I needed work to be done to the exterior of my house, paint was peeling, the masonry was falling apart and the brickwork needed extensive repair. Adrian and his brother set to work and did a superb job. I am so pleased with the result. Adrian is very knowledgeable and he and his brother have a knack for putting you at ease. He always explained everything and kept me up to date every step of the way. Both Adrian and his brother took great care over everything they did. Nothing was too much trouble and once they got started I knew that me and my house were in safe hands. They always cleaned up at the end of each day and if any debris fell in the neighbours' property, they made sure to clean that up too. I will definitely be asking Adrian to come back to do other jobs in the near future. My neighbours were impressed with the work Adrian and his brother were doing. From inside the house I could hear the praise being heaped upon them as they worked. As a result, they want them to do work for them too. I would have no hesitation in recommending Adrian he is professional and passionate about what he does. He really cares and is keen to do a great job, which he achieves.

We’ve had a full refurbishment of our mid-terrace London home, and Adrian and Piotr have been fantastic from start to finish. They lifted and levelled our floorboards, insulated and plastered the ground floor, installed new drainage in the subfloor, built bespoke cupboards, tiled throughout (including a beautiful fireplace), painted, and added lovely arches and shelving in our front room. They’re incredibly reliable. They always turn up when they say they will, and were thoughtful and accommodating while working around us living in the house. Everything was completed to a high standard, and they left the place clean and tidy each day. They’re also reasonably priced and genuinely trustworthy. We’ll definitely be using them again for our rear extension and loft conversion. Highly recommend them for any building works.

Adrian has done an excellent job repairing an outside wall on my property which included fixing cracks and repointing. He also was able to point out issues with an upstairs property which were affecting mine. He was hardworking, conscientious and reliable, and I was very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely use his company again.

Having watched Adrian work on a weatherboard house opposite our home we were very impressed by the time and care taken in preparing before starting painting. We booked him to paint our rendered property, and he was very insistent that he would not start work until the temperature increased, as it was winter. He kept in contact before starting the job and arrived exactly when he said he would. He had quoted for the paint on the rendering but repaired and painted a few other areas that needed attention without us asking him. We would definitely recommend Adrian to other people and would most certainly use him again.

Having used Adrian and Piotr on work to our home last year, I had no hesitation in using them again. A delivery lorry reversed into our garden wall partially demolishing it. Adrian came out very quickly to help tidy the site and make sure everything was safe. He provided a reasonable quote to repair (cleaning and reusing existing bricks wherever possible to ensure we still have a perfect match with remaining (undamaged) section of wall. Work was completed on time and to agreed budget. As ever, very courteous and tidy work practices, and we are very pleased with the quality of work they have done and the finish. Will use Adrian and Piotr again for any further building work we have in the future.

I was looking for a builder to do some odd jobs around the house and found Adrian on Trusted Traders based off his excellent rating and reviews. Adrian has completed several jobs for me, the largest being complete gutter and soffit replacement. Adrian’s work is always completed to a very high standard and he has always completed the jobs on or before web he said he would. No doubt I will use Adrian again very soon, and I’d encourage others to do the same.

We have used Adrian team on numerous occasions to do large jobs e.g., putting in 3 bathrooms and our downstairs tiling with underfloor heating. This most recent job was more on the maintenance side to do with the consequences of a leak (not damaging enough for a claim), along with some other fixes. Adrian is unique in my experience in his level of conscientiousness. He is always really diligent in keeping me informed what he plans to do and when. As ever, he completed everything perfectly and fixed a couple of other things while he was at it. Adrian was first recommended to us six years ago by my cousin who found him via Which Trusted Traders. She has recommended him widely and he has always satisfied everybody. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Adrian worked on repairing external brickwork, re-pointing, rendering and fixing cracks on multiple external walls, including installing helibars, and replacing a broken gutter. Adrian was always on time, very communicative and detail-oriented. We have already enquired with Adrian about further work, and we would highly recommend Adrian to others.

Adrian and Piotr are excellent builders. They take pride in their work and don't cut corners. They are tidy, clean and courteous. My wife and I booked Adrian to change remove and fit an interior wall, fit doorframes and doors, skim a ceiling, paint walls and woodwork and a bunch of other tasks. The quality of their work and work rate was superb and they were great at doing those little extra things that cropped up. When I added bigger items to the scope, they were fair and reasonable in the pricing and additional time. We all worry about builders coming into our homes, the disruption and the quality of work. I was delighted with how considerate Adrian and his team were and would definitely recommend them in all aspects (and because I know it's an issue: they never left my WC dirty!). We're delighted with their work and will definitely have them back in future.

Adrian was recommended to me by a neighbour. We had a bad leak in our roof, spotted just before Christmas where rain was entering the top floor and running down the bedroom wall. Unsurprisingly Adrian was not free to fix it just before Christmas, (no one was), but gave us a temporary fix (free) just to stop any further ingress of water. This 'can do' attitude persuaded me to engage him to do the job permanently in the New Year. He completed the job when he said he was going to and made really neat work of it. No further ingress of water in spite of torrential rain. The loose coping stones are now fixed and the brick fascia, cleaned. Great attention to detail and I would say pride in his work. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I am very pleased with the work and would recommend him.

