This is the second job they have done for us. Both times replacing fencing. Both completed to a high quality, quickly, no mess and very happy. Highly recommend.

Paul and Steve did a brilliant job in difficult weather conditions and we are delighted with the final result. Beforehand Paul was very helpful and visited several times to look at the existing fence and help us come up with the best solution. The fences were then replaced very quickly and minor issues were quickly rectified.

Removal of the gravelled area removed old membrane and spent soil. Added fresh topsoil and turf. Tarmaced small area. Work carried out according to quotation. Complete satisfaction at the agreed time and terms. Thoroughly professional and courteous. The site was left clean and tidy and clear instructions for the care of the plot. This company was previously used twice by me and would be my first choice for any future need.

We have used A W Fencing over many years to erect and replace fencing, tarmacking our drive and laying a sandstone path at the front of our property, with a sandstone patio at the rear of the house. They removed and replaced about 9m2 of paving and installed a rain channel grate. Turned up when they said they would, did a great job, left it clean and tidy. They've done a number of jobs for neighbours on our street so was confident they'd be good. Very pleased with the result - on schedule and on budget.

The work above was carried out to an exemplary standard. The whole process from quote to installation was efficient. Any issues arising were quickly and effectively dealt with, meaning all parties were completely satisfied with outcome. I recommend this business without reservation.

Our front entrance timber deck needed to be replaced after 22 years. A new sub-frame and timber decking boards (by Gripsure) were required. The contractor carefully striped off old decking and sub-frame carted away and tidied up any debris. Supplied and concreted in short galvanised posts strategically positioned to support and bolt on the new sub-frame of outer and inner treated joists so the frame was clear of the ground. Terram membrane was laid under the sub-frame. The decking boards were carefully laid and using a template maintaining a constant gap between boards of 6mm. The board ends and screw fixings were all carefully lined up level. Work was completed on time and estimate. Nothing went wrong and the contractor was helpful answering my questions or queries. Extremely neat and tidy fence replacement. Reseated concrete fence post. New fence solid as a rock and looks very classy. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

Paul and Adrian have been exemplary workers. It was a horrible job and they were quick workers, took immense care of plants round the garden and left everything immaculate when they finished. We didn’t know what we wanted but Paul helped us with recommendations. He did all the sourcing and ordering, and did his best to find the most cost effective option. He kept in contact all through the process. Railings were fitted very quickly and neatly. We’re very happy with the job and the service. We’d definitely use AW Fencing again.

We wanted our old worn out driveway to be replaced and widened with new tarmac and a bit of edging/stonework to be also done. AW Fencing & Driveways Ltd quoted me for replacement fencing at my back garden. The quote was reasonable and the job was agreed. Paul and his co worker arrived as planned and completed the work by lunchtime. The work was done really well and the fencing is of high standard so it should last a long time. They left the site clean and tidy for both myself and my neighbour, taking all the old panels away. Paul has just replaced the 2nd of our boundary fences and we would have no hesitation in using him again - although this is unlikely to happen for a long time as he does such an excellent job. This wasn't the easiest of jobs and I could go into the detail but the end result would be the same - Paul is recommended 100%

We had an area of old , discoloured chippings alongside our main driveway and we asked Paul to come and quote for replacing it . He delivered a detailed estimate the next day and later brought a sample of the proposed chippings to make sure we were happy. Last week he arrived as arranged with a small excavator to remove the previous surface , flattened it and laid a weed suppressing membrane before covering it with Cotswold chippings. He was friendly, polite and we are delighted with the result. We would certainly recommend him .

A W Fencing and Driveways Ltd renewed the fencing at the bottom of my garden along the top of the river bank. This was double-thickness chain link fencing being attached to concrete uprights already in place, sunk into the bank. The bank has mature shrubs and plants in situ. As quoted, the two guys did a really great job, quick and efficient: they took away the old fencing and left the area clean and smart. Very efficient and very polite. They also fitted a bannister rail for me to enable me easier access up and down the steps to the bottom of my garden. Just wonderful to be able to get down there again and look at the river and its life.

The pergola in our back garden was in a sorry state. Paul did a first-rate job restoring it. He is very knowledgeable and skillful. He is tidy and kept us informed about the progress of the work. We would thoroughly recommend this tradesman.

This trader used on earlier occasion and came recommended by relative. Fence replacement carried out a day earlier than expected. Site left tidy with all debris removed. very good communications.

This was a job requiring fencing panels and a large patio area. All work was completed quickly and to the highest professional standard. Nothing was too much trouble and great care was talked to protect the surrounding work area from damage and disruption. Everything was left clean and tidy after the work was completed. Overall this company provides an excellent service at very competitive prices.

I have used Paul several times for fencing and driveway work. On this occasion he replaced a section of rotting sleeper wall (not installed by him!), replaced a gate post, and relaid some block paving. As always, he did an excellent job and cleaned up at the end of each day. Highly recommended.
