Ashmark Roofing have done a few jobs for us over the years. They are reliable, professional, good value for money and easy to deal with. Unlike many in this business. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

A gentleman popped over to quote and looked carefully at what needed to be done (more than just a cursory glance). The scaffolding was arranged quickly, then two days later the two gentlemen from Ashmark Roofing turned up on time, were friendly and polite, got on with the job, and explained what they were doing and why. When there was a small change to the plan this was discussed with me. No nasty extra costs. They left everything tidy. A guarantee for the work was sent through by post.

I used Ashmark Roofing, recommended by a friend, after I had been told by other companies that I needed a new roof. Tony assured me that most roofs could be repaired in his experience. He sent Steve to assess the job to be undertaken. Steve looked at the roof and made an assessment of the repair required. Although I wasn't given much notice of when the work would be undertaken, given the particular circumstances, I rearranged my schedule to accomodate the date given. Steve is an excellent roofer. he is one of the few roofers, I have known who really enjoys repairing roofs rather than replacing them, and takes a pride in what he does. He has sorted the problem and has assured me that should it recur he will come and sort it. Such skilled workman, in my experience are difficult to find these days. I also have the company's guarantee and would definitely recommend them

I used Ashmark Roofing for a replacement flat roof. The company has been very professional throughout, from organising the quote through to completing the work. Communication with Tony to organise dates and times was very smooth and prompt. Paul and Brad were super professional and did an excellent job on the flat roof. Tony and the team at Ashmark helped resolve an issue with our flat roof and replaced some coping stones. Ashmark re-covered our flat roof (on a small block of shared freehold flats) 26 years ago, so they were a top contender to do the same again when, after many trouble free years, we started getting some leaks in the recent very wet winter. We had already decided some time back that, once we started to get any problems, we would go for complete renewal and would add insulation. Comparative quotes showed their price to be the local rate for the job. The two workers (the senior of whom had been the assistant on the previous occasion) were pleasant, helpful and ready to answer any questions arising in the course of the job. Disturbance to residents was minimal and, when a detail needed to be changed in a way which reduced time and material needed, they promptly reduced their price without our needing to request this. All was completed in the predicted timescale. The site was kept clean for the duration of the work and all rubbish was cleared and scaffolding removed a few days after completion. As Secretary of the flats management company I was their main contact. A 10 years guarantee has been provided.

After moving into our house we contacted Ashmark Roofing about some much needed gutter repairs and chimney re-pointing / capping. Tony was sent round to assess the work required and gave us an honest assessment of what was required with no hint of trying to oversell things. When it came to doing the work everything was completed on time and the price was exactly as quoted. The work was done in a friendly and efficient manner. I used Ashmark Roofing, based in London N21 to sort out a persistent problem that I was experiencing with a downpipe on my two storey house. It was one of those jobs that you put off and put off, but everytime there was some moderate to heavy rain the downpipe would not do its job and water would spill down the wall. No signs of damp problems, but rather than face costly remedial work I asked Ashmark to provide a quote. They charged £432 and did the work within a few days. Now the downpipe and guttering works well.

Removal of defective apron flashings at the base of two dormers and replace with code 4 lead, cut and lapped to appropriate lengths and dressed over tiles of pitched roof. This first required careful removal of the bottom course of tiles for each dormer and subsequent replacement of said tiles. The work was carried out to an agreed schedule and at cost specified in the quotation. The trader worked from scaffolding at roof level for two days in direct hot sun. Communications with the trader by phone and email were satisfactory.

I first used Ashmark Roofing about 10 years ago to replace and renew the flat roofing on my garden shed. The work was done by Paul and an assistant. They explained what they were doing and were polite and tidied up thoroughly. There have been no problems since, and the guarantee has run out. Since then I have used Ashmark Roofing a few times with problems relating to guttering on my conservatory roof and elsewhere which they resolved. Last summer the ground floor extension to my semi-detached house developed a leak and here this took some time to resolve. The man who came to fix it also called Tony couldn't pin-point the source of the leak despite 2 or 3 attempts. So the proprietor Tony Hewett sent somebody else called Steve who came over and straight away identified the source of the problem. He did the work at the beginning of May 2024 and there have been no more leaks. He was friendly and polite and I wish he had come over at the onset The original job was done about 6 month earlier but it took this long because I didn't want anyone coming over when it was raining and there has been a lot of that. The proprietor Tony Hewett is a man of principle and good ethics and he is not satisfied if his customer isn't.

