Ian and Jack turned up spot on time, both very friendly and cheerful, cracked on straight away even though the track was very heavy. Every step was explained professionally and exact, the use of the equipment was gone through from start to finish. Jack even answered my front door to a friend. No mess at all, everything taken away. The device works perfectly, no issues. I would have no problem recommending this company highly to anyone at all. However, neither of them had tea or coffee or biscuits 🤔 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

From start to finish this company came over as being professional Starting with the original enquiry when I spoke with a human being and not a machine, the person who turned up on time and gave the quotation. Almost finishing with the 2 young men who did the installation and who left no mess at all and gave us very clear instructions on how to use the stairlift. And finally when I did have trouble operating it I called up the company and they talked me through what I had done wrong and got me going again. It works really well and these are good people to do business with

My daughter and I called into their premises without a prior appointment and were shown a range of stairlifts by a very nice lady, who was warm and welcoming. She discussed the options to ensure that the stairlift would meet my personal needs and was able to quote a price. An appointment was made for our stairs to be measured. The man who came was helpful and discussed a date for the fitting, on a date which was suitable to me. The fitter arrived at the time arranged and after fitting it, explained how to use it. He tided up after himself and he too was very polite and helpful. I am extremely pleased with the stairlift and can highly recommend this company.

Very reliable from start to finish. Everyone very helpful on the telephone answering my questions. I was kept up-to-date at every stage of the job. I live 200 miles away from my parents, so I was organising everything from a distance. The installation of a Stair Lift couldn't have gone better. Initially emailed Associated Stairlifts on a Sunday to enquire about the possibilities of having rental stairlift for my 91 year old mother. I receive an email back the next day and a telephone call from Eve. Eve was very friendly and polite and extremely helpful. She talked me through the options and pricing, explaining things clearly. Having arranged to supply measurements and some photographs, Eve contacted me again upon receipt of them and after confirming things with one of the engineers a date for the installation. The whole process from enquiry to installation took no more than 10 days. The fitting was carried out in a timely manner with no mess and very promptly. We were extremely pleased with the service we received. The lift is running smoothly and my mother is finding it easy to operate. My wife had an unexpected stay in hospital and now needs help to climb the stairs. After a frustrating time contacting the usual big name companies I did some Googling and found Associated Stairlifts. What a difference, I visited the showroom and all the various options were clearly shown, my options discussed and the equipment demonstrated. There was no pressure and the pricing was clearly laid out. After confirming the details with my wife an order was placed and installation was scheduled for the following week. The engineer was helpful, competent and explained everything to me. He cleaned up and there was no mess left. It has been a trying time but Associated Stairlifts were courteous, professional supportive and did what they said they would do, all for a very reasonable price. Service as it should be. After a road accident, I needed a temporary stairlift while my legs heal. I chose Associated Stairlift because they were helpful and professional from the start. Their rates for rental are very competitive and the lift was fitted within a few days. Great service and helpful staff at every stage, highly recommended.

Telephoned Associated Stairlifts to discuss possibilities of having rental stairlift and the lady at the end of the phone was extremely helpful. A date was fixed for survey in a short space of time. Survey carried out to my satisfaction and a date for fitting in less than week was arranged. The fitting was carried out in a timely manner with no mess and very promptly. The time had come where a stairlift would enhance my mobility within my home. I took my time to research different company’s and read all small print in the details. I booked some different companies to assist in my decision. I knew what questions should be asked by the company’s I had invited to assist in my purchase. I was surprised that not all the information was straight forward a straight answer would have been the knowledge that was required of the salesman. The variation of different quotes for same product puzzles me as they had to think about price not the right feedback I was expecting and the various questions that were not addressed fully. So when the gentleman from associated stairlifts came to our home straight away he introduced himself told us about his company was very knowledgeable and consistent in his answers. I had done my research into stairlifts and was amazed at the full level of knowledge he had picking up small problems that needed slight adjustment. The way the gentleman knew straight of his head the way the stair lift would fit. It was a really great incentive to listen to him and knew he was a dedicated and professional company. We knew within a few minutes of being in our home we would be happy to have his company install our new stair lift. He chatted about everything his knowledge was truly positive and this is because he was very passionate about getting me the right product. Asking about price straight off the top head no need for pen paper.

