ASK Renewables were helpful during the review process and since installation. All members have been helpful and works completed by the agreed date and fee quoted. Would recommend should anyone be considering having solar installed.

Ask Renewables have recently installed solar panels and battery at my house. From the first phone call to the office with a general enquiry to the final paperwork for the local network operator they have been thoroughly professional and polite. I booked a survey and had a call from Louis to confirm my address. When he arrived there was no pressure at all. There were no ‘managers special deals’ or ‘ if you sign today you’ll have this price but tomorrow it’s going up’ . It was a relaxed chat and measure followed by a ‘I’ll sort your quote’ and email it to you in the next day or so when I’m back in the office. The quote came the next day and was similar to the ‘rough quote’ was when I first called the office and we agreed to proceed. We were surprised that they didn’t want a penny till we were happy with the job. On the agreed date (2 weeks after the quote) two workmen came and installed the system and explained how everything worked including sorting me out on the app to monitor the system. They really knew their job and were thoroughly professional. A few days later I had an email asking if everything was satisfactory and as it was they then invoiced me for the full amount which I happily paid as their price was considerably cheaper than some I’d looked at. Would I recommend Ask Renewables….yes without any hesitation

I had a 17 Panel system installed in April 2025. The enquiry/discussion/proposal phase was carried out with a good explanation of the various options in a very friendly manner. The proposal and pricing were attractive and so an order was placed. The installation plan was clearly laid out, and took place over one day without any problems. The installers explained what they were doing, and left the site tidy. The system was working that day. Post installation paperwork was handled efficiently by the office. Since that time the system has now worked flawlessly for over a year. By my calculations the PV generation over 12 months has been 28% higher than their pre-installation calculations. I have contacted the office several times to ask for advice about tariffs and getting an EV charger and they have been prepared to take the time to explain things to me, even though it did not directly relate to the original order. Overall - highly recommended.

Ask Renewables were fantastic from start to finish and took control of the logistical and administrative requirements of the installation. All the personnel we dealt with were honest, clear, knowledgeable, professional, efficient and reliable at every stage and provided excellent service and advice. The installation itself went smoothly and was completed in a meticulous fashion within a day. Especial thanks go to Samantha, Louis, Eddie, Karyn, Richard and Olly! The customer support provided after the installation has also been first class. We are delighted with our Sigenergy system which is working exactly as it should and is saving us lots of money. I was recommended Ask Renewables by friends and I can see why, from initial contact about my solar/battery requirements to install they were thorough, friendly a pleasure to work with. The survey was both extensive and thorough. The report and quote clear and again extensive. The scaffolding was erected, two days before the installation, by a polite and careful team of three. The installation took a day and the system was working by late afternoon. The team of three carried out their work with care and explained how it all worked including the app (which they set up with my wife too). They were polite and tidied up afterwards. The director, Tony, also visited the site check everything was OK. We received excellent customer support throughout, by phone or email The whole team were first class.

I cannot speak highly enough. I have 18 panels and a Sigenergy battery. They did me a number of quotes so that I could make an informed decision and the quotes were exceptionally detailed. There were no sales conversations, just fact based technical ones and no pressure at all. The quote is emailed after the site visit so you don’t have the awkwardness of someone at your house forever. The process is clearly documented and they did exactly as they said they would. Everything was organised for me from scaffolding to a run through of the app at the end. The fitters were amazing and even replaced two of my broken roof tiles! All the admin for getting everything registered is done for you and you even get a full printed pack of the certificates in the post a few weeks after the fitting date. I am so impressed and the panels are making loads of energy too! Thank you

Ask Renewables recently completed installation of solar and battery storage. They were a pleasure to deal with and the quality of their work is great. Would recommend them.

I first became aware of ASK Renewables through a video on Facebook (check it out). It promised honest, expert advice on solar panels and it certainly delivered. I contacted them immediately and this approach was carried on by their technical representative, Matt, who explained thoroughly how the system would operate and undertook a full site survey. Unlike other companies I had contacted, I was not pressured into signing a contract there and then. The installation was carried out by an extremely pleasant crew who explained exactly what they would be doing and, on completion, was professionally demonstrated by a member of the team. Since the installation, Matt has not disappeared and has kept in regular contact to ensure that I am getting maximum benefit from the system and already I have a vastly reduced monthly payment and am receiving credit for excess power exported back to the grid. I cannot fault this company, highly recommended.

Having contacted Ask Renewables for a quote for Solar Panels, battery system and Ev charger. Matt arrived at the time arranged and was excellent at explaining the system, possible savings and benefits of going solar. The quote was very competitive and we were happy to proceed with Ask Renewables. From initial contact to after sales support the whole process was very professional and knowledgeable with both Matt and Ed answering a number of questions regarding the EV charger and linking up to the grid. Had system installed around 4 weeks ago and could not be more pleased ,matt explained the best system to go for,installation team from scaffolders to the fitters,mark (roofer)also replaced cracked tiles and also pointed out ridge needs repairing ,not forgetting craig(electrician)andjosh (labourer)all friendly and helpful,upon talking to ed he kindly left scaffolding up so we could get ridge tiles repaired ,fitting is clean and looks proffesional,i have no hesitation in recommendind 'ask renewables'great company to deal with

Found Ask Renewables Ltd to be very friendly & extremely professional, from the start to finish of our homes new Solar & battery installation. I would throughly recommend Ask Renewables to anyone thinking of getting a new or updated Solar system installed. Their installation team even replace several of my cracked roof tiles, while carrying out the solar panel installation.