Steve and Paul repaired my roof. They were punctual, hard-working, reliable and pleasant to deal with. They dealt with any problems in a helpful manner and kept me informed about what was going on. They discussed the various possibilities clearly. They kept to the schedule and quotation.

Ashmark replaced an old, leaking flat roof above a bay window and from start to finish both their communications and the work carried out were refreshingly professional and efficient. Tony always responded promptly to emails and phone calls and Paul and Brad, the team who did the work, were prompt, courteous and did and excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had damp in an upstairs bedroom from previously blocked and overflowing gutters. We also had a leaky lean-to roof. Tony came round and took a good look before arranging a very reasonable quote. Tony and Mick worked really hard for us on the day, sorting out the gutter, doing pointing on the chimney and sorting out the "fillet" between the extension and main building, as well as adding eaves carriers where needed and re-taping the lean-to roof. All these jobs took a little longer than expected, but they completed the work without complaint or extra charge and they only stopped once for a break and a cup of tea. It was a pleasure having them around - real old school gents and they take pride in their work, are experienced, and know what they are doing. The lean-to is nice and dry again and hopefully the wall upstairs will now dry out completely so we can re-decorate. Thank you too for brilliant communication and pleasant chats throughout. I will definitely call on Ashmark Roofing again when I need them. - Oh, and, by the way, they also predicted the weather better than the Met Office did! :-)

After 2 previous attempts by different roofing companies to fix a longstanding issue with our back roof without success (one company making the problem much worse) Ashmark Roofing have succeeded! Tony's communication by phone and email has been excellent throughout both in relation to the roof itself and the scaffolding required. Steve was excellent in carrying out the work, which ultimately differed to that quoted. This was due to his logical troubleshooting and altering the repair that was required accordingly. I booked Ashmark for a range of small and necessary tasks on our roof. They are an established firm with many years' experience and it shows. The quote was clear, reasonable and thorough. Steve and his assistant arrived early. They were lovely and kind, and worked diligently, quickly and clearly effectively. The site was left notably clean on both days. Apparently it was a small job and because of that firms were slow to even come and quote. But Ashmark restored my faith in using local firms. Took a couple of days for someone to come out and have a look, but that was a positive suggesting they are a busy firm. Then it took a few days for a quote to be provided (which also filled me with confidence). When the work was due to commence, they arrived on the right day at the right time an completed the work in the timescale that was agreed. Fantastic service, especially after being let down by other firms. Would definitely recommend.

My roof sprung a leak that was seeping into my young son's bedroom. On the recommendation of a work colleague I contacted Tony at Ashmark Roofing. Tony came back to me within a couple of days and arranged for the roof to be examined - photos were taken and a plan of action proposed and agreed. Tony explained that he would need to fit my job into his existing work schedule but would have it done as soon as he could. True to his word the scaffolders arrived 3 weeks after first contact, the job completed in a day and the scaffolding removed the day after. Photos of the completed job were taken and shared. I am very happy with the service provided and the job completed (as per budget) and have no hesitation in giving my recommendation to Ashmark roofing.

