dormer and subsequent replacement of said tiles. The work was carried out to an agreed schedule and at cost specified in the quotation. The trader worked from scaffolding at roof level for two days in direct hot sun. Communications with the trader by phone and email were satisfactory.

A gentleman popped over to quote and looked carefully at what needed to be done (more than just a cursory glance). The scaffolding was arranged quickly, then two days later the two gentlemen from Ashmark Roofing turned up on time, were friendly and polite, got on with the job, and explained what they were doing and why. When there was a small change to the plan this was discussed with me. No nasty extra costs. They left everything tidy. A guarantee for the work was sent through by post.

We lost a couple of roof tiles in the recent storms and decided to have these replaced and the roof inspected for any other issues as part of the same work. We contacted Ashmark as we had used them for a bigger job on another property a few years ago and been both pleased and impressed with the result. They arranged for an inspection and this was carried out on the specified date. We subsequently received a quote which we were happy with and the work was carried out on the agreed date. At no point did we feel under pressure or that any unnecessary work was being suggested. Everyone we dealt with at Ashmark was friendly, helpful and pragmatic. It was refreshing to find that they continued to maintain such high standards and I would have no hesitation in recommending them in future.

Top job. Tony was informative and very efficient with arranging the overall job and handling of all paperwork, which was immaculate. Steve and Jamie were a delight to deal with. They arrived promptly, were polite and professional, but also friendly and explained exactly what they were doing and were very knowledgeable in answering any questions I had. Ashmark did a very professional job in stripping out the old Roof membrane & re-laying a new roof. Some of the insulation & other existing material could be re used. They reduced the final bill significantly on their own because of this. Very professional & straight forward approach by them.

Ashmark Roofing gave an honest evaluation of the works required and they took photos of the problem areas to explain the work that was needed to be done. Tony promptly followed the evaluation up with a competitive quote for the work. All the work was carried out professionally, including the erection and the removal of the scaffolding. Photos were provided daily by Steve to evidence the work in progress. Steve and Jamie arrived daily on time and carried out the work to a high standard, clearing up after themselves daily. I would highly recommend Ashmark Roofing to anyone requiring roofing repairs, as they were honest, hard working and the entire service was carried out with the minimum of disruption.