We cannot be happier with the service we received from Associated Stairlifts. During all our contacts with the office staff we were met with nothing but patience, understanding and the reassurances we needed to guide us, as a family, through this totally unfamiliar situation. Within two days, the surveyor, Rob, did just that, a site survey with no hard sell, just treating my father with the kindness and patience he deserves in his own home. Only two weeks later the installation engineer, Ian, worked wonders to quickly install the stairlift within two hours. He explained how to use the lift clearly and tidied up after he had finished, taking any rubbish with him. My father is a completely different person with his independence restored!! From the first contact they were efficient and helpful, they were able to fit the curved stairlift only a week or so after I enquired, the workmen were quick and tidied up afterwards. And good value for money. Thanks for a great service.

After my father passed away we needed to have a stairlift removed. Most firms, including the original installers, wanted to charge for this. After a little searching I established contact with Belle who simply asked for some pictures and basic details from which she confirmed that free removal could be arranged, and that I would receive a payment as well. An appointment was made and Jack turned up promptly. He politely and efficiently removed the stairlift, ready for it to go and serve someone else in the future. By the time I returned home the money had already been paid to my account. Excellent communication and service throughout all our dealings.

Recommended by a neighbour the stairlift is exactly what we wanted. The self service measurement option meant that we only required one visit. The installer was very helpful with some detail we required. Reasonably priced and folding neatly away when not in use means that the stairs can used as normal if required. We are very pleased with the result and highly recommend Associated Stairlifts.

When I first enquired about a stairlift the receptionist was most helpful guiding me through the various options available. When Andy came out to measure up he again went through the process of fitting and what to expect. The day that it was fitted went really smoothly and the technician ensured that I was confident in using it. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I found Associated stairlift on the Internet. I was looking to buy one, but for the option to rent I rang the company. The receptionist was very very helpful. Explained the process of renting and what the price range was. I was told that if I wanted to, I’m so confident I could use a guide to measure the stairlift and also advised to take some pictures. She also explained that if I was not confident in this, they will send an engineer to measure it, I’ve done it myself and reception said the engineer would bring two different lengths of truck. Associated Stairlifts could not have been more helpful when we were deciding on a stairlift for my mother. They provided great advice and although quite a complicated installation due to two curves, they were sure they could help. The installers had a 7 hour round trip, and the installation was done in about 2.5 hours. They were really quick, friendly and made no mess at all. I would definitely recommend them.

My elderly father required a stair lift fitting asap. I contacted Associated stairlifts and a well known National company and the service, customer care, value for money and approach from Associated stairlifts, in comparison to the other company, left my father and I in no doubt that he should rent a stairlift from them. Excellent value for money (unlike the well known other company) and even better, no hard sell from the first phone call I made to Associated stairlifts and also when Andy (who owns the company) come to measure up and discuss the best options. Appointment to measure up was this Wednesday then fitting and installation 2 days later (today). Rory who installed it today was extremely professional, polite and efficient, working quickly but then taking as much time as my father needed afterwards to try out the lift and ensure he felt confident and comfortable using it. It is such a refreshing change to deal with a company that genuinely cares for and puts their customers first. Thank you, my father is now much safer, comfortable and confident in his own home.

I have to say that it's great to get a company that do what they say. From my first phone contact with them until work completed they were first class. The lady I spoke with gave me all the info we needed. The price quoted was the price we paid. No hidden costs. We decided to rent the stairlift for my 94 year old father. After we made that decision we were visited by an engineer who took the measurements and told us exactly what the cost would be. It was the same as the lady I spoke to initially. Within a week of the engineer visiting dads stairlift was up and running. The fitters were great just got on with the job and took their time to explain everything about the stairlift to my father. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a stairlift.