After arranging the erection of suitable scaffolding by a third party, Steve and Tony from the firm arrived at the promised time, replaced the gutter at the rear of my house and installed UPVC fascia and soffit boards in a professional and timely manner, and cleared up properly after completing the work in one morning. This is the second time I employed Ashmark Roofing to repair and make watertight a flank window and rear windows below the roof. Some of the work was tricky: Tony, very accommodatingly, went ‘the extra length’ to get the most suitable material for the job. Ashmark Roofing replaced the gutters on the rear of our house. They came to quote very soon and we only had to wait around two weeks after that for the work to be done. The job was done very efficiently and only took half a day. The two roofers who attended were pleasant to have around and cleared up thoroughly after themselves. Ashmark Roofing replaced the existing worn out covering of the two flat roofs with three layer Torch on Felt and replaced the old cast-iron gutters with pvc ones at the same time. Paul, Ashmark's flat roof specialist, carried out the work with Brad, arrived as planned, kept me informed of progress, repaired a small issue, worked through to finish the job over the two days as scheduled and cleaned up beautifully at the end. The box gutter of our Edwardian house needed repairing. Steve from Ashmark roofing is knowledgeable and experienced so was able to effect the repairs to a very high standard despite the challenging nature of the job. He usefully provided before and after photos to show the extent of the damage and the subsequent repair work done. There was good communication throughout the whole process which was appreciated. Ashmark roofing are a competent, professional and reliable company and we would therefore have no hesitation in recommending them.

Trying to find a decent, reliable roofer is almost impossible and so when I contacted Tony at Ashmark I could tell straight away that he was all those things. I described the leak from the chimney stack that was happening in very intense rain and he didn't give me worse case 'very expensive' scenarios over the phone like other roofers had, he was pragmatic and considerate about keeping my costs down. Steve came to quote and then came to do the job when I hired Ashmark. Steve was very professional, on-time and took photos of before and after. He explained in easy to understand detail what he was going to do and why. After the job was finished he even tidied up a few other little things he saw on the roof for me. The Ashmark Roofing team were very polite and efficient in repairing the damaged tiles on my roof. Reclaimed weathered tiles used to minimise the look of a repair, with new felt laid from the top to repair lining. Very satisfied customer, would consider again for future work.

Dealing with Ashmark Roofing was a pleasure throughout. Initially, I communicated with Tony, the company manager. His communication both on the phone and subsequent emails was excellent. He listened carefully to the work I wanted done on my roof and guttering. He then arranged for Steve to come and estimate for the work. Steve was friendly and polite and gave me a clear idea of what was needed. On a gutter repair he said his aim was always to repair if possible rather than renew. Ashmark carried out work on my mansard roof and replaced a downpipe. Tony managed the job in professional, friendly and efficient manner. He also priced the job fairly - it was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote. Steve and Rob carried out the job with skill and efficiency. The roofing trade has more than its share of cowboys - those who are dishonest about the work that needs to be carried out and those who lack the skills to do it properly. Ashmark replaced the front slate roof on my Victorian house, with workmanship to a high standard and I'm very pleased with the end result. They weren't able to replace my roof immediately, as I was in a bit of a queue for their services. However, they patched up my original roof to make sure it was watertight, to see me through the waiting period, and a lot of rain. I was also shown the courtesy of a couple of update calls, to say I'd not been forgotten and to tell me the progress of my position in the queue, which I was most grateful for. The workmen arrived as planned and were all incredibly polite and courteous, once again keeping me informed of their progress. They pointed out a couple of little issues with my brickwork and repaired them at no extra cost to the quote I'd received. They completed the work to schedule and tidied up very well. I received the guarantee and insurance documents within a couple of days of the roof's completion. The price of the work was reasonable and for once, I wasn't left with that nagging feeling of doubt that I'd overpaid for a service, which I've been left with previously. I highly recommend Ashmark and my experience of them left me feeling that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction.

Ashmark replaced all the main house guttering which had been incorrectly installed since the house was built 30 years ago. Their workman Steve did a great job, ensuring a proper fall on the new gutter and at the same time painting the soffits and covering the existing sound fascia boards with very smart Upvc covers throughout. The end result looks good, and at last properly diverts rain away from the house into the downpipes. Tony oversaw the project with prompt replies to my emails and good attention to detail. I'm pleased to recommend Ashmark to others.

