Aspect Decorating

WE HAVE USED RICHARD RIPLEY OF ASPECT DECORATING ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS FOR BOTH EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL WORK. HE HAS TWICE REPAINTED THE OUTSIDE OF OUR HOUSE. THE SECOND TIME WAS THIS MONTH, JULY, A TASK THAT TOOK HIM, AS FORECAST, A WEEK - HE COULD NOT START THE JOB EARLIER BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC. INTERNALLY, HE HAS REDECORATED FOUR ROOMS, ONE OF WHICH INCLUDED THE REMOVAL OF A FIREPLACE AND CHIMNEY BREAST. HE HAS COMPLETED ALL THE WORK CAREFULLY, PRECISELY, WITHIN TIME AND ON BUDGET (HIS COSTS ARE VERY REASONABLE). I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING HIM. HIS WORK IS COMMENDABLE.

Rich has worked with me on two projects now. Both have been full refurbishments of large victorian houses. Preparing and finishing the decorating of all internal walls, ceilings, cornicing and woodwork. Plus all external masonary work, as shown in his gallery of the blue and white house. In the time I've known him, four months in total, I've learned that he is incredibly hard working and that his finish is to the very highest standard possible. His work ethic is unparalleled in my thirty five years of experience, working in the commercial and private sectors of the building industry. He is reliable, polite, punctual without fail, patient and professional enough to not get in the slightest bit agitated when, having made a beautiful job of top coating the woodwork in an entire room, skirtings, architraves and doors, one of the other trades does something in an adjacent area to cover his fresh paint with a coating of dust! He calmly rectified the whole problem the next day, without even anything that resembled a groan or moan........and not once in all that time did he answer his mobile phone to anyone while working! He is quite simply the cream of the crop. I have to confess to feeling quite annoyed that one of his reviewers chose only to give him four stars for each category, even though she was obviously as over the moon with his work as all the other reviewers, myself included. Five stars is the honest reflection of Richard as a tradesman, well done, an example to all.

Richard has done a really excellent job of repainting the front and back of our house, including replacement of blown putty and repairing of some rotted joinery. Punctual, reliable, polite and hardworking, he left no mess and even cleaned all our windows!

Richard has just painted the outside of my house and I have been very impressed with his thorough preparation, attention to detail and beautiful final finish. And all at a very reasonable price. He is without doubt the best decorator I have ever used and I have already asked him to paint 2 living rooms. I would absolutely recommend him.

Our whole studio was decorated by Richard inside and out, to a very high standard. The work was carried out professionally, on time and with great attention to detail. We would recommend Richard without hesitation and will certainly be using him again in the future! Thank you!
