I contacted Avant Garde Damp Solutions and Ben came to see me in a couple of days. He explained what the work would entail and arranged for a report to be done. Once the work was agreed I received confirmation on the dates and the job was done the following week. It took 2 days as planned and I was pleased with the result. Ben and Frank have been very courteous and kept disruption to a minimum. Ben came back the following week to check on the job and make sure I was happy with it.

We had a damp problem in an old property that we had recently moved into. Ben quickly arranged for an independent survey and came and discussed the way forward for a suitable solution. The work required was a larger project than we initially expected but Ben and his team of guys worked hard and soon were rectifing the damp problem. It was good to deal with a local small company. Ben was always on hand to deal with any of our queries. His guys were always on time, polite and pleasant. The work was completed within the time frame quoted. We had one small snagging query which Ben addressed immediately. We would have no problems recommending Avant's Guarde for any damp solutions and work.

I purchased a basement flat in an old London Victorian house that was built in 1880-1890. I knew right away that I would need to do some damp woks when I bought the place. So I contacted about 5 different damp proofing companies and they all came over to have a look at the flat. Some were cheaper, and some were more expensive but what really stood out with Avant Garde was that Ben explained absolutely everything and the reasons why he had to do each little bit. It made me really comfortable with going forward and working with him and his team, and I never felt that they were doing something that was not needed. More over Ben's detailed planning of the works went a lot further than what the other companies were offering. So I really felt that he knew what he was doing and he wanted to cover every possible risk that could arise in the future. The job itself was quite big, the kitchen needed a full membrane tanking, and two bedrooms, a bathroom and a the living room that needed most of their walls damp proofed against raising and penetrating damp. And a french drain around the exterior walls. It took about 3-4 weeks to complete, the team was fast and on time every morning, they were all very friendly and very skilled in their own speciality. I'm very please with the result and I highly recommend Avant Gade Damp Solutions.

Ben came to my house to look at the damp in my outbuilding. The solution he suggested didn’t require a damp course, saving me money but meaning he lost out on potential work. This was very honest and as result I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

Professional service this is the second project avant-garde has worked on for us ,having used other big-name large dampproofing companies in the past .This has been an much more positive experience with Ben being on hand to deal with any issues that might arise on a project like this. Even changing specification at the last minute to incorporate work to follow one for instance to allow us to tile directly onto walls after dampproofing had taken place not normally recommended for six months but quickly fixed when thermal aqua panel was applied on top of the dampproofing .Ben is knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Avant Gare Damp Solutions treated dry rot in our lounge. Work was done on time and to the agreed price. Ben and his team were courteous and tidy - making the whole process stress free. Would happily happily recommend and would use myself again.

We contacted Ben after finding him through Which Recommended traders. We have had a problem with existing damp in our dining room for many years which other builders have not remedied so we got in touch with Avant Garde Ltd. Ben outlined the problem in his report and listed the remedial works that were needed. We went ahead with the works and were impressed by the professionalism of his workers. Ben managed to start the works a day early to suit us and the work was completed in three days. What was really reassuring was that the workmen arrived early and promptly in the morning. There was no hanging around for people to arrive and his workmen were eager to get the works completed. I am very pleased with the work which has been carried out and that it was completed within the timescale specified. I highly recommend this company.

They were exceptionally helpful when I explained the problem and arranged for a survey which was carried out with 48 hours. The surveyor explained what he needed to do making sure we understood every step of the way. He carried this out and promised us a report within 2 days which we received as promised. Small job in a middle bedroom Victorian house, but they gave the best quote, did the job on the day that was planned/promised and gave great advice on how to solve the problem. The room looks great now and not a spec of dust, or plaster anywhere in the house. Great team who really care about there workmanship.

Ben and his team provided an excellent service to our organisation. I was impressed by the standard of the finished work and was very grateful that he turned it around so quickly for us to minimise the disruption to our office. I contacted the guys for a quote in Nov having already got one from one of the bigger companies. As well as being competitive they are also very thorough and if it wasn't for their expertise I could have had a major delay with a bathroom renovation. Information that was not shared by their larger competitor. They fit the job into my schedule and worked very long hours to do so. They also fixed another problem in the flat. My builders were impressed with their quality of their work and I was impressed with their overall service. Recommend them highly.

Ben dealt with a damp problem in our basement. He produced a quote on the same day after surveying the problem. He turned up with his team on the agreed date and completed the job quickly and efficiently.

The team came and got on with the job very efficiently, and did the work as quoted, as well as doing some extra bits when we asked them to.