I have employed Ashmark Roofing to remove an unsafe redundant chimney stack and to make watertight a bay window flat roof. I initially contacted the owner of company having seen recommendations after my own due diligence. The owner was easy to get on with and asked how I heard of their company. We discussed when and who he would send to quote for the replacement of ridge tiles due to previous bad work of another company. Steve turned up as agreed and explained what was needed. This is not the first time I’ve sought the help of Ashmark Roofing and I cannot recommend them more highly. During the downpours of Oct/Nov the flat roof at the back of my house started leaking and also the chimney needed some repairs. Within a week from receiving a quote (which offered a couple of options) the work had been done. (I had a quote from another reputable company which was a lot higher than I was expecting). Paul and Brad were extremely accommodating, found a way to do the job without the use of costly scaffolding and even helped me out with a couple of additional small jobs which they didn’t charge me for. With Paul’s good humour and with Tony in charge this is a great, honest, well run company. As a single female I am always wary of being ripped off or patronised but I can confidently say that this is not the case with Ashmark Roofing.

Weatherproofing and re-guttering a garage roof. The work was done as a follow up to a previous bay0roof renovation which was very successful. The work on both occasions was done very well by workmen who are very prompt, knowledgeable and conscientious. I recommend this company highly.

Ashmark really are a great roofing firm. They turn up when they say they will, explain the job clearly and carry it out with great quality and attention to detail. I've had them work on my roof three times now (never the same bit twice though) and have been very happy each time. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the service offered. Saw the positive reviews and by chance a friend had just used them. Was provided a quote and we decided to go ahead with Ashmark to complete the roof work we needed. Very pleased with the service. Like the fact they took pictures before and after the work. Steve and his assistant cut a new valley in our roof, repaired broken tiles and put lead flashing between the join with next door’s roof. We had a bad leak in the roof which was completely fixed by the end of the work. The work is of fantastic quality and guaranteed and insured. We were talked through the work throughout the job and were shown photos of every stage. They worked hard to complete the work on the last day as heavy rain was forecast for that night. Steve also fixed a loose drainpipe for no extra charge. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and reliable and I would heartily recommend them to anyone for roofing matters. Tony in the office is also a diamond, helpful throughout. Brilliant service!

Contacted Ashmark roofing to get a quote for repair to roof. From start to finish, the contact with them was brilliant, they always responded to any messages I left. The quote they gave was affordable and reasonable. On the day turned up promptly, carried out work professionally and trustworthy. It is difficult to find sufficient words of praise for Ashmark who completely re-roofed our very large old building earlier this month. They were the best. Tony who handled the administration side was meticulous in quoting for the work, addressing our queries, updating us on progress, dealing with the Council, and handling the unexpected. It was a joy for all the separate owners / occupiers of our home to encounter Ashmark’s level of efficiency. The team who carried out the work were a pleasure to have around, courteous and sensitive to resident needs. They also began on the agreed date and completed within the estimated timescale. Ashmark fully deserves the quality of reviews it receives. Without question we would use them again and recommend them unreservedly.

Ashmark Roofing was recommended by two neighbours and the firm lived up to expectations. Paul came to replace my leaky rear flat roof. He arrived at 8.00 am as arranged and the roof was completed by 2.00 pm. The finished roof looked immaculate. All old material was removed from site and his young assistant swept all the dust and debris away with a very large broom. It was taken away for safe disposal. No more leaks this winter.

Inspected the roof to discover the cause of the leak. Quoted a price and explained what work would be completed. They arrived on time and sorted everything very quickly, they even made a repair to a drainpipe they found to be leaking that wasn't included in the original quoted work and they didn't charge extra for it. What a pleasure to deal with Ashmark Roofing. Whether it was Tony in the office or the guys on the roof they are friendly and professional and leave site tidy and clean after the roofing work is finished. Ashmark were excellent to deal with. I coordinated the quote with Tony. Steve came right on time to look at the job and gave some advice about the insurance aspect. Though it turned out to be a small section of roof that needed repair I told him I was getting in other contractors to look at masonry and pointing. Steve gave me some sound advice on the best practice for repairing our parapet wall and render, even though he didn't need to. Steve returned to repair the roof today and did a few extra things he spotted, including replacing some cracked concrete render on the chimney breast that had not been visible at the time of quoting and would have resulted in a leak if not addressed. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

The roof on our 1930"s end of terrace had needed replacing for some time as it was the original from when the house was built. As, like most people the main concern was to get somebody to do a good job for a fair price, as it"s a major outlay and you dont want worries after it"s been done. My partners daughter chose Ashmark Roofing from reviews on the internet and I"m glad she did. I dealt with the owner Tony to see the work completed. He was very honest with me as at the time there were supply issues. The job went very well, scaffolding came when it said it would on the Monday and work started on the Thursday and completed on the following Thursday. The men were excellent, good workers, very considerate and tidy. They did a first class job and neighbours have admired their work as have we.

