I want to share some positive words of this company. Too often I only complain rather than acknowledge people when things go well. So here it goes. I contacted Bailey Plumbing and Heating as my toilet was not flushing properly. At the same time I asked about their decorating services and arranged for my spare bedroom and the hallway to be painted. They sent a plumber Luke to fix the toilet. He was amazing, polite, kept everything clean, found what was wrong, ordered the part and came back a week later to fix the broken flush. Great job! For the decorating they sent Kevin over to assess what was needed and price up. He appeared very knowledgeable and he gave a great price for a partial plastering of the ceiling, and painting the ceiling and walls. I booked him in and yesterday he completed the bedroom. I cannot fault his work. He prepared the room and hallway to ensure dust and dirt were kept to a minimum, and the decorating and plastering was first class. He kept me updated on how the job was going and the end result was exactly as planned. I would recommend Bailey Plumbing and Heating for all your plumbing and decorations works.

Contacted Bailey plumbing regarding an underfloor heating issue. They were professional and thorough, spending time to understand and diagnose the problem and then agree a resolution. Once the quote was received and confirmed the work carried out was to a very high standard backed up by complete documentation. I would not hesitate to use them again and as such they come highly recommended.

I was really pleased with the responsiveness of Bailey Plumbing. All of the work was completed to a high and on the first visit. I will be using Bailey Plumbing in the future.

I called to ask a plumber to call to investigate the leak. Rob called at the end of the week and said the water seal needed changing. I agreed that all seals should be replaced and he ordered the parts. I agreed the quote for the work and Rob returned to replace. It's a relief to have the dish washer working! I was impressed with Rob's work and efficiency and also the work of Teresa in the office. I have used Bailey's in the past, and will do so again. Their plumbers (Rob and Luke) are efficient and explain everything to someone who knows nothing about plumbing!

Teresa was very helpful when I contacted the company and organised a swift appointment to address problems with a leaking tap and cistern. Luke came the next day and was efficient and courteous, explaining the necessary work and completing both jobs well within the hour. Very happy with the outcome and would recommend.

Having become absolutely fed up with our previous national servicing company, we went for Bailey Plumbing and Heating as we have used them once before for a plumbing job. Guy and Freya took the time to do the job properly and to answer a couple of other questions that were not related to the boiler. They were with us for an hour and delivered a thorough, quality job. All the people I have spoken to at Baileys, from the office management and staff through to the engineers, are polite, communicative and helpful. We had one administration problem which was sorted out immediately with well-meant apologies. That's really important and, in my view, when problems are owned and dealt with well, it strengthens the relationship with customers. Very pleased with the work and we will use Guy and his team again.

Luke was pleasant and professional. Excellent manners. Quick to exchange my shower for a new one and all tidied up beautifully after fitting. This company had also plumbed in my son's washing machine and he found them excellent.

Recommended Bailey plumbing to repair broken shower enclosure and to advise on problems with the initial shower installation (by previous owner). I had a previous estimate very high estimate to replace the whole shower and tiling. The solution Bailey's recommended was much easier and cheaper. The firm were very efficient looking at the problem and booking in a time to fix it. The plumbers carrying out the work were helpful, quick and tidy. It is lovely having working shower doors and to know that the unit no longer leaks.

Guy and Harry did an excellent repair of a leaking joint. The repair was in a very difficult location behind the kitchen units. Guy was able to work out the best way to fix the leak without causing any damage to the kitchen units. I was very impressed that he was able to do this. I lost all water except in my kitchen tap. The office booked me in for the following day, even though they were already booked up. George came and was friendly, helpful and efficient - he diagnosed the issue, fetched a part, and fitted it, then checked all my the taps and cleaned out where some of them had collected debris when my tank emptied. He even came back that afternoon to correct a minor issue that cropped up. I’d very much recommend the company - and George in particular!

Guy from Bailey plumbing and heating came to me to fix a leaking flush cone on a toilet, a leaking utility tap and to give me advice on a leaking shower cartridge. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable and did all the work efficiently and quickly. I won’t hesitate to use them again should I need to and won’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

We have used Bailey Plumbing & heating three times in the last month, to service our boiler and repair several radiators. They offer excellent customer service, great communication and have completed work to an excellent standard. They have provided accurate quotes and carried out work efficiently, are always friendly and polite to have on site. Would highly reccommend them.

Preparing gas, water and waste lines for a new kitchen plus radiator re-routing and replacement. Very quick email response to my query; follow inspection visit in a couple of days; reasonable estimate and work started and finished promptly. Friendly helpful discussion about what was needed and work then carried out exactly as we agreed. All round excellent.

Called the company as my shower unit had become faulty. The company dealt with my request in a professional and efficient manner. They sourced the new unit and arrived at the agreed time. Luke was very professional and replaced the unit very quickly. in addition he cleared all the mess and removed the old unit. He was very knowledgeable and had a friendly manner. They sorted a water pressure problem dating back years which successive plumbers were unable to do. Prompt timekeeping and clean and tidy workmanship, as well as a commitment to making sure things are right mean I would have no hesitation in recommending this company most highly.

We had the bath removed and a walk-in shower installed. My wife and I are extremely happy and satisfied with the result. We were kept informed every step of the way and were so impressed with Guy's attention to detail and knowledgeably assisted by the ever cheerful Luke. It was very refreshing to witness Guy and Luke taking obvious pride in their work and it certainly shows in the finished job. Guy did a boiler service a for us (first time in a long while). He was very thorough and professional. He recommended a few things that we could follow up on and sent us a very reasonable quote with absolutely no pressure to proceed. We decided to replace the pump as recommended since our radiators had not been heating up properly in years. The new pump is amazing and we are very happy with the service. We will definitely use Guy and team in the future. All the work came with a twelve month guarantee.

Used for a boiler service. Easy way of booking and a call on the Friday to ensure all was good to go for Monday, and then a call on Monday when 15 mins away. Guy was really friendly and very professional. service was great and really happy. All work was completed to a high standard.

In a cold snap, we put our central heating on for a quick warm up. It did the job but wouldn’t go off!!! Luke came round that afternoon, identified the motorised valve as the problem and fixed it in that visit. Once again Bailey’s proved pleasant and easy to deal with, getting the job done promptly, efficiently and at a very fair price. Would always look to them to deal with heating or plumbing problems.

Guy carried out the boiler service explained what he had done and possible new part next year very pleasant man, very happy to answer questions not related to the job in hand, have used Bailey’s before will use them again, would recommend.

I have used many plumbers and decorators over the years. It is always a real pleasure to find people who love and take pride in what they do. I've used Bailey Plumbers twice in the past couple of years. The first time was to service and repair my boiler. The second time was to find and fix a leak. Both times the plumber arrived exactly on schedule, with a call 30 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. Both times, they brought along an apprentice. That in itself is something the speaks volumes - taking the time to pass on skills to the next generation. Lovely to see. On the second occasion, there was some making good as the leak from a bathroom above had destroyed some plaster and left an 8 inch hole in our living room ceiling. Once the leak was fixed, the hole was repaired and painted in a single morning. I can honestly say that it looks like it was never there. An amazing job from Kevin who looks after that side of things. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Rob had been asked to change 2 toilet seats at a previous job and he ordered replacements. He called to replace the seats and as agreed remove the old seats. He is courteous and efficient. I have used this firm to do several jobs since Christmas Eve when they came at short notice to sort out a flood in my airing cupboard. They have always provided an efficient service
