From ordering to installation, we were really pleased with all our communication with this family-run business. The fact that it was a family run was one of the reasons we went to them to install a new front door. I cannot speak highly enough about them. A gem of a company in the times we are living and what a find. All the staff we came in contact with were very pleasant, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Emails and phone calls arrived when they said they would. Sam Richards arrived to install our new door. He introduced himself and considering it was first thing in the morning, he was bright and cheery, very courteous and immediately got on with the job in hand. After installation, he explained what he had done, asked us to open and shut the door and we were very pleased with the quality of his work and professionalism.

Chose to use this trader on recommendation from family member who was full of praise for the work done, From original enquiry about double glazed window replacement until completion there were no hiccups, we had a first visit from Tommy who measured and assessed the work to be done, this was followed up with our plan of works and a quote for the cost. We then had a follow up survey and everything was good to go. Fitting day was earlier than expected due to a cancellation which was great for us, we had Sam as our fitter who was punctual friendly and very good at his job, we had very minimal mess and disruption and he left everything tidy. He then explained the features of the windows and operations and gave us spare keys. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barnet Windows to anyone.

I've just had all the windows in my flat replaced by Barnet Windows and it's been a first-class experience from start to finish. Without exception, every member of the team I met or spoke with has been efficient, knowledgeable, professional and friendly – always going the extra mile to allay any concerns I had. Dave and Spencer did an excellent job fitting the windows and left everything clean and tidy. James visited daily to check how things were going and they all answered any questions I had throughout the installation. We had new front windows installed, in the bay window, upstairs bedroom, and bathroom. Tommy came out to measure, and helped us choose the right windows for what we wanted. On the day of installation, Kim and Sam worked very hard and did an excellent job. They tidied up well, after the work was completed. They were very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. We think Barnet Window Company is a great company. We have used them before, and we will be using them on our next project.

Our previous door from many years ago even before we moved in was starting to fall apart. Gave Barnet Window Company a call and the process was pretty flawless from survey to fitting. Had to chase a couple of times from initial chat to fitting as they did seem v busy but it went v quick once it was surveyed. Team was great at answering questions too. Price was good vs others I checked with.

Spencer and Dave completed the work in just a few hours, ensured that it fitted with existing skirting and spent time making sure we were familiar with the mechanisms and basic care. Thanks very much for the care taken.

Dave and Spencer worked really hard to get our windows fitted in the allocated dates and did a fantastic job. They were very helpful with little extras and cleaned up well after each day. I only had one small window that needed to be replaced. However, Barnet Window Company treated me as if I was spending £££'s. I felt very well looked after. They listened to my brief and the replacement window is just what I needed. I hadn't used them before but I would only use them in the future.

Barnet Windows have just completed replacing all of our windows, along with our front door. The service throughout has been brilliant. Paul who handled the initial visit an estimate was really helpful and informative, without any sales pressure. Steve came around for a detailed survey and was equally helpful and happy to answer any questions. Abigail and April in the office have kept us fully informed on the progress of our order, with installation taking place pretty much spot on with the initial estimated date. The installation itself was carried out by Dave and Spencer. The guys turned up bang on time, let us know exactly what they would be doing to help minimise disruption and worked incredibly hard. They did a brilliant job and left everything clean and tidy. They took the trouble to answer in detail any questions we had and came across as really taking pride in the job. Finally, James turned up each day to ensure all was going well and that everyone was happy with the job.

Spencer Heron from Barnet Window Company installed our new door and did a very good and prompt job. Customer friendly, he explained everything about it once installed. I would recommend this company and Spencer Heron to anyone for new door installation.

We used Barnet windows to replace the majority of our windows in our house. The service was best in class. From the measuring up and getting the quote through to the installation, the company has been nothing but wonderful to work with. Barnet Window Company have recently replaced all of our slowly decaying wooden casement windows with new uPVC sash windows. From the outset they were very easy to deal with, providing a quote that was immediately competitive with a well-known national windows company but without the nonsense of special, time-limited, discretionary discounts, that the larger firms like to use to hide their real prices. The windows were fitted about a month ahead of the originally scheduled date and completed within three days. The installers worked quickly and tidily and we were very pleasantly surprised with how little damage there was to the surrounding paint and plasterwork etc. after completion. We are very pleased with the end result; the new windows together with some other work has completely transformed the appearance of our property. From initial contact with the company to completion of the work, all aspects of our dealings with Barnet Windows were efficient, professional and courteous. The whole process was fully explained and that included choice of materials, timings, costs and potential disruption. The two fitters (Dave & Spencer) were quick, efficient, professional and courteous. The also kept any mess to a minimum and checked with us if any changes were necessary. We are more than happy with their workmanship. They did a great job!

Having received three quotes I chose Barnet. They were not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I was very pleased with the overall standard of service and quality of windows from Barnet Windows. The windows look excellent and have a super feeling of quality about the. The installer, Kim, did a great job. I would totally recommend this company.

Replaced two double glazed windows. Excellent communications via the office and email from start to finish. All staff we had contact with were knowledgeable, polite and efficient and answered any enquiries. We were kept informed of progress throughout. The quality of the product, installation and finish looks good - although we are not qualified to comment on the technical aspects of this. Because of our confidence in the company we did not seek a competitive quote. The price seemed very reasonable to us. Overall we were very satisfied with this company and would have no hesitation is using it again.

A 27 year-old window frame in the loft gable end was removed and a leak between the side panel and sill located. The leak was sealed and a new window installed. Internal access and most of the work took place from the loft stairwell, with external access via scaffolding assembled for roofers. The work was completed as planned, scheduled and budgeted, with the costs of scaffolding covered by a separate, simultaneous roofing contract. The fitter took two hours and also provided additional advice on another window, adjusted the front door hinges and replaced a damaged window sill end plate. The fitter went out of his way to be helpful, was very courteous and explained how best to deal with the leak. I was shown the key steps in the work and could see how the installation took place to ensure it was water-tight. It was a postive experience and a model of professional work, by a company that has done work for us for over fifteen years.

All members of this local company were pleasant and efficient. Communication was good and our questions were patiently answered. A good covid protocol was adhered to. We had all windows and doors replaced by Spencer who worked hard to complete the work to a good standard in 2 days.

Kim and Sam completed the installation of our replacement doors and windows most efficiently and entirely to our satisfaction. It was a pleasure to deal with them and with all the staff of Barnet Windows. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Clean tidy, neat, Kim & Sam were courteous and polite. When I need door or window installers in the future I won't look any further than Barnet Windows.

Sam, the fitter, was efficient, effective and clean. Once he had finished he very helpfully showed me how to turn a window so that it can be more easily cleaned on the outside. He also cleaned out one of our gutters. This was because scaffolding had been erected for the installation of the window, so he could use the scaffolding to access the gutter.

Barnet Window Company replaced all our sash windows recently. Despite heavy rain on the first day of the installation the work was completed within the week. Windows run smoothly and all interior woodwork completed to a high standard. Spencer and Dave were punctual, polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. A little snagging needed doing but was this handled efficiently and courteously. The whole team have been a pleasure to deal with from the initial meeting to installation and post installation contact. I can enthusiastically recommend Barnet Window Company.
