Ashmark Roofing

I have had some bad experiences with roofers: you can't get up the ladder to check what they say and there is a risk that they exaggerate the problem to inflate the cost. Which is why I turn to Ashmark Roofing because I know they are a: honest b: good at what they do and c: guarantee their work. Highly recommended

Ashmark recently replaced the timbers and slates on our pitched roof, re-covered two flat roofs and carried out some re-pointing work for us too. Tony was very helpful throughout the process, arranging for his workmen to carry out an initial assessment within 24 hours of our original call and providing us with a written estimate the day after the assessment. The provisional start date we were given was moved back due to bad weather but that was clearly not within their control and we were updated on a regular basis. To Ashmark's credit, they have continued to be very responsive to a few follow up queries/requests since the job was completed (and after they had been paid!). The roofing work was carried out to a high standard and we are very happy with it. The workmen were knowledgeable and very helpful and carried out the work quickly and efficiently and left the site in good shape when the job was completed. They also liaised with the local authority Building Control team to arrange for the necessary certification to be issued. In terms of cost, Ashmark's quote was slightly lower than the other estimates that we obtained for the work. Although we mainly selected them for the work on the basis of the positive impression we had of Tony and his team, it was nice to find that they are also competitive on pricing. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Ashmark for any similar jobs.

I chose Ashmark as they were highly rated on the Which Trusted Traders site. They carried out the renewal of a single storey flat roof and replacement of miscellaneous main roof tiles in a very professional manner. Tony and Darren were a pleasure to deal with and I'd certainly recommend this company to anyone needing roof work in the future.

Steve and Jamie were very efficient in carrying out the work on my property. They cleared the guttering, both front and back, repoint the flashing of the lead bay roof and repainted the roof with Acrypol. A late addition to the previously agreed tasks was accommodated willingly and without further charge Recommended

I am very pleased with the service from Ashmark. The quotation was quick, the repair was done to a high standard and the roofers were considerate towards the neighbours and meticulous in tidying up before they left. I would absolutely recommend them.

Tony and his team came over to do a free assessment of our roof leak and even fixed an obvious crack for free, just in case that fixed it. They also supplied us with quotes for two different options to fix the problems and explained the benefits of each. When the initial fix didn't resolve the issue we got them round to implement one of their suggested solutions. The team were punctual, polite, friendly and effective. The work was done very neatly and has fixed our leak. Thoroughly recommended.

Have no hesitation in recommending this firm for reliability, competence and at reasonable cost. Tony (on the admin side) returned our call promptly and inspired confidence. Darren the Roofer turned up as promised by Tony and put in a hard day's work to patch up our roof and we are confident that we are now fully waterproof.

Obviously time will tell if roofing will hold out but I was very impressed with the way it was all handled from start to finish. This involved two valleys on a pitched roof, a flat bay window roof, and another flat roof. Tony Hewett the proprietor actually got back to me by phone (not always the case with some contractors) and then organised his guys Steve and Jamie to come and look. They were prompt, very polite, willing and thorough. Initially they took photos to show where damage lay. Quote was sent in a couple of days by Tony who followed everything up with the necessary paperwork including independent insurers. To date we have been very satisfied and would definitely use again
