ASK renewables have installed solar panels and battery on our home. We were seriously impressed by all the personnel. The surveyor was prompt, efficient and courteous, but most significantly not pushy and happy to wait several weeks until we had time to get comparable quotes. The installation team were very good, experienced and efficient. Finally the communications, app explanation, and handling of the transactions plus handover packs was done with refreshing courtesy. It was also most reassuring to note how much any after sales support was stressed to be available, if it be needed. The effectiveness of the generation will need to be assessed after 12 months of operation, but I am optimistic. I can recommend this company without reservation.

Five start service every step of the way! Everything was communicated in a professional and friendly manner. The install team were amazing, and even though it started raining heavily in the afternoon, they went the extra mile to ensure everything was finished, and especially that I was happy with everything before they left. The after service has been great too, with training in the software provided over teams. Sam and Tony run a great company, can't thank them enough.

ASK Renewables installed an array of solar panels on my roof, along with a battery and inverter inside my house. From first to last they have been brilliant, going the extra mile at all times. When I first contacted them, they were too busy to take the job immediately, but took the time to phone me, talk through the details of what I wanted and answer every question I could think of. When they were ready to take the job they sent a surveyor (not a salesman as other companies did) who was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I never felt under any pressure (as, again, I did with other companies). They took the time to plan the project properly and cost it out for me, it wasn't a back-of-an-envelope deal. The work was done promptly and punctually, I was kept informed at all times, and everyone I came into contact with was friendly, helpful, respectful, and hardworking. The actual job took under a day to complete, and I couldn't be happier. The ASK Renewables team is still available at the end of the phone and have been wonderfully patient and supportive as I get used to the system. To add to all that, the price was more reasonable than anything I was offered by any other company. I'd recommend them to anyone - in fact I have been recommending them to friends already. They're an excellent company.

Sam and Tom are an amazing team dedicated to bringing renewables into our reach. They had time to answer questions and were clear in their explanations. There was no pressure selling at all - just good clear information. They installed solar panels with a battery back up on two of our properties with as much disruption as a cat sleeping in front of a warm fire! Their aftercare is also first class and one of their experts, Tony, put on a brilliant face-to-face education session on understanding the online monitoring of the performance of the panels as well as explaining how to get the best value from them. when it comes to solar panels don't ask for anyone else, ask renewables.

I contacted Ask Renewables for a quotation for solar panels, plus battery storage because of its "Which? Trusted Traders" status. I wasn't disappointed. Every aspect of the service provided was top class: initial email/telephone communication; quality of advice during the initial survey; follow-up communication; efficiency of installation (10 panels plus battery storage all in one day); after-sales support (I had a few technical questions about the app). I was so impressed with my initial contact, survey and quote that I didn't even bother to get a quotation from another company. 8 months on I'm really happy with the installation. There have been no problems and I'm saving a significant amount of money in terms of electricity costs. I wish I'd done it years ago. I've arranged for additional battery storage to be added later this month so that my savings will be even greater this year. TIP: Pay extra for micro-inverters and go for the maximum battery storage.

After being quoted by a few different companies for Tesla, GivEnergy and Sunsync products, we decided to go with Tom Matthews at Ask Renewables & the Luxpower system. Tom/Ask Renewables were the only company that came well prepared to answer questions (with datasheets, etc), carry out a roof inspection and a shading analysis. Tom designed a system to our specific requirements which was a high kw inverter that could do a full house back-up during a power cut. After taking a couple of months for our DNO to be approved by Northern PowerGrid, Ask Renewables were quick to come and fit our system once we got the go-ahead. The site installers, Dino and Liam, came and did a neat and tidy job. The system has not disappointed at all. By strange coincidence we have had 2 3-hour power cuts since the install date and we were able to carry on as normal during these outages. We are taking advantage of charging the batteries during the Octopus Flux cheap rate and discharging them during the Octopus Flux peak rate. I want to thank the team at Ask Renewables (Tom, Samantha, Karyn, Dino & Liam) for supplying the system. Also, special thanks to Ed who has supported us after installation and has quickly dealt with any issues we have had.