My garage flat roof had been leaking for some while. My father had used Ashmark several times before, and I saw that they had good references on TrustATrader. I contacted Tony of Ashmark on a Wednesday, had a visit on Thursday morning, and had a very detailed quote e-mailed to be before the end of the afternoon, which I considered very reasonable and was happy to accept. A date for the work was agreed, and Paul and his colleague turned up at the agreed time and stripped off the old roof. They recommended laying osb board on top of the old decking, which was splitting in places. I was advised of how much extra this would be before agreeing to it. The work took a little less than two days in all. Paul was very thorough, increasing the depth of chasing in the flank wall to ensure an effective fixing of the upstand, and included timber fillets around the perimeter, as per good practice. They managed to retain the upvc fascias. They also covered over the contents of my garage during the work, and swept it out afterwards. Everything was cleared away afterwards and left tidy. I received an invoice after the work was completed, and once I'd paid this, I was sent an invoice and the Insurance-backed Warrantee. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ashmark, based on their responsiveness, pricing, knowledge and workmanship, and courtesy.

We wanted our old flat roof - nearing the end of its life - renewed before having solar panels installed. Paul, Ashmark's flat roof specialist, inspired confidence from the beginning, suggesting bonding on another layer. Ashmark gave us a competitive quote. Paul and Brad were fabulously efficient, unfazed by the fact that we had covid (we masked up and kept away from them). They did a brilliant job, cleaned up beautifully and, when there was a slight problem with waste, came back promptly to sort it out. I can't recommend them highly enough. Second time I have used this company (for flat roof first time). Roofers worked really hard in difficult conditions (between storms) to complete the work. They were punctual, very polite, approachable, reassuring, thorough and always took time to explain and keep us informed at each stage of the work. Took before and after photos of all the work. -Removed existing loose and defective render and defective flashings from complete length of side parapet wall. -Replaced broken tiles. -Supplied and fixed a new code four lead cover flashing to the complete length of each wall with galvanised render bead. -Rendered the inside face of the wall with mortar mix to a smooth finish. -Dressed the new lead flashing over the contours of the adjacent tiles. -Remove debris from site on completion.

I'd had a problem with water egress following a loft extension and removal of a chimney breast. At least three other roofing companies had failed to fix or even diagnose the correct cause and had consequently failed to fix the problem. Ashmark Roofing figured it out quickly and fixed the problem. They were friendly, hard-working and completed the work on time. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Ashmark Roofing carried out a fairly small repair on the roof of the property. During periods of heavy and persistent rain, water was getting through the roof into the bathroom, resulting in two damp patches on the ceiling and the top of the wall. I contacted Ashmark Roofing via their website. Tony who dealt with the communication and administration informed me that he would get someone from the team (another Tony) to inspect the problem. He arrived punctually, was cheerful and knowledgeable, and made his recommendations. I then received a written estimate by email, with one arriving in the post a few days later. After a few more questions from my side, emailed to Ashmark Roofing and answered promptly by Tony, I engaged them to carry out the work. The lead-in time for the job was 2-3 weeks and it was carried out within this timeframe by the other Tony along with another member of the Ashmark Roofing team. They also did an extra job of filling in a couple of holes in the brickwork of the outside rear wall, at no extra charge. They cleared up any debris and removed it from the property. I am pleased to recommend Ashmark Roofing and would certainly use them again in the future if needed.