From the very start, I knew had made the right choice. Installation completed in an hour. Everything simply explained. Couldn't be happier.

As soon as I knew I would have to have a hip replacement I began to investigate whether it was possible to hire a stair lift. I was very impressed with Associated Stairlifts and the information they gave me. Once I had a date for the operation I contacted them again and they arranged to send a surveyor. This was a very good thing as it turned out that my stairs are narrower than normal, and I had to have a special lift with a frame at the back, allowing me to stand rather than sitting. The installation went well on the date arranged, and after the operation, I found it a godsend as my stairs are steep and I don't think I could have managed without it. The lift has now been taken away as I no longer need it.

Jack and Kieran our stairlift engineers were on time, and completed the task within the stated time. They were polite, courteous and helpful. They left the area of work clean and tidy. An explanation of how the stairlift operated was thorough and concise and we were delighted with the whole operation.

We needed a stairlift installed at quite short notice. I made the enquiry on Monday and the installation was completed on Thursday of the same week. The self service measurement option on the website meant that we only needed one visit. What an supportive and can do company they are. Trying to get consent for getting a stair lift fitted from social housing was a challenge but this company went the extra mile to get it all done. I needed a stairlift quickly and they did it. I cant express how efficient and caring they have been throughout the whole process. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were superb.

Associated Stairlifts made the installation of our unit simple, straightforward and stress-free. The office manager, company boss and fitting engineer all worked together to answer my questions promptly, suggest different fitting options and install the lift with the minimum of fuss and bother. The engineer called us thirty minutes before arrival, installed the unit within an hour and a half, gave us a helpful demonstration, answered our questions and that was it. Less than three weeks from initial inquiry to installation. My partner and I are very pleased!

I was recommended Associated Stair Lifts Ltd by an Occupational Therapist at East Surrey Hospital back in 2018 as his father in law had used them previously. Having called them, a stairlift was delivered and installed promptly and proved to be a life saver, allowing me to transport my mother up and down stairs. I found the company to be both prompt and helpful in all aspects of their service during the past four years and would have no problem in highly recommending them whether renting or buying. Unfortunately due to my mother being bedbound there is no longer a requirement but in a personal way I am sad to see it go.

Called to get an estimation on cost for a rental stairlift for my mum and cannot fault the service at all. They came out to measure up within a couple of days of my initial contact and fitted the stairlift a week later. My mum is very happy with the service and commented how polite the installation man was and how tidy! would recommend 100% - thank you.

Just had this lift installed as I needed one urgently for my wife Contacted several NHS suggested suppliers who didn’t impress over the phone, then after doing my own research discovered Associated Stairlifts. Initial phone contact was polite & informative & emailed a brochure immediately. The site survey was arranged for the following Tuesday & the stairlift fitting on Thursday if I so wished. It all went like clockwork. So in 7 days from initial contact to fitting ( with a weekend in between) it was all done. Polite informative staff, expert fitter. All businesses should be this good. Impressive!

Very efficient company and reasonable prices. The initial contact on 03/10/2022, was excellent, very knowledgeable sales support. Two days later Andy did a site survey and explained all options clearly, and I placed an order for a nearly new refurbished stairlift for £1250. Six days later the stairlift was installed by Rory. He was a very efficient worker and left the stairs spotless after installation. After my excellent experience with Associated Stairlifts would recommend this company to anyone.

