Asterisk Maintenance

I was really impressed with how fast Asterisk Maintenance gave me an appointment to fit an electric shower. The engineer was very friendly, efficient and left everything tidy. All round, a great job. It seemed fairly expensive at £400 for a replacement shower, but I was very happy with the service so I guess you get what you pay for!

Asterisk fitted a shower enclosure and tray in our bathroom also an outdoor tap. Both jobs were done with excellent results. The fitters were polite and carried out the work in the time estimated. We would recommend this company and would be happy to use them in the future.

I have been searching for a while for a trusted company to support me in out repairs on my Mum's house as I live far away. I found Asterisk's details on Age UK website and contacted them to repair the damage in the bathroom. The owner Jon contacted me after they had inspected the bathroom and explained the extent of the work which was needed. The team replaced the entire bathroom and repaired the leaking roof. They were polite, professional and skilled. I was kept updated on progress and was sent photographs of problem areas which needed addressing. The work was to a high standard and the bathroom is breathtakingly beautiful. My Mum is happy and that is what matters. I will be engaging Asterisk again to carry out further repairs on the house and I fully recommend them. They are honest trades people who take pride in their work. Jon and his team are outstanding.

Very pleased with our new bathroom. The old room was completely stripped out, walls taken back to brick and completely replaced to an exceptional standard. Superb service by the 2 fitters. I would recommend this company without reservation.

A colleague recommended this company and they came out within 2hrs of my call. It could have been hard to trace as affecting one side of house without tripping the main circuit. Courteous engineer systematically traced wires through loft and under floorboards and found and fixed problem within the hour and as it was an hourly rate this was brilliant. Others may have conned us into extra time. Would definitely recommend. A call was received the following day to check all was good.

Asterisk replaced a faulty electric shower for me. Their plumber arrived promptly on the agreed day, and completed the work quickly and efficiently for a very competitive price. I received a follow up call from the company the following day to ensure that everything had been done to my satisfaction. Excellent service from start to finish.

Having been burnt before it’s always been difficult for me to trust in any company or tradesmen when using them for the first time. I’m not the easiest person to please however Asterisk have far exceeded my expectations and delivered an amazing bathroom in my home. The nicest guys with a high level of expertise in all discaplins. Any questions or concerns were dealt with instantly by the office and the guys on site and at no point have I been left hanging waiting for a response. The only problem I do foresee is that I’m now going to be fighting with the family to use the new shower!!! (lol) I would happily use Asterisk again and recommend them highly.
