All the windows and patio doors in our 1930s house needed replacing. We chose Barnet Window Company, having been impressed by their reviews, then the initial and follow-up meetings with Tommy, and by the quality of products in their showroom. Because we are in a conservation area and subject to an Article 4 direction, we needed to take care that we chose a style of window that would be acceptable for planning regulations. Following the company's advice, we chose the traditional Evolution Flush design, and within 3 months were given the go-ahead from the Planning Department. The installation work was carried out by Dave and Spencer, both of whom were meticulous and highly professional. The quality of their work is excellent, and it was completed in their estimated time. They arrived punctually, made sure all the furnishings were covered, worked non-stop and took care to clean up at the end of each day. John, the Managing Director, also made daily visits to make sure all was going well and that we were happy with the work. All the old windows/doors were taken away in a lorry at the end of each day. When the work was completed, Andy came round to check that all the locks etc fitted correctly. I have no hesitation in recommending Barnet Window Co. It is a family company with very high standards from start to finish. Their quote was not the cheapest but well worth every penny! The windows look beautiful, fit perfectly, and we are delighted with the results.