Ashmark Roofing did a brilliant job in re-alignment of my gutter and reinforced a roof board, which has been problematic for a time. I have paid some one else a few years to put up new gutters, after a year the water was running down the window. I thought that I had to replace the gutters but was told by Tony that wasn’t required. Tony the roofer turned up when they said he would, he was pleasant, knowledgeable and explained the work that he was undertaking. He found an issue with one of my windows, he took photos so that I could see the issue and provided a quote. Tony cleaned up and also removed some old birds nest, sealed the holes. All works was done to the agreement amount and timings. I haven’t found any issue so far, it’s been raining a lot lately and the gutters are doing what they're supposed to do.

I had to call Ashmark Roofing to attend to my conservatory roof which needed some repairs. I have used this company in the past and have found them to be reliable and attentive. The proprietor is helpful but sometimes difficult to get hold of. He sent round somebody to whom I explained the problem and I expressed what I wanted done. This man was very punctual which I appreciated. I received an estimate a few days later and after a few phone calls and e-mails agreed a date for them to start. Two men came over and again they were very punctual. They finished the work in a couple of hours and cleared and removed all the debris from the site. The workers are respectful, friendly and polite. I was sent an invoice by post which I had to pay promptly according to their terms and conditions.

Ashmark Roofers came to solve a roof problem that we had and initially cleared debris that had blocked a gully and then came along on a separate day to sweep and properly clear the whole roof, which is quite big. This a block of 21 flats, with seven flats on each floor. They were very efficient and friendly.

Replacing broken soffit and ageing fascia boards that were more than 120 years old with robust UPVC boards and deep capacity guttering all in black. So much smarter and now almost maintenance free. I had 2 small flat roofs renewed. The work was carried out at an agreed date and agreed price. When I first contacted Tony (the owner of Ashmark) he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and re-assuring. As I continued my dealings I could see that this is a very professional company. A leaking gutter spotted just before Christmas, Ashmark were able to respond quickly and a minor problem with the actual repair job was swiftly dealt with a few days later.

Tony & Steve quoted for replacement Fascia & Soffit boards plus a new Gutter and Downpipe in black UPVC. There was a substantial amount of work to do high up on the roof level, using scaffolding provided for a structural repair contactor. Tony was happy to use that scaffolding and fit in with our timescale once the brickwork repair had finished. Steve arrived on the day and just cracked on with it dealing happily with a number of issues, in spite of a slightly wonky roof level. All of the work was done to the highest standards and we felt included in all the decisions and asked to approve the work once completed at the end of the day. Tony is what I would call a traditional time served craftsman, no messing about, knows what he does is high quality, very polite and is happy to chat although being so highly rated comes with a problem, this firm is very busy, so expect to wait a little. I will be delighted to work with Ashmark Roofing in the near future. As far as cost is concerned Ashmark Roofing are fair and reasonable and the final invoice matched the quoted estimate exactly. Tony and Steve will go out of their way to help, even posting me some spare gutter bracket clips. Very highly recommended for roofing and gutter/fascia/soffit work.

Ashmark replaced the lead flashing on a sidewall. They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and said they’d get someone round to inspect as soon as possible, this took place a couple of weeks later, it wasn’t an emergency so was ok. The man got his ladders out and had a good look, so I was confident the quote would be accurate. The quote was well presented, not just how much but set out the guarantee, which was more reassuring than other quotes that were slightly cheaper. They came two weeks later and fixed in a day, pleasant man, explained what was wrong, showed the defective flashing, and left without any mess. I went with Ashmark because they presented a more professional approach that gave me confidence the work would be done well and backed up by insurance guarantee.

Replace guttering to bay window over garage door and downpipes connected to all of the above. Good quality workmanship. Cleaned up afterwards, old materials removed. They attended when organised and carried out the work well in early November following October 2020, one of the wettest Octobers on record. In all very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the work. All looks good. I expect it was reasonable value for money.