Our engineer, Luke, could not have been more efficient or professional. He carried out a brilliant service on my refurbished chairlift and was able to answer all my questions, as well as offering advice should I need to turn off the machine to enable household electrical work to be undertaken. The stairlift fitters arrived on time to fit my Flow X stairlift. They were very personable and professional and carried out the work quietly and proficiently. I was given thorough instructions on how to operate the stairlift and given the opportunity to try it out before they left and ask as many questions as I needed to. This is definitely the company to use if you want efficient & effective customer service & action. In a little over 48 hrs, my rental stairlift has been fitted & I am finally able to get up & downstairs after a skiing accident left me badly injured. The engineer came to remove a stairlift that was no longer needed. He arrived at the time agreed and even phoned half an hour before hand to say when he would arrive. Arranged date and time for the removal of stairlift, I had a call to confirm tge appointment and a call 1 hour before from the engineer confirming his arrival. my mum has been with this company since 2015 she has always had fantastic service soon as i ring up greeted with very friendly staff on the phone and appointment is made quick with a engineer that comes out and sorts the problem .we had to call them out in dec 2021 the lady on the phone got my mum a quick appointment even though it was a busy time of year two engineers came out they was so friendly said mum would need a new lift but gave it a service to keep it running till they got her a new one which was not long a week later. I could not be their when engineer came back my mum is very elderly but the engineer was fantastic fitted the new stair lift which she is really happy about was very kind and put her paperwork away and had a nice chat with her on how her new stairlift worked . So i would recommend this company friendly helpful and their engineers do a fantastic job.

I needed a rental stairlift installed for my husband, I contacted a few companies and after seeing what they offered I chose Associated Stairlifts. It was fitted within a week by Rory who did a great job installing it with little fuss in under an hour and no mess. Paying a reasonable monthly rental without a contract was just what I needed and this cost included breakdown and all call out fees too. The hospice nurses who came to look after my husband were very impressed with the stairlift and the fact that it was rented rather than bought outright as it can take many months to get one installed by the local authority. It also was very neat and tidy against the wall of the stair case and took up very little room, I could still walk up the stairs whilst the chair was halfway up . My husband had use of it for a few months, it was a great help to him and saved us having a hospital bed put in the living room but unfortunately since then he went into hospital and has now sadly passed away and have now had it removed. I called Associated stairlifts to come and remove it which they did within a few weeks, Rory returned and dismantled it, it hasn’t left any marks on the walls and there is only a little bit of carpet flattened on the side of the stairs which will soon fluff up with vacuuming . You wouldn’t know there had been a stairlift there at all. Altogether I am very impressed with Associated Stairlifts for their great customer service and professionalism.

I needed to hire a stairlift for my husband very quickly, Rory came to survey my staircase and the following week it was installed by him. The Associated Stairlift technician serviced my sister's stairlift today. My sister is elderly and rather nervous. The engineer was friendly, polite and helpful and carried out the work efficiently, leaving my sister delighted with the result. I am a firm believer in the Which? Trusted Trader programme so am more than happy to endorse and recommend the service we received. I would also note that the overall cost of the service was only £10 more than an identical one carried out two years ago - I think that shows the value for money.

I had a urgent installation as my father in law was coming out of the hospital and needed a stair lift the follow week. Associated Stairlifts understood my problem and the MD himself came to do the site survey at the weekend and the stair lift was installed the following week. After my father in law passed away, Associated Stairlifts understood and took the stair lift away. Great staff and great people. Many thanks Associated for your help and understanding.

Excellent service by Rory. He telephoned in advance to give arrival time, which he kept too. Very polite, and carried out service, and installed two new batteries. Reported intermittent left armrest switch/cable fault which I chose to not follow up as it was not a serious problem. He demonstrated the finished work and left the area clean and tidy.

My parents (who are pensioners) needed help going up and down stairs and needed a stairlift - I sourced quite a few Brands (including 'market leading' ones which I found ridiculously expensive) and eventually settled on Associated Stairlift and I have been absolutely delighted with their service. Basically, they do what they say they are going to do - the surveyor turned up on time and explained all the works (simply) to my 80 year old, the deposit was taken with no fuss (and taken off the final bill), AS then realised the works would cost LESS then quoted, and passed the discount onto me and, finally, the installation engineer (Rory) was brilliant - extremely quiet and clean and tidied up after himself. He also tried to stairlift out himself a few times (to ensure fingers/toes didn't get trapped) and didn't leave until my dad had tried it and he was sure he was comfortable with using it. It's so rare to find a company that just does their job ! Thank you