AW Building Services has worked for my local church on several occasions. They have carried out roofing, guttering, plumbing and general building works. Adrian and Piotr (Peter) are hardworking and efficient. They work well as a team, and leave the work area clean and tidy. They have also been reliable - and have informed me of any unexpected delays in advance (I have not been left waiting for nothing). I have no hesitation in recommending AW Building Services. Having previously experienced mixed levels of service from other builders, it was refreshing and a real pleasure to have Adrian and Piotr working on our property. Polite, tidy, timely (i.e. turned up to work consistently and completed project to expected timescale), all cost variations agreed in advance (these were all due to changes I requested), work executed to a high standard. I engaged Adrian to work on our house after receiving quotes from a few builders. Adrian was mid-range price-wise, and very personable when we met. What really sealed the deal was the glowing review I got from a recent customer. They were very happy to talk me through their project and how Adrian and Piotr had been so helpful and professional throughout. Work done at our property was: - Rear patio (including removal of the previous patio, flower beds- and retaining walls). - Extension to the existing garage (>2m deep foundation, internal fit out, etc). - Brick-built bike shed / external storage with a shingle roof. - Floodlight installation. - Replacement of soffits/fascia/guttering downspouts etc. -Painting. There were a number of technical and practical challenges. Through clear communication and discussion, they were able to suggest excellent solutions to all issues. There was also a huge volume of sheer physical labour that would have broken lesser men, but Adrian and Piotr just slogged through it all. Will be glad to have them back. 😀

This is the third job that Adrian and his team have done in my property. Over the time, they have installed three new ceilings, done a comprehensive interior redecoration, repaired and repainted the window frames and now repointed an outside wall. Their performance has always been exemplary. They are utterly dependable and provide first-class workmanship in record time. They have been a pleasure to deal with for all concerned. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I didn’t want the cheapest job - I wanted the best work with good value for money on the restoration and redecoration of my Victorian weather boarded cottage which was in a bad way. It sounds sad to say but given services received in the past, this was exceptional work. Peter and Adrian are hard working grafters, work to a very high standard, communicate brilliantly and delivered a result that exceeded expectations. I initially found Adrian of AW Building Services via the Which Trust a Trader portal, and after reading a few reviews I hired him to to complete some internal roof repairs on my home. The job was completed to a high standard, within the quoted estimate, and well within the allocated time slot. With the above in mind I further hired him and his crew to complete a double-storey extension on a property I had just obtained planning consent on. This was a large extension, containing many different building skills that all needed to be performed to a high standard to satisfy those of the local authority. I am happy to report that in September of this year the property was signed-off by Building Regs, and barring one or two very minor snagging issues (that were very quickly remedied) we have had no other issues whatsoever with the build, which I can assure you is a rarity on such a large extension. I will sign-off by saying that Adrian and his team are very hardworking, polite, professional and efficient, and I would have no qualms at all in recommending them to anyone.

Adrian and co have just completed a series of jobs to stop the deterioration of an old wooden building . This work was quite different from earlier jobs (2 in the past) which included roof repairs and tiling and plastering. All these jobs were done to a high standard, were on time and on budget. Adrian's attention to detail was particularly welcome. He is most conscientious and I recommend him highly.

Had our roof fixed by this fantastic builder, and I couldn't be more impressed! They worked incredibly hard, finished the job quicker than expected, and the quality is outstanding. Plus, they were super friendly throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Adrain & Peter Wator reviewed, assessed and continued to reassess the quality of the delivered workmanship. The work was carried out over a week, and Peter was prompt and hard-working, mainly when the weather was not very kind. They are adaptable and conscientious, and they listen and react to clients' requests. The work covered painting all the stonework and repointing the brick behind the rainwater pipework and the threshold and timber entrance porch. The work was completed to a high level, and there was good communication between both parties.

Adrian and team put underfloor heating and tiling in to the ground floor of our house. They also did some external work to our roofing when the storms exposed some broken tiles and rainwater came in. He also did some redecoration. This was a big undertaking but we were very happy with previous work in our house - he put in three new bathroom for us in 2020 with which we remain very happy. As with our previous experiences, Adrian and team are incredibly conscientious which is what really stands out. Their workmanship is excellent, they are very painstaking and good value but it's the attention to detail and effort to make sure you're happy that I've not come across with others. We were recommended AW Building Services by my cousin who found them on Which Trusted Traders. She has recommended them to all her friends and family and all are highly satisified.

We contacted Adrian about under floor insulation for our lounge. He was consistently on time, polite and kept us informed about his progress. Checking with us about potential tweaks to his work as he went along. Any suggestions he made were well considered and thought through. Adrian made sure his work was thorough and we have really benefitted as our lounge area no longer has really cold air blowing up from the cellar.

We contacted Adrian and Peter for a paint job on a 2-bedroom house. From start to finish, they were exemplary in their professionalism and efficiency. Not only were they punctual and arrived on time, but they also worked diligently to complete the job as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and are grateful for their hard work and expertise.