We had solar panels installed by Ask Renewables and we are 100% satisfied with the whole process. Matt and Ed were easy to deal with, very knowledgeable, and, moreover, good at explaining solar panels and how the whole system works. The quote was competitive and we feel very happy with the system installed. They dealt with all our questions and explained things we would not have thought of. We had some complexities associated with planning permission in a Conservation Area which they assisted with, and they came up with an alternative proposal once it became clear we could not install panels on our south facing slope. A further potential issue of possible asbestos in our roof tiles was speedily resolved and work scheduled and completed to our satisfaction. They took particular care to minimise inconvenience for our neighbours, on whose property scaffolding was required, which we much appreciated. We were impressed by the high health and safety standards adhered to for all the workers involved. The installation was speedy and with minimum mess. We are very glad we chose Ask Renewables, and continue to benefit from their advice and help as they provide excellent service after installation too. Highly recommended.

Having already spoken to another company and still being uncertain as to whether solar was right for us we spoke to Ask, who explained the processes, benefits and costs so much more clearly and were then available to answer any lingering questions we had. Their quote was more competitive than others we had obtained and we took the decision to go ahead following a meeting with Matt. The installation took place within 6 weeks, on the day scheduled and all the work was completed within hours to an excellent standard. Since then Ask Renewables have been in hand to help with any queries and to ensure that we are maximising the benefits of solar.

Right from the first meeting Matt showed us all the options available and gave a detailed description of how the system works and exactly what we could expect from the performance of the panels & batteries. He carried out a site survey (checking for tree blocks with line of shading etc.)of our property and then sent through a detailed competitive quotation. The whole team at Ask are very friendly and knowledgeable, and made the whole process very easy. Ed also visited to discuss the fitting and the fitting team of Craig & Mark were very professional, tidy and friendly also , and carried out the job in what I would say was a horrible wet day! There are many solar companies about, but ASK Renewables are the real deal! They have done a fantastic job, that was well supported both during and after, and they did it quickly, to the highest standards and were professional the whole time. Would highly recommend!

From first contact with ASK they stood out. Matt came to do the survey to see what was possible. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and demonstrated how the system worked using his home system as an example. Deano and his team were fabulous. Not only did they do a great job on the installation but also managed to help rescue a neighbours dog who had strayed! All the people I spoke to in the office following the installation were also very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They were a joy to deal with. We had our PV system installed in November 2025, and I can’t speak highly enough of the Ask team. From initial conversations with Matt about our needs, to the installation led by Ed and the follow up and support by Sam and the team afterwards, we’ve had an exceptional client experience. Everyone involved with Ask was very knowledgeable about the products and process, and they were keen to ensure we had a PV system that met our needs - the service focused on what we needed and not what they could sell us which was so refreshing. What really separated Ask from the competition was their time investment in getting to know our needs in detail, and explaining clearly how everything worked. We felt valued from day one, and felt like we had an advisor on hand. Our PV system is working fantastically (despite only having it through the winter months) and we’re so happy that we proceeded with our installation. Ask Renewables fitted our solar system in May 25 and it it now Jan 26, so it's a good time to look back. Everyone in the company seems to be an expert in their field. Matt initially did a remote feasibility assessment and followed this up with a visit and produced a detailed report. There was no pressure and he stressed that we would not be chased for a decision. I requested additional panels, extra batteries and bird guards. The report was quickly amended. The price seemed competitive. Scaffolding was fitted and the installers arrived a few days later. They were polite, quick, efficient and clearly highly experienced. We were soon saving money on our bills and exporting electricity to the grid. We have just paid our first joint electricity/gas bill since May, and this mostly due to winter gas usage. Great company, great products and impressive planning and installation.

We chose Ask from a friend’s recommendation. We were concerned that our slate roof would create difficulties and render solar panels impracticable. From the outset Matt was supportive. He came and had a look in the loft to confirm our suitability. He led us through the options available and their relative merits. Having a technology background I would have been aware of any attempt at massaging the figures but Matt was excellent in every regard. The quote was received a few days later and we were very pleased at the price quoted. Having accepted the quote there was a delay getting approval from Powergen for the installation. As soon as that came through we were given dates for installation. The install team were terrific. No mess, no beard scratching, just good professional craftsmanship. We have been delighted with the system and been amazed at how little sun gets the system charging. We are very excited at what it will do when we are not in the depths of Winter. We look at the app all the time to see how things are working. Great system, fabulous install team, excellent communications. What’s not to like. Would I recommend them? Unreservedly.

I am 81 years old and have had a lifetime’s experience of customer service - good, bad and indifferent. My experience with Ask Renewables rates alongside the very best. From start to finish they were excellent. I am delighted they were recommended to me and I cannot recommend them highly enough to others.

I was very nervous about choosing the right supplier for my solar panels and battery and spent quite a chunk of time choosing a partner that would give me good advice and not let me down. In the end I narrowed it down to three providers, a large energy firm, a recently bought out independent firm and a truly independent trader Ask Renewables. Ask and one other did a site visit whilst the large energy supplier used Google maps to assess the property. Ask were by far the most thorough and Matt the consultant gave me solid advice which in the end made me spend less money than I was expecting and gave me everything I was looking for. The installation was pretty seamless and whilst there was a small hitch with the panels I am pleased to say that it was sorted on the next working day with Ed keeping me fully informed. The end result is very neat and tidy and I am really pleased with the outcome. What’s more I know that Ask Renewables will be there to support me on an ongoing basis to make sure that the tariff is right and I am getting the most out of the system. So for me a 5 star rating for the people, the panels, the batteries, the installation and the ongoing support. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
