Ashmark Roofing did a brilliant job in re-alignment of my gutter and reinforced a roof board, which has been problematic for a time. I have paid some one else a few years to put up new gutters, after a year the water was running down the window. I thought that I had to replace the gutters but was told by Tony that wasn’t required. Tony the roofer turned up when they said he would, he was pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the work that he was undertaking. He found an issue with one of my windows, he took photos so that I could see the issue and provided a quote. Tony cleaned up and also removed some old birds nest, sealed the holes. All works was done to the agreement amount and timings. I haven’t found any issue so far, it’s been raining a lot lately and the gutters are doing what they're supposed to do.

I first used Ashmark Roofing about 10 years ago to replace and renew the flat roofing on my garden shed. The work was done by Paul and an assistant. They explained what they were doing and were polite and tidied up thoroughly. There have been no problems since, and the guarantee has run out. Since then I have used Ashmark Roofing a few times with problems relating to guttering on my conservatory roof and elsewhere which they resolved. Last summer the ground floor extension to my semi-detached house developed a leak and here this took some time to resolve. The man who came to fix it also called Tony couldn't pin-point the source of the leak despite 2 or 3 attempts. So the proprietor Tony Hewett sent somebody else called Steve who came over and straight away identified the source of the problem. He did the work at the beginning of May 2024 and there have been no more leaks. He was friendly and polite and I wish he had come over at the onset The original job was done about 6 month earlier but it took this long because I didn't want anyone coming over when it was raining and there has been a lot of that. The proprietor Tony Hewett is a man of principle and good ethics and he is not satisfied if his customer isn't.

I had to call Ashmark Roofing to attend to my conservatory roof which needed some repairs. I have used this company in the past and have found them to be reliable and attentive. The proprietor is helpful but sometimes difficult to get hold of. He sent round somebody to whom I explained the problem and I expressed what I wanted done. This man was very punctual which I appreciated. I received an estimate a few days later and after a few phone calls and e-mails agreed a date for them to start. Two men came over and again they were very punctual. They finished the work in a couple of hours and cleared and removed all the debris from the site. The workers are respectful, friendly and polite. I was sent an invoice by post which I had to pay promptly according to their terms and conditions.

I called in Ashmark, whom I had first used 3 years ago and been satisfied with, to fix a couple of things I had noticed on my roof and gutters and to check my roof generally. They came when they said they would to view the job and sent me a detailed written estimate the same day. Not all firms manage that. They kept me informed about start date and turned up as arranged and on time the following week (which was the first dry day after their first visit). The workmen were hard workers, courteous, tidy and finished the job when they said they would. The job included solving a longstanding problem with a flat roof. It's too soon to say definitely that they've cured this but, despite incessant rain over the last 48 hours, the rainwater accumulating on the flat roof in question was very much reduced; there was hardly any, which is a significant improvement. Other roofers I called in the past about the roof were unable to deliver this. Would I use them again? Yes: responsive, reliable, competent, good quality workmanship and service at a competitive price.

I used Ashmark Roofing, based in London N21 to sort out a persistent problem that I was experiencing with a downpipe on my two storey house. It was one of those jobs that you put off and put off, but everytime there was some moderate to heavy rain the downpipe would not do its job and water would spill down the wall. No signs of damp problems, but rather than face costly remedial work I asked Ashmark to provide a quote. They charged £432 and did the work within a few days. Now the downpipe and guttering works well.

This was the third time we have used Ashmark Roofing, and once again we were happy with their work. The problem - a split in a roof valley - was quickly identified and repaired by Tony and his co-worker. This company is reliable and the quality of their work is good. I'd happily recommend them.

Spoke to the owner Tony, who sent over one of his flat roofing specialists within 24 hours. It was a quite simple repair but, our slow leaking roof would have cause a lot of problems if it wasn't seen to quickly, especially with the inclement weather expected over the next week. Appreciate the help, and have added this company to my list of tradesman I would use in future and trust to recommend to friends.
