Ashmark recently replaced the timbers and slates on our pitched roof, re-covered two flat roofs and carried out some re-pointing work for us too. Tony was very helpful throughout the process, arranging for his workmen to carry out an initial assessment within 24 hours of our original call and providing us with a written estimate the day after the assessment. The provisional start date we were given was moved back due to bad weather but that was clearly not within their control and we were updated on a regular basis. To Ashmark's credit, they have continued to be very responsive to a few follow up queries/requests since the job was completed (and after they had been paid!). The roofing work was carried out to a high standard and we are very happy with it. The workmen were knowledgeable and very helpful and carried out the work quickly and efficiently and left the site in good shape when the job was completed. They also liaised with the local authority Building Control team to arrange for the necessary certification to be issued. In terms of cost, Ashmark's quote was slightly lower than the other estimates that we obtained for the work. Although we mainly selected them for the work on the basis of the positive impression we had of Tony and his team, it was nice to find that they are also competitive on pricing. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Ashmark for any similar jobs.

Ashmark's team managed a large job extremely well. Job included repointing, re-roofing, and drain repair. Their work was very high quality all round. They explained everything clearly, finished promptly, and left the site very tidy. The team was considerate, friendly, self-sufficient, and incredibly hardworking - a nice bunch to have around. Recently moved and found a few leaks in a couple of places, flat roof and domed skylight. I often use Trusted Traders for contractors, so looked up local roofers and found Ashmark Roofing. Left a message and was phoned back quickly by Tony. Had a brief discussion and he arranged for one of his operatives to pop around and look at what needed to be done. Paul came round a couple of days later and instead of suggesting replacing the roof, which I expected, offered a couple of inexpensive options which would do the trick. Received the quote quickly, very reasonable price, and arranged for the work to be done. It all happened really quickly, great communication, work was done promptly and neatly. I have already asked them to quote for some additional works and will use again. High recommend Ashmark.

Was given comprehensive estimate and final settlement was exact amount. Very satisfied with workmanship, approachability of workers and general cleanliness. Cannot comment on value for money as whilst the job seemed costly the amount was much less than quoted by another local well known roofing company. Work was disrupted due to inclement weather but dry spells were fully utilised to complete the job. I chose this company on the basis of the WHICH? reputation and would certainly recommend as a trusted trader and am equally happy that the guarantee has real substance.