My wife who has terminal cancer had a fall which left her unable to climb the stairs, l was recommended Associated Stairlifts by CAB. I telephoned them on Thursday Morning and told them my problem and they sent a surveyor that afternoon and first thing on Friday morning a fitter arrived and the stairlift was fitted. We had a problem with our stairlift in that it wouldn’t come down on the controls on the chair arms. I phoned Sarah at Associated Stairlifts on Monday and she arranged for an engineer to call on the Thursday. As promised Rory arrived and knew straight away what the problem was and set about putting it right. He was a very polite and friendly young man and was chatting away to us while working. We really appreciated him calling and putting it right and can’t thank him enough. We would always recommend Associated Stairlifts to anyone who needs a stairlift fitted.

Great company to deal with. Always courteous and helpful. We needed a new stairlift in our new build home. They helped us choose an appropriate model and fitted it on the day after our house move, as requested. We needed some adjustments made to the installation due to my being 6ft 5inches tall and unable to be present at the install due to Covid restrictions. Within 48 house an engineer has visited and resolved the issues to our entire satisfaction. We highly recommend this company.

This company was recommended to me by a friend. We had already had a salesperson from a very well known brand come and measure up and he really gave us the hard sell, which definitely put me off. So I phoned this company-based a long way from us in Leicester. A person came to measure up within days and a few days later a ‘like new’ chair was fitted. Sadly it wasn’t suitable for me but the chief engineer came the day after to see if he could make the necessary adjustments. It still wasn’t right for me - but not their fault, my right leg doesn’t bend very well. The engineer removed it there and then, leaving no mess at all. And we got all our money back! Even the deposit which I honestly thought we would lose. What an outstanding company! I can honestly recommend them whole heartedly to anyone having difficulty with stairs. Wonderful - I can’t praise them enough.

We unfortunately needed a stairlift for my 23yr old son in law who has motor neurons disease, from quote to installation this company has gone above and beyond. Jane was really helpful and and made sure we had the lift fitted asap. The fitters were friendly and polite, and professional. I can’t recommend this company enough.

My stairlift broke down so a friend recommended this company. It was the best referral I've ever used. The engineers (2 engineers on day 1 & 1 on 2nd ) visit. They gave the stairlift a very thorough examination and diagnosed a new charge needed. They ordered the part before leaving and quoted the same price as a supply part only firm. The part was available the next day and they again were very thorough. The quality of work and the outstanding employees warrant this 5***** appraisal. First a chap came to measure up for my stairlift and was on time, polite and knowledgeable explaining all the options available. The fitting was booked. For 2 days later. Rory turned up on time, was polite and got on with the work without having to be asked. He worked solidly until the job was finished then he demonstrated it and gave me a fully explanation of do's and don'ts and how to care for it. I was most impressed and would not hesitate to use them again.

Would definitely recommend this company, reliable, friendly and followed covid guidelines. From making inquiries for a chair lift to insulation was fast and professional, I could not find fault at all. The installers were friendly who gave me easy use instructions and what to do if I need to contact the company about any problems

From the minute I made initial enquiries to the minute the work was completed I could not have had better service from this company. They were so easy to deal with and even more importantly extremely reliable and helpful The stairlift they installed is perfect for my needs and has made such a difference to my life. I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

We had an issue with our stairlift (we had crashed it into an open cupboard door - oops!) The service provided was excellent - from the prompt , polite and helpful answer to our initial phone call, to the phone call from their engineer - to try and avoid a call out charge - due to our carelessness. Between us we sorted out the problem, everything is now working and we are very happy customers. Also they were just pleased for us and did not try to prompt a positive review, very refreshing.

It makes a change these days to deal with a company that are straight forward from the start. No over pricing then say they can do a deal. Fitted the lift for the good price they quoted on the day agreed. No problems worked well mother loved it. Now unfortunately she has passed, they came and removed it as agreed and a small refund.
