AWGS Fencing

Despite the hot weather and us having a particularly challenging landscape at the back of our garden, Paul and Ben worked exceptionally hard at giving our garden a gorgeous makeover. We had the back fencing installed with duraposts and then the side panels also replaced with concrete bases and posts. The fencing looks so neat and professional and has provided us with so much more privacy for our garden. Both Paul and Ben were extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I can’t recommend them enough!

This is the 3rd time we’ve used AWGS for fencing requirements. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I’ve now used AWGS twice, and once again they delivered an excellent service. Most recently, they replaced six fence panels with concrete boards, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. After I initially got in touch, they came out promptly to assess the existing fences and provided a quote very quickly. The work was scheduled for the following week, which was much appreciated. Two installers arrived as planned, worked efficiently, and did a fantastic job. The quality of the installation is outstanding, and the new fences look amazing. They removed my old fence, disposed of it efficiently, and installed a new, high-quality overlap fence that looks fantastic. They also added a smart, durable cap on top for extra longevity, which really finished it off beautifully. In addition to the new fence, they installed a trellis on an existing section—again completed to a very high standard—and carried out a repair on another fence panel that now looks as good as new. Throughout the entire process, they were professional, hardworking, and offered helpful advice whenever needed. Their attention to detail really shows in the final result. We have used this family business several times over the last 25 years and have always found them friendly, reliable and punctual. Work is first class and carried out in an efficient manner with minimal disruption to the garden and always left clean and tidy.

Paul and his team did an excellent job in replacing an old, broken and rotting fence. Using concrete slotted posts and good quality lap fence panel sitting on concrete gravel boards, the end result is a good looking new fence that will last many years. I am very pleased with the way in which the work was carried out and the site cleaned up. The costs were also very reasonable for a quality job, communication excellent and a very friendly team working on site. I've no hesitation in highly recommending Paul and AWGS. 5 star rating in my book.

We needed a long run of fence replacing and were recommended AWGS Fencing by the local fencing supplier. They said ‘he will sort you out’ and they weren’t wrong. Paul and his team were very responsive to our needs, got the job done in the challenging January weather and coped with all eventualities. The close board fence panels and trellis are all extremely high quality, and the whole team know exactly what they are doing. They sourced the trellis panels from several different supply branches as stocks were low. They keep a skip at the suppliers and so remove all the waste as they go, and bring back the new materials as required, which means you don’t need a skip at the house. Paul was very thoughtful and did several extra little jobs which arose, to make the job look great and absolutely complete. All in all we are thrilled with the final result. If I were looking for a fencing contractor in Wokingham, I would go here for any type of fencing that you want.