Great experience with Ask Renewables from start to finish. Matt took time to help us decide on the best system for our household, provided a competitive quotation and has given good post installation advice. The installation team were friendly and efficient. After researching solar panels and providers I opted for South Yorkshire based company ASK Renewables. Not the cheapest but excellent reviews. Also they did not use Tesla batteries ( I refuse to buy from that company due to its founder!) From the initial phone call to the final follow up the service from ASK has been exemplary. My main contact, Tom, is knowledgeable and explains things well. He is easy to contact and I felt reassured at every stage. I have waited 9 months to review to make sure everything was working well; it is. Tom has been a great help after installation in helping me to get the most out of the panels and how I utilise them. Very time a date was given for survey, scaffolding or installation they were here on time. The installation crew were great. They were friendly and tidy. I was amazed at Liam's agility and skill doing all the roof work. Dino who was the electrician who installs the inverter and batteries explained everything well and did a very tidy job. He set the system up as well as helping me to sort out the LuX Power App. Ask also have the ability to see how the units are working which was reassuring. I then changed easily to a power company that provides an excellent tariff for exploring any excess electricity. Having just compared my Nov-Jan usage for last 3 years our import of electricity, even in these winter months was down 25% . In Summer it was much higher and I had a net gain on my electricity bills; in peak 2 months, using 90% solar.

This company provided and excellent service and took great pains to ensure that the installation was as we desired. We had a battery fail after a couple of weeks and the company came out within a few days and provided us with a new one. I would highly recommend this service

I obtained several quotes for a Solar PV System, however Ask Renewables was one of the few that actually wanted to come out and do a site visit. Their surveyor Matt visited and discussed at length my options and the costings involved, he then went away and produced some full written proposals for me to decide on. These were left with me, with no pressure to buy etc. having compared the quotes and services provided, I had no hesitation in opting for Ask Renewables, their service was far superior and the quote very reasonable. The process of getting National Grid approval etc was then completed and a fitting date agreed. On the fitting day the team of two arrived and efficiently set about the process of installing the system, both were efficient and friendly. Within 5 or 6 hours the system was fully installed and fully working. Within a few days the commissioning pack and certificates arrived. Ask Renewables were professional throughout and gave a service second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I am extremely please and satisfied with the solar panel and battery installation provided by ASK Renewables. The company were excellent from the time Tom carried out an assessment to the time completed by Deano and the team and managed and updated by Ed. The commitment from all was fantastic throughout and great attitude by all the team in every field from management, engineers and admin. Sam in the office on completion was very quick to apply for all national grid paperwork and also to return to me to enable me to submit my export tariff to my supplier. The quality is evident in their excellent workmanship warranty and TrustMark certification. I would have no hesitation in recommended these guys to install at your property. Deano job was made more difficult as we needed to install in the kitchen. Tom found a suitable location were we had a 600mm wide larder unit and Deano was able to install the converter and batteries all into a 600mm tall larder unit and now it has been refitted you would not know the inverter and the panels where in the kitchen. After refitting the unit I sent Ask remewables the completed photos so you could ask them what the finished install looks like and how well it is hidden

From knowing very little about solar, Matt was a source of comfort and part of our journey into the renewable energy world. No questions went unanswered. Matt took the time to explain in detail all aspects of solar energy systems and the various options available to us. He enabled us to work out the pro's and con's of the different configurations and to arrive at a solution that satisfies our current requirements and to allow for growth should we choose to expand. Despite encountering a setback on the day of installation, Ed, Samantha, and Deano worked efficiently to rectify the issue and put us at ease. In our dealings with the entire team at Ask Renewables we found them to be honest, reliable and they operate with integrity. Having now joined the Solar community, we are still very much learning about our power consumption and the most effective configuration of our solar system. Once again, Matt in particular and the whole team have made themselves available to assist with any questions we may have in the aftercare period.

Ask visited my house and recommended more panels and a larger battery than another company that only looked at the house on google. Although installation took longer than initially planned (hard to fit on an old roof), we were kept informed and the cost did not change. Advice on tarriffs and setup willing given by phone after installation. Very pleased with the result, getting a good return on the investment.

