Requested a quotation via Trustatrader for the renewal of some guttering and downpipe at the rear of my house. Clear and regular communication from Tony of Ashmark Roofing throughout the whole process. On the day, Darren and a colleague arrived promptly and just cracked on. A nice neat job done, completed swiftly and without issue. Old materials removed from site and working area left tidy. Ashmark Roofing did a brilliant job in re-alignment of my gutter and reinforced a roof board, which has been problematic for a time. I have paid some one else a few years to put up new gutters, after a year the water was running down the window. I thought that I had to replace the gutters but was told by Tony that wasn’t required. Tony the roofer turned up when they said he would, he was pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the work that he was undertaking. He found an issue with one of my windows, he took photos so that I could see the issue and provided a quote. Tony cleaned up and also removed some old birds nest, sealed the holes. All works was done to the agreement amount and timings. I haven’t found any issue so far, it’s been raining a lot lately and the gutters are doing what they're supposed to do.

Well I have waited over 2 months before leaving this review. But we finally had plenty of rain in May and which gave a thorough testing of Ashmark's roof repair and I am so relieved to be able to say there was no sign of the leak! Our garage roof was replaced as per our wishes. The company did a superb job and were always on time. They were polite, courteous and professional. We were impressed by the company’s detailed, itemised estimate for the work. The standard of work was excellent and the site was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this company.

From enquiry through to completion of work, I could not be more complimentary of this company and in particular Tony and Paul. Lots of good humour, fantastic workmanship and a very honest way of talking. Communication was quick. I needed an old brick shed retiling and a window fitted, with some gutter repairs on the house. The work was all completed, as promised, within one day. Some unforeseen issues were dealt with and re-costed very reasonably. The 3 workers were all helpful, did the work to a very high standard and cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished. Communication from start to finish was very good. I would definitely use this firm again.

I had to call Ashmark Roofing to attend to my conservatory roof which needed some repairs. I have used this company in the past and have found them to be reliable and attentive. The proprietor is helpful but sometimes difficult to get hold of. He sent round somebody to whom I explained the problem and I expressed what I wanted done. This man was very punctual which I appreciated. I received an estimate a few days later and after a few phone calls and e-mails agreed a date for them to start. Two men came over and again they were very punctual. They finished the work in a couple of hours and cleared and removed all the debris from the site. The workers are respectful, friendly and polite. I was sent an invoice by post which I had to pay promptly according to their terms and conditions.

Ashmark Roofers came to solve a roof problem that we had and initially cleared debris that had blocked a gully and then came along on a separate day to sweep and properly clear the whole roof, which is quite big. This a block of 21 flats, with seven flats on each floor. They were very efficient and friendly.

Tony Hewett and his team have again worked their magic on our property, this time at the front. Replacing broken soffit and ageing fascia boards that were more than 120 years old with robust UPVC boards and deep capacity guttering all in black. So much smarter and now almost maintenance free. Ashmark Roofing are a small firm but have the right attitude, they listen to the customer, give advice based on experience, then do what is needed on schedule and do it quickly and properly without fuss. Tony is very helpful, willing to go the extra mile happy to talk and they offer a worthwhile 10 year guarantee on all their work. Their pricing is fair, no surprise additions on the bill and they are 100% honest before, during and after the job. I cannot recommend Ashmark Roofing highly enough, they should be a first point of call for all roofing and allied work in North London postcode areas.

I had 2 small flat roofs renewed. The work was carried out at an agreed date and agreed price. When I first contacted Tony (the owner of Ashmark) he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and re-assuring. As I continued my dealings I could see that this is a very professional company. He has restored my faith in the roofing profession!!!! On the day of the work, the two lads were very hardworking, polite and respectful... a credit to the company. I have other roofing work in the future and will not hesitate in using Ashmark again.

We needed the gas boiler flue removing from our extension flat roof as we are all electric heating now. The estimate was quickly provided after a prompt survey and the work carried out quickly and efficiently. I'm very pleased with the work that Tony and his team completed for me. The flat roof over the loft threw up some unexpected problems but that was dealt with to great effect and the quality of the work seems excellent. The roofers replaced my kitchen flat roof which was leaking. Work also involved part of a sloping roof & they have resolved the problem. They were efficient, courteous & professional despite the freezing cold weather! Also, they updated me with any issues they came across. The work comes with an insurance-backed guarantee. A leaking gutter spotted just before Christmas, Ashmark were able to respond quickly and a minor problem with the actual repair job was swiftly dealt with a few days later.

Tony & Steve quoted for replacement Fascia & Soffit boards plus a new Gutter and Downpipe in black UPVC. There was a substantial amount of work to do high up on the roof level, using scaffolding provided for a structural repair contactor. Tony was happy to use that scaffolding and fit in with our timescale once the brickwork repair had finished. Steve arrived on the day and just cracked on with it dealing happily with a number of issues, in spite of a slightly wonky roof level. All of the work was done to the highest standards and we felt included in all the decisions and asked to approve the work once completed at the end of the day. Tony is what I would call a traditional time served craftsman, no messing about, knows what he does is high quality, very polite and is happy to chat although being so highly rated comes with a problem, this firm is very busy, so expect to wait a little. I will be delighted to work with Ashmark Roofing in the near future. As far as cost is concerned Ashmark Roofing are fair and reasonable and the final invoice matched the quoted estimate exactly. Tony and Steve will go out of their way to help, even posting me some spare gutter bracket clips. Very highly recommended for roofing and gutter/fascia/soffit work.

Ashmark replaced the lead flashing on a sidewall. They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and said they’d get someone round to inspect as soon as possible, this took place a couple of weeks later, it wasn’t an emergency so was ok. The man got his ladders out and had a good look, so I was confident the quote would be accurate. The quote was well presented, not just how much but set out the guarantee, which was more reassuring than other quotes that were slightly cheaper. They came two weeks later and fixed in a day, pleasant man, explained what was wrong, showed the defective flashing, and left without any mess. I went with Ashmark because they presented a more professional approach that gave me confidence the work would be done well and backed up by insurance guarantee.

Ashmark Roofing did a stellar job on our roof. They went above and beyond and did some extra small bits to prevent a leak. They are very knowledgeable and work safely, communicated well throughout and provided before and after photos. This is my 3rd time using Tony and would highly recommend.

I had new gutters and down pipes to replace the old ones. The work was done to a very high standard, they even did some cement work to fill in some not seen holes under the old wooden fascia boards. They came on time, finished on time, clean and tidy job. Price was right for the job. Thanks 10 out of 10.

Work carried out- renew flat roof over a front doorway, replace broken and slipped tiles to roof area adjacent to the flat roof. Replace guttering to bay window over garage door and downpipes connected to all of the above. Good quality workmanship. Cleaned up afterwards, old materials removed. Pleasant people to deal with in the office/over the phone and by email. Contractors on site very pleasant and polite. They attended when organised and carried out the work well in early November following October 2020, one of the wettest Octobers on record. In all very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the work. All looks good. I expect it was reasonable value for money.

Tony and his colleague Steve completed a thorough roof maintenance job, showing diligence and courtesy. In 35 years of house ownership, they are the best roofing company we have employed and will definitely be called on again if we have any further repairs or maintenance to do.

A comprehensive survey of roof and identification of problems. Detailed explanation and estimate, Repointed ridge tiles, replaced broken tiles, secured and re-sealed bedding of front gable valleys. Despite difficulties due to weather inspection and repairs were carried out promptly, efficiently as per estimate.
