The roof of our new house had been neglected for decades and required a range of small jobs done to prevent future damage and resolve small issues. Ashmark were very busy, but communicated honestly about their availability and made efforts to get to us as soon as they could. Steve came to quote and was thorough in his examination, answering all our questions and explaining clearly what bits of work were optional and what was required. We received a detailed quote soon after, with accurate estimates of when they could start. Tony managed the whole process, including scaffolders, and kept us informed throughout. The work was done quickly, professionally, and under budget. All in all, a really excellent, high quality and professional service from the whole team. Can't recommend highly enough.

I'd had a problem with water egress following a loft extension and removal of a chimney breast. At least three other roofing companies had failed to fix or even diagnose the correct cause and had consequently failed to fix the problem. Ashmark Roofing figured it out quickly and fixed the problem. They were friendly, hard-working and completed the work on time. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

We wanted our old flat roof - nearing the end of its life - renewed before having solar panels installed. Paul, Ashmark's flat roof specialist, inspired confidence from the beginning, suggesting bonding on another layer. Ashmark gave us a competitive quote. Paul and Brad were fabulously efficient, unfazed by the fact that we had covid (we masked up and kept away from them). They did a brilliant job, cleaned up beautifully and, when there was a slight problem with waste, came back promptly to sort it out. I can't recommend them highly enough. Our friend praised them highly and he was right.

Ashmark Roofing was recommended by two neighbours and the firm lived up to expectations. Paul came to replace my leaky rear flat roof. He arrived at 8.00 am as arranged and the roof was completed by 2.00 pm. The finished roof looked immaculate. All old material was removed from site and his young assistant swept all the dust and debris away with a very large broom. It was taken away for safe disposal. No more leaks this winter.

Ashmark Roofing replaced the existing worn out covering of the two flat roofs with three layer Torch on Felt and replaced the old cast-iron gutters with pvc ones at the same time. Paul, Ashmark's flat roof specialist, carried out the work with Brad, arrived as planned, kept me informed of progress, repaired a small issue, worked through to finish the job over the two days as scheduled and cleaned up beautifully at the end. Paul was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He completed to a very high standard and to the agreed budget. Tony, Ashmark’s manager, gave me a competitive quote. At my request he kindly explained the quote in detail and organised the scaffolding. Tony also provided photos after to show the work done. Communication with both Tony and Paul was excellent. Our new roofs and guttering have been completed to a very high standard and with full guarantee which is very reassuring. Ashmark know the trade inside out and I would definitely contact them again in the future for any roofing needs. Highly recommended!

Ashmark carried out work on my mansard roof and replaced a downpipe. Tony managed the job in professional, friendly and efficient manner. He also priced the job fairly - it was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote. Steve and Rob carried out the job with skill and efficiency. The roofing trade has more than its share of cowboys - those who are dishonest about the work that needs to be carried out and those who lack the skills to do it properly. It's a relief to find a trustworthy company.

Ashmark Roofing replaced the gutters on the rear of our house. They came to quote very soon and we only had to wait around two weeks after that for the work to be done. The job was done very efficiently and only took half a day. The two roofers who attended were pleasant to have around and cleared up thoroughly after themselves. The new gutters look just right and we are very satisfied with the whole experience.

The trader responded quickly to my enquiry and sent a representative within a few days to consider my situation and advise me how to proceed. An estimate was soon produced, based on observations from ground level. A phone discussion with the trader enabled me to agree the scope of the work needed. After I had secured the necessary agreement from my neighbours, a start date for the work was agreed. The work on my chimney stack was promptly carried out (by the same representative I had met earlier) and I was pleased that this work was completed in one day.

Great Service from a Which Local Contractor. I had to source a roofer for my elderly mother (86yrs) to have a roofing problem solved. I live in Edinburgh and she in London N18. Which Local proved invaluable. Ashmark Roofing, were contacted and were very professional. They turned up when they said they would, polite and professional and happy to explain the problem, they then provided a written and verbal quote. On the day of the repair, they turned up promptly and got on with the work without fuss or messing about, although they were checked on by my brother who cares for my Mum (neither has access to the internet). The repair completed they tidied up after themselves. All round great effort from Ashmark at a sensible price. Highly recommended - keep up the great service. Which Local is only as good as the honest reviews of end users and on this occasion their services were invaluable. Thanks very much.

From first contact with Tony I was impressed by his down to earth and straight forward approach. The quote provided clearly demonstrated a full understanding of the work needed and the team completing the work were efficient, professional and friendly - even washed up their own coffee cups! The quality of the workmanship was 1st class - even the buildings regulations inspector commented on the high standards. The team used their initiative when needed and were always considerate and accommodating. The work was finished ahead of schedule and the site was left clean and tidy. I initially approached Ashmark because of the quantity and quality of reviews on the Which? site, having always relied upon personal recommendation/referral before. Ashmark recently replaced the timbers and slates on our pitched roof, re-covered two flat roofs and carried out some re-pointing work for us too. Tony was very helpful throughout the process, arranging for an initial assessment within 24 hours of our original call and providing us with a written estimate the day after the assessment. The start date for the work was slightly delayed due to bad weather, however this was clearly beyond their control and we were regularly updated and didn't cause us any inconvenience. They have also continued to be very responsive to a few follow up queries/requests since the job was completed. The roofing work was carried out to a high standard and we are very happy with it. The workmen were knowledgeable and very helpful and carried out the work quickly and efficiently and left the site in good shape when the job was completed. They also liaised with the local authority Building Control team to arrange for the necessary certification to be issued. In terms of cost, Ashmark's quote was slightly lower than the other estimates that we obtained for the work. Although we mainly selected them on the basis of the positive impression we had of Tony and his team, it was nice to find that they are also competitive on pricing. We would not hesiatate to recommend them for any similar work.