Tony organised steve and his colleague to carried out a couple of jobs need doing on the roof , chimney snack repointing and replace flashing , aluminum soaker. Replace the damaged soffit and fitted new lead collar round the soil pipe. Steve even shown me the pictures before and after from his mobile phone to show the damages round the tiles and the soil pipe where the rain water leek in. A tile had fallen from my roof, damaging guttering as it fell and the apex ridge tiles needed patching. On further inspection in the loft I realised the roof was leaking. Tony and Bob came and did an excellent job repairing my roof. A second job was needed to replace the very old skylight window in the loft and this was replaced by Tony and Bob expertly working from inside the loft. All communications from Tony Hewett were quick, clear,friendly and all work done to the agreed quote. I'm very pleased with both the jobs.

When I saw water running down the walls from a hail storm I knew exactly who to call. Ashmark Roofing have done great work for me in the past and they did so again here. They were quick to come out and assess the problem, gave a reasonable quote and also very quick to then come round and do the work. We would recommend this company. We had a problem of water coming into the small roof on the back of the house. The work was organised and the problem investigated and solved quickly and efficiently. (It rained after the company had left so we were able to check it was ok!). Management and staff were very efficient and helpful and explained everything. (This was done during the coronavirus problem. One member of the household had to be very careful and this was understood and appropriate action, e.g. distancing, taken.)

Ashmark refixed some guttering to the back of my house which had come loose and rain water was going all over the place when it rained. Second Job by Ashmark, this time a flat garage roof. Once again we were extremely pleased. The job was done and the site left spotless all in a single day. The roofer was friendly and professional, stripping all the old felt and replacing this with a modern and neatly finished new surface. Another job well done!

Very easy to work with. The work was completed quickly and was pleasant to have the contractor here. We had a leak in our old flat roof just a few days before Storm Ciara. Tony responded to a text in the evening and arranged a roofer to attend at 9am the next morning to quote. The roofer was able to secure the roof temporarily until the substantive work could start a week later. Tony quoted quickly for the work and the price was reasonable. The guys who did the work were prompt, kept mess to a minimum and took photos of the work along the way so we could see what was being done. Would happily recommend Ashmark.

A representative came round to quote for the work - he explained everything very clearly and showed us two types of vent so that we could choose. After a re-arrangement due to bad weather, one of their roofers came around to fix some slates and the flashing on our lean-to roof. The work was done quickly, and everything is to a high standard. No issues with unexpected charges at a later date either - very pleased!

Last month we noticed (what we thought) was a damp patch in our kitchen. We thought that the flat roof over the kitchen was finally showing signs of wear and tear. We contacted Ashmark who came at the appointed time and assessed. No leak or water penetration due to the roof (condensation was the problem). Ashmark suggested an insulation layer on the flat roof . We decided to go for this option as the flat roof was at least 17 years old (the time we have been in the house). Now we have an enhanced flat roof with a 10 yr guarantee and the bonus of the kitchen feeling warmer due to the extra layer of insulation. We have used Ashmark in the past and I would only want to use Ashmark for roofing jobs on our house.

They are clearly busy at it took a bit of chasing to get a visit and a quote, but once that was done they communicated clearly about the time frame for getting the work done and the small job we needed doing was carried out efficiently and as professionally. The price for the work was about half that of some other companies so very happy with the value for money.

We chose Ashmark from a number of quotes to reroof a large three storey Victorian house with two large parallel slate roofs and a lot of lead work including a box gutter between the two parts of the roof. The small team were very professional and took great care to get the detail right. They were a small team of three men and very personable which is helpful when dealing with them. They worked quietly and arrived for work when they said they were going to arrive and they did an excellent job. The job was done to schedule, allowing for a couple of days of stoppage for rain and almost to budget except for a small 3 to 4% overspend because we unexpectedly needed to replace half the ridge tiles and the proportion of slates which could be reused was a lot less than anticipated. Tony Hewitt, the owner/manager of Ashmark gave a great deal of personal attention to supporting the job and he was always generoud with his time for advice when necessary. They're not cheap but their price was, I felt, reasonable. At time of writing we are still waiting for the guarantee documentation as the work has not long been completed.

This was a small fascia & flashing repair job done well at a good price. Had bad experiences with 2 previous roofers who wanted very high fees for work not needed, Ashmark's advice put my mind at rest.
