We recently had 10 replacement windows fitted in a Victorian house. Balhousie Glazing won the tendering process with the most competitive price for the specified work. From the survey onwards the approach taken by Balhousie has been professional, informative and collaborative. We were given a realistic timetable for the manufacture of the windows through to the fitting, and at every stage the support from the staff taking calls and answering questions was absolutely first rate. The two guys, Alan and Peter, who came to undertake the fitting over three days couldn't have been nicer. Friendly, helpful as well as skilled and diligent, they worked hard throughout the whole period, cleaned up each day, arrived when they said they would, and did a really excellent job. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Balhousie to anyone looking for high quality, affordable replacement windows.

Work done 4 replacement windows (2 kitchen, 2 bedrooms) - estimations was accurate, measurement for fitting was as agreed and the fitting was done exactly as scheduled. The fitters were obviously skilled and left the place tidy and the windows as agreed on the plan. This was in direct contrast to the last window company who set up a date to measure windows - failed to turn up on the date agreed and their contract was cancelled but they failed to refund the deposit as per their cancellation policy. The refund was carried out with the credit card company but it left a bad impression. By contrast Balhousie were 100% and we are delighted to recommend them to anyone. They have a good name in Perth and not without reason!

From start to finish our experience of Balhousie was superb. We had some issues to resolve initially with planning and Balhousie were great in letting us deal with these in our own time. There was no pushing us and the initial quotation and the information and advice we were given was excellent. We were dreading having the windows replaced because we knew it would be a big upheaval, but the joiners who came to do the work were very good at helping us arrange our lives around their work. There was no mess and they were very careful (because we have cream carpets) to make sure that they had appropriate floor coverings as well. They left everything very clean and tidy. They did find a couple of small faults in the windows supplied (they spotted these faults not us) and immediately agreed to exchange the affected windows. Follow-up service was also excellent, checking that everything was fine and we have great confidence in the company as they back all of their work with a guarantee.

Complete fascia, soffit and guttering on a 4-bed bungalow replaced. Nice team to deal with from the sales, survey onwards. Everything they said would happen, happened! Everything they said they would do, they did! The team that arrived looked well travelled and set about everything with professionalism and good banter. The team were courteous and respected our property throughout, even pointing out any additional defects they discovered. Self-contained, cleaned up every night and no mess afterwards. A big mention for Peter who was not fazed by anything and was a delight to work with.

Balhousie replaced the windows at my elderly mother's house. They did an excellent job and were very friendly, helpful and considerate. They cleaned up after themselves every day and kept disruption to the minimum, which was much appreciated. Communication from their office was great too. Top marks!

From the first day, my enquiry was welcomed and dealt with in a very professional manner by Paul who took the time over several visits to explain pros and cons, processes and timescales and costs. At no point was the process forced or pushy - genuine advice and guidance was provided. The team at the showroom were also very welcoming and allowed us all the time we needed to walk round and view the various products. When it came to the installation Allan & Peter were simply fantastic. Hard working, happy to answer my questions and give me pointers on future maintenance and super tidy. We bought our house last year and replacing the 30+ year old windows was something of a priority as the frames were rotten and there was mould and damp between the glass panels. We got three well established companies to quote and all were told that whilst price was a factor, quality and service were just as important. We were replacing 2 external doors, 10 windows and having one large window cut down to replace with a patio door. Quite a big project! After lots of discussion and research, Balhousie got the contract. Every member of staff we dealt with from the salesman, to the showroom, to the surveyor and the fitters were faultless. They arrived when they said they would, were friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. There was never a trace of hard sell, changes to spec were quickly and easily dealt with and the whole project was easier than I ever imagined it could be. We were kept well informed throughout the process. The fitters were clean and tidy, hardworking and friendly. The windows have been beautifully installed and the quality is excellent. I genuinely couldn't be happier with the whole experience. The icing on the cake is they were fractionally the cheapest as well, but if they'd been the most expensive I'd still have happily used them.

We recently had a new front door fitted by Balhousie Glazing. We had visited a number of companies prior to purchase but thought the team at Balhousie stood out. The website and technology to design your door also helped as we took time to decide on the right door for us. Once we agreed on the door and price, the customer care to keep us upto date on installation was excellent. The door was installed to an extremely high standard, you wouldn't even know the work had been done as it was so cleanly installed. The installer even hoovered outside the house so there was no mess! All in all, fantastic experience from a great team....I would highly recommend.

We used Balhousie to supply and install 5 windows at our property. The company was proficient from start to finish. Their price was competitive and any questions we had on their quotation were answered within 24 hours. Once an installation date was agreed the operatives turned up on time - carried out the work in a very tidy and professional manner - completed the work within one day and left the rooms clean and tidy. Having used this company elsewhere we would recommend the company to all prospective customers

Stewart and Peter carried out the new soffits and fascia. They did an excellent job replacing the old wood with new UPVC. They were polite, tidy and efficient and all scaffolding was removed the day after completion. Stewart communicated with me on a regular basis and kept me information a regular basis. Balhousie office requested a deposit and I thought the quote from the salesman, Paul Reid was very pricey considering I have a semi-detached cottage, and it took less than 2 1/2 days to complete, when I was told it would take 3 days to a week.

This was a large job which included roofline/all new windows/all doors and new guttering/downpipes etc. We were very pleased with the service from start to finish. Stuart and Peter are great guys and were very professional and super friendly and extremely hard working, keeping me informed on progress at every stage. Also want to thank Gordon (surveyor) for all his assistance and help from start to finish and also with the very minor snags at the end. We had Balhousie Double Glazing fitted 3 years ago. Two of our large windows, hinged at the top, recently refused to open. I contacted Balhousie yesterday to report the problem. A really warm and cheerful guy, Finlay, answered the phone. No ifs or buts or wriggling out. He asked me to email basic details, nothing complicated, and he'd attend to the issue. First thing, the next morning he phoned to say that a technician was on the way around to check things out. In no time the doorbell rang. Another gentleman, Brian, had arrived with all the necessary tools. He spent a couple of hours rectifying the problem, possibly not uncommon and understandable on that size of window, especially on a new-build extension which invariably involves a tiny degree of structural settling. He was communicative, pleasant helpful and a perfectionist. Hassle-free after-sales service, so often lacking, is a Godsend especially when dealing with such expensive products. I haven't always experienced this from other companies so contacted Balhousie with bated breath. They were absolutely wonderful. An honourable, helpful, caring and reassuring company. The problem was possibly more a builders issue than theirs but they just shouldered responsibility and got on with it. From now on they will be my 'go to' glaziers in Perth. I couldn't recommend them more highly. I also have no doubt that my rather large and extending family will use them in due course. It is a pleasure to review them. Thank you Balhousie.