I started out by getting 3 quotes from companies using Tier 1 materials. All came in about the same price so went with Ask renewables on recommendation. Tom called out to see me and designed the scheme. The fitting team of Deano the electrician, his son and Liam the roofer were superb. Really tidy,care to my property and worked well together to complete the work. I install double glazing and I realise it can be difficult to trust a company you don't know. Care of the customer .care of the property and quality are all paramount. You will not be let down by Ask renewables. Thanks to Ed and the team from a higher delighted customer. Ask Renewables have been absolutely professional, organised and clear in all our discussions and dealings. Many companies try to blind you with information about solar energy, ask renewables and in particular Matt Neild made sure the information was clear and accessible. The installation was quick, no fuss and no mess, the post sales support has been phenomenal. I couldn't recommend Ask Renewables highly enough as being best on the market for speed, quality, price and customer support.

Excellent service from initial quote to on going support, advised on the best system for my needs, could have pushed me towards more expensive but didn't. Installed an excellent up to date system including batteries, installation very rapid and professional and all necessary paperwork supplied.

Chipping Village Hall in Lancashire investigated getting a solar PV and battery installation in 2024 aided by grant funding. We approached 3 companies and ASK Renewables were by far the most responsive. Matt was willing to estimate the costs/benefits of different numbers of panels and amount of battery storage which none of the other companies was prepared to do. ASK handled the dealings with the DNO and provided lots of information for our planning application. The work was carried out quickly and carefully without impacting our business. We are starting to see the benefits of the installation in the last couple of months particularly. Overall savings on our electricity bills are nearly £900 in 4 months. The price for the installation was very competitive.

Great service from start to finish. We received a detailed survey from Matt who was very professional and informative. There was no hard selling and i believed that the quote would come back much higher than the other quotes I had received due to how professional and well informed they were. I was lukily wrong and the price was very competative. The installation was booked in and they turned up and installed on the agreed date. The installation team were again very friendly and explained how everything works including the app and the best settings to use. The after service has been great with Matt calling me to go through all my system and how it has been performing. Would highly reccomend.

This was our second solar install with Ask Renewables. Once again they've been absolutely excellent. We chose them as they did a really careful on site survey with Matt, who took exceptional care to review the location, decide on the best solution, and present us with the right options. We ended up with a very smart Hanchu solar/battery/gateway system. The office team of Karyn and Samantha managed all the essential paperwork really efficiently and were super-quick to answer questions. The install team turned up on time and did a perfect job, with a quick and tidy fit. Even the scaffolding firm they use round us were really nice guys. Ed managed the install from the office and kept us informed throughout. Highly recommend this firm.

We tried 3 different PV suppliers and installers. ASK were by far the best. The design was perfect for what we need, and the installation was smooth, efficient and expertly handled. The price was also reasonable (although the main consideration for us was a sensible design for us). The kit they use is modular which allows us to extend/replace in future if needed. I could just tell from the no-nonsense discussions I've had with a few members of the team that they know their stuff, are straight talking and just want to provide an excellent service, providing top quality kit. I would highly recommend.

The whole team was excellent and knew how to design a brilliant system. There was continuous support throughout, and they took the time to understand what we wanted and needed. The installation was smooth, and the end result is of incredibly high quality. Would definitely recommend.

From first contact with ASK they stood out. Matt came to do the survey to see what was possible. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and demonstrated how the system worked using his home system as an example. Deano and his team were fabulous. Not only did they do a great job on the installation but also managed to help rescue a neighbours dog who had strayed! All the people I spoke to in the office following the installation were also very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They were a joy to deal with. A special mention to Sam also as she patiently pointed me in the right direction with my energy provider. Thank you Sam. All in all this company should be proud of their customer service. They provided exactly what they said they would. On time, tidy install and a pleasure to trade with. I would very much recommend them to anyone considering having solar fitted.

Found Ask Renewables Ltd to be very friendly & extremely professional, from the start to finish of our homes new Solar & battery installation. I would throughly recommend Ask Renewables to anyone thinking of getting a new or updated Solar system installed. Their installation team even replace several of my cracked roof tiles, while carrying out the solar panel installation.

This company have been great. I found them through the which and mcs referral process. And they have come in with an open and honest approach to my needs and wants for renewable energy. They could have sold the most expensive product to me but I appreciated that they told me wot I would need based on my property and my individual needs. They told through the whole process and explained all in a very easy to understand way. And they were able to fit solar panels quickly and efficiently. They have also been very good with aftercare process so far.
