Asset provided architectural drawings and did the build for our loft conversion - a new bedroom and shower room. We had John’s team work the job and I would thoroughly recommend them. John, Joe and the team were reliable and considerate throughout. They didn’t cut corners, involved us in the decisions and made helpful recommendations. Despite some of the supplier issues due to lockdown, they were still able to source supplies and there was minimal disruption to the work. All snagging was dealt with efficiently. The guys were real professionals and it was a pleasure getting to know them.

We are delighted with the work and support asset lofts has provided over 3 years. In that time, asset lofts provided architectural support and building work to undertake two extensions (double story front extension adding a bedroom) and rear extension (extending out the main bedroom and adding an en-suite bathroom). Internally, our house has been transformed to open plan living on the ground floor and asset lofts supplied the kitchen as well. The team’s workmanship, project and budgetary management was meticulous. I have used other builders and tradespeople over the years but I will never use anyone else now. The proof is in the pudding and our house is now beautiful and much improved from before the works.

From the first meeting, I had confidence in Asset Lofts. I received a quote very quickly which was very easy to understand and covered all elements of the work required. I then met the team running the project who again were very professional and talked me through the process and how they could achieve the very tight time frame I gave them as my tenant was leaving the country for 3 weeks to get married. We had weekly progress meetings on site and spoke on the phone if there were any decisions that needed answering during the build. The project was completed on time and on budget. I was extremely impressed with the way they kept the neighbours happy and were supplied with teas and coffees by them during the build. A fantastic experience and would definitely use them again.

I had an outstanding experience working with Asset Loft on my rear extension and ground floor refurbishment project. From start to finish, the professionalism and support provided by Terry and his team were exceptional. Asset lofts were great. This is the second time I've used them for work. We had John and Joe as our primary builders and they were excellent. The whole team were friendly and professional throughout. They were patient with our "good ideas" and really supportive in bringing them to life. Communication was clear, particularly when our changes attracted any additional costs, and we felt fully involved in the project from design through to completion and were very happy with the finished work.

John and the team were brilliant. We have a loft room with en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe and it’s far greater than anything we could have imagined. Asset Loft are great and I would recommend them hands down over anyone else. They are very professional, friendly and quick to overcome issues and provide solutions to things.

Asset Lofts were excellent. From the outset, they demonstrated they were a professional company. Terry and Charlie provided their company's credentials and references and gave us a competitive and detailed quote. Asset offered a complete service from design to gaining planning permission, right through to completing the build. Crucially, they provided a dedicated team for our job. Wes and co were a pleasure to have on site. Friendly, always polite and communicative, they gave advice, provided excellent workmanship, with no question or problem too big or small. We had a front extension (adding a bedroom) and a rear extension (replacing a conservatory) done by Asset Lofts. From the outset, their professionalism was evident, with Terry, the owner, taking the time to provide a quotation based on our exact requirements and arranging visits to other clearly happy customers. The job itself took just over 4 months in two phases to complete by Wes and his team. They were courteous and careful, and always cleaned up after themselves. Along the way, we had to make a change to the plans, they kept the costs competitive without compromising quality.I had heard horror stories about problems that crop up that cause stress and costs. And we did have one major problem! Just as the project was completed, we discovered a leak stemming from the wet room. The guys were quick to investigate and took full responsibility when they realised it was a defective joint in the pipework. The concrete was dug up and the problem rectified, and then the flooring re-laid anew at no extra cost. That’s precisely the peace of mind you want in a construction project where anything can happen. By the way, I’d recommend taking photos during the construction work – this can be helpful if there is ever an issue or if you just want to be sure you’re not going to drill in the wrong place in future!The team were backed up by Charlie who was attentive and very helpful with direct assistance and recommendations when we wanted other bits of work done. We commissioned Asset Lofts to build our loft conversion to add another bedroom with en-suite in 2022. To get to crux to why you’re reading this: Q: Would I recommend them? A: YES. Q: Would I use them again? A: YES. A little about our Project Our home was built in 1969 and is a two floor (now three) an end of terrace with a simple pitched roof. We required a simple roof dormer to the rear and everything you need for a new bedroom with en-suite. Of course I had to make it more complicated which Asset Lofts was happy to work with. Did everything go to plan, no, but everything ended up good in the end. What went wrong, really only a bunch of small delays here and there, which were all caused by the third parties I brought into the project and a little rain because I didn’t get a tin hat roof on the scaffolding… why o why didn’t I choose to get a tin hat. We commissioned our own architect and structural engineers to draw up our plans, in hindsight I wish didn’t, they cause small delays communicating. We had to remove the chimney breast which I was happy to see go, and I took to opportunity to install a smart hot water cylinder on the first floor but that’s other contractor I added into the mix. We already had a solar PV array on the front roof that I required removing and reinstalling after the roof was re-felted, re-battened and relayed with the old tiles, and Asset Lofts was more than happy to accommodate my Solar contractors requirements around sca

Overall very happy with work. Converted an empty unused space into a work office approximately 2.5m wide by 3.3m long. Creating space away from the rest of the household. Pleased with my bright new space.

Asset Lofts turned our loft space into two lovely rooms for our girls with a bathroom included as well!! We can't believe how much space has been achieved. They turned the work around in a matter of weeks and all done to a professional standard. We could not recommend them enough.

My first venture into the building world and luckily I found Asset Lofts. The whole experience has been so much better than I expected. I converted my garage to a large utility/storage room and in front I added a large entrance room. I used Asset Lofts for all the work including architect's drawings and planning permission which made my life easier. From meeting Charlie, who presented the company exceedingly (and accurately) well to Shane and his team who worked on the building and everything that involved, everyone was so helpful and professional and I felt in safe hands. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone starting a building project.
