We recently retained this company to completely refurbish two 43 year old bathrooms and a cloakroom over a ten week period in the summer of 2024. Our previous review in respect of that work will explain why we had no hesitation in asking them to redecorate, for the first time in 15 years, our principal bedroom. Their decorator, Kevin, was obliged to contend with the room being partly furnished and a wall-mounted corner TV and 2 double wardrobes with beading. He took 4 days and as with all Baileys' workers proved courteous, trustworthy and always willing to provide professional guidance. The redecoration was finished on time and within budget.

Never used Baileys before. Thoroughly impressed by professional and quick service. When I had a problem, I spoke with the team and they sent someone within a few hours and fixed the issue.

We have used Bailey Plumbing & heating three times in the last month, to service our boiler and repair several radiators. They offer excellent customer service, great communication and have completed work to an excellent standard. They have provided accurate quotes and carried out work efficiently, are always friendly and polite to have on site. Would highly reccommend them.

From the time I spoke to Teresa, the administrator at Bailey Plumbing, regarding the fitting of a new shower in my bathroom, I found the Company to be efficient and professional. Luke the plumber was friendly and helpful, and completed the task in a tidy and timely manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Baileys, and will certainly use them for future work.

My wife and I bought our current house when new 43 years ago. We decided it was time to refurbish the family bathroom and cloakroom and due to balance issues, to concert our e/s/b into a walk in shower. We sought three quotes and retained Bailey's not based on price but being the most comprehensive. In addition they appeared to have a larger work force. They estimated the work would take 9 weeks and once we accepted their quote they provided a programme giving the work on a daily basis and impressively the employees engaged in doing that work. At no time did we regret our decision, the work was completed in the 10th week, all the employees were polite, trustworthy and willing to go out of their way to oblige and keep the mess contained within certain areas as much as possible. Their attention to detail especially after snagging was exceptional. we would not hesitate to recommend Baileys in the future.

I have used many plumbers and decorators over the years. It is always a real pleasure to find people who love and take pride in what they do. I've used Bailey Plumbers twice in the past couple of years. The first time was to service and repair my boiler. The second time was to find and fix a leak. Both times the plumber arrived exactly on schedule, with a call 30 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. Both times, they brought along an apprentice. That in itself is something the speaks volumes - taking the time to pass on skills to the next generation. Lovely to see. On the second occasion, there was some making good as the leak from a bathroom above had destroyed some plaster and left an 8 inch hole in our living room ceiling. Once the leak was fixed, the hole was repaired and painted in a single morning. I can honestly say that it looks like it was never there. An amazing job from Kevin who looks after that side of things. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Due to mobility issues, we required our small bathroom to be completely gutted, re-plastered, re-tiled, re-floored and the bath replaced by a walk-in shower. Being a practical person, I wanted separate valves to each water outlet, so as to be able to easily isolate any problem, without affecting other outlets. The company listened to our wishes and gave sound advice. Despite the inevitable dust and grime created by the removal of 2 layers of tiles (one on top of the other) and plaster, the effect on the rest of the house was kept to a minimum by their careful packaging of the debris and by covering the carpets with a thick 'cling film'. They constantly cleaned up as they worked. All staff (Guy, Luke, Kevin, Rob etc) were very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and approachable. They listened to any concern or comment I made as the task progressed. After completion there was one small issue with the wash basin, which was fixed the day after I reported it. Work was completed on time and within estimate. Overall a fabulous, professional company. I will certainly be using them in the future for boiler maintenance and any other plumbing issues.

Sadly my experience was nothing like the previous one with them for which I gave a 5* rating. In my correspondence with the company prior to them coming I was told "the Full Monty service" included "a full strip down clean of the main heat exchanger, a replacement burner gasket, new ignition electrodes, a system health check, a radiator inspection & a full dose of inhibitor in your heating system." From this description I was expecting a thorough flushing & servicing of the whole system as it was considerably more expensive than a basic one. I cleaned & cleared round all my radiators, so the engineer could access them. On the day a young lad came round who I challenged when it became clear that he was not going to be flushing any radiators. He phoned his office & said I could stop the service, but I had taken the day out for this & the service needed to be done. In the end I don't believe all my radiators were properly inspected or bled and I’m uncertain as to whether any inhibitor was used as the young engineer didn’t really tell me what he was doing or what he had done. He said he'd serviced all radiators but I was in my office all the time & he never came in there. Afterwards he'd left quite a bit of mess on the floor by the boiler. After complaining, I received a second visit, where a senior manager kindly cleaned & looked at the radiators, but a second visit shouldn't have been necessary. Only recommend company because the Bailey's themselves gave better experience.

Very professional experience with Bailey. They undertook a standard oil boiler service and were very thorough with the service taking photographs as they went along. Friendly engineer and good communication.

Following a nightmare with an old Baxi boiler, Guy and the team were able to help arrange a replacement of our boiler and flue in a matter of days! We have used Baileys for a few years now and have always been very happy with their service but this boiler replacement was above & beyond. Rob and Harry arrived and removed the defective boiler/flue and installed our new Worcester Bosch and flue in less than two days, working tirelessly to get our heat re-instated. They were a pleasure to have in our house with all aspect of the installation being extremely professional and efficient. I couldn't recommend Baileys, Guy, Rob or Harry enough - absolutely fantastic engineers!
