Asset Lofts

Assets were a very good company to deal with and were excellent in terms of customer service, advice and direction. Our adjoining neighbours were displeased with the scaffolders and it lent on their property without consultation. Assets were able to resolve this effectively, which was good. They completed a loft conversion for us on a 3 bed semi. The work took 3 weeks longer than expected but this was not a problem. The work was of good quality, however we were not impressed with the electrician as he and the project manager did not communicate effectively which meant holes were made in the new walls which needed to be repaired and the a light was missing. It was rectified but could have been avoided. The project manager was very good and was able to adjust the designs to enable better use of space at no extra cost, which was excellent. The work damaged the bay window fascia which was not picked up until after the scaffolding came down. I did not feel assets took the appropriate responsibility and I was asked to pay extra for this and felt this was unfair at the time. However, in hindsight I should have made more of a fuss with this. There were some changes to the original design and some additional extras which were reasonable added prices. Overall, we are very happy with the finished product and end result. I would use Assets again and be happy to have them do more work with us.

Asset Lofts (Terry and team) were brilliant. The converted half a double garage into a utility room with pasterboard and plastered stud walls and ceiling, fully fireproofed. The floor was sealed and raised with full insulation and an electric heated floor fitted that I then had tiled. Terry spec'd the job and gave a fair quote and started on tine as agreed. His main builder, Shane, was superb, full of creative suggestions, and he and his team worked professionally - the trades he brought in (carpenter, plumber and electrician) were the same. Highly recommend.

We chose Asset Lofts to do these works as right from the very beginning they were very professional and demonstrated a clear understanding of our requirements from day one. John and his team were absolutely great throughout the project, we were kept informed of progress while on holiday and any issues were quickly communicated. The guys regularly cleaned up at the end of the day minimising the amount of dust etc as best possible. The work was carried out efficiently and without any major problems which is credit to the Asset Lofts team. The quality of work is to a high standard, so we are delighted with the finish we have been able to achieve. I would certainly recommend Asset Lofts!

Our loft conversion went brilliantly thanks to Charlie, John, and the fantastic team at Asset Lofts. Right from initial design through to the last bits they really cared about our experience and took such pride in their work. The whole team was friendly and professional, lovely to our son, and genuinely cared. There were no surprises with invoices, any extra costs were discussed and we were given options of how to proceed. Really happy with their transparency and the extra effort to keep us in the loop. When the pandemic kicked off they were brilliant at keeping in touch and they came back to finish as soon as it was safe, we felt really lucky to be in such safe hands during that time. The loft has been finished to such a high standard and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Asset Lofts to anybody thinking about a loft conversion.

Over the moon with the kitchen that was recently installed by Graham Aldons on behalf of Asset Lofts. Graham and his team fitted my entire kitchen from the electrics, flooring, appliances, cupboards and everything was done to the highest standards. They were reliable and totally committed to the job which is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend Asset Lofts to anyone that needs reliable, top-rate builders.

Very happy with the team from Asset who built our loft extension, friendly bunch of lads who got the work done super quick despite the blistering heat. Kept informed throughout, whatsapp group came in very handy. Only regret is not showing them what we'd purchased from the bathstore resulting in an electric mirror not being wired in at the time, our oversight though, but would recommend getting the building team lead to check up on things like this.

My 4 bedroom refurbishment along with a hip to gable loft conversation started in September 2014 and completed in December 2015 as planned. The whole team of Asset lofts, from the planning department, guys on site, third party trades man, and Terry orchestrating the project end to end made the experience more comfortable. The after service of these type of works are crucial for me hence I have reposted a review. Over the last Five years, a few minor issues had come up and always at the wrong time. That didn’t stop Terry from taking and responding to my messages. Which were quickly delegated to his team to contact me to arrange a convenient time to visit and resolve the issue. Terry has proved to me that he is accountable for the work carried out. Asset Lofts, can be trusted on the high quality of workmanship, professional conduct with customers and certainly make good on the guarantee for the after service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them 🤝
