I know from personal experience that, unless it is glaringly obvious, the cause of a dampness problem can be difficult to identify. We have had a long standing ugly but fairly minor dampness problem which we've spent a lot of money on trying to cure and baulked at spending ÔøΩ2k to have a stack taken down. We've subsequently used Tony to address this (which I'm satisfied now is a condensation issue) and another unrelated problem, and happily recommend him and his team.

We needed a small job doing to replace a cracked ridge tile and had one large quote beforehand then we were recommended Ashmark by a neighbour. They communicated promptly, came when they said they would, provided a quick and reasonable quotation and once we accepted it came quickly to complete the job leaving no mess.

Was given comprehensive estimate and final settlement was exact amount. Very satisfied with workmanship, approachability of workers and general cleanliness. Cannot comment on value for money as whilst the job seemed costly the amount was much less than quoted by another local well known roofing company. Work was disrupted due to inclement weather but dry spells were fully utilised to complete the job. I chose this company on the basis of the WHICH? reputation and would certainly recommend as a trusted trader and am equally happy that the guarantee has real substance.

Well I have waited over 2 months before leaving this review. But we finally had plenty of rain in May and which gave a thorough testing of Ashmark's roof repair and I am so relieved to be able to say there was no sign of the leak! So I am happy to give Ashmark a great review: their administration, quotations and invoices were prompt and accurate, their workmanship was professional, they left no mess, and worked with safety in mind and were friendly and informative.
