We need to replace our conservatory roof, it was always unusable in the summer and cold in the winter and then it sprung a leak. John of Barnet Windows arranged a site visit and advised us of the options that were available. The option that we thought would work best for us was to fit a proper roof, tiled, insulated and plastered. We really liked the idea and we were very happy with the plans that he provided and the quote. By this time we were already impressed with the company and then they came to do the installation. Wow, just wow. The team at Barnet Windows are so talented. The work is first class and they were so tidy throughout the whole job. Each and everyone one of them really cared about the work and the transformation from unusable conservatory to a wonderful space that is now categorised as an extension has to be experienced to be believed. Even in the recent 39 degree heat the room wasn't much warmer than the rest of our house and in the winter we used our new room very often. Thanks to the whole team, we are delighted with the job.

We were delighted to return to Barnet Windows as they have previously proved to be helpful, effective and accurate in the whole process of keeping appointments, responding to any questions and simply carrying out the fitting as and when booked to do so. No changes in the invoice was made. This time we had a pair of new French doors and a new back door in the kitchen. Kim Morris worked through the day to install these; helpfully working round our needs for access to the areas. He finished an hour or so before expected and every thing was cleared away and left in excellent order. In any contacts the staff introduce themselves by name and gave a clear summary of the invoice and payment schedule. Any question was answered promptly and we are very happy to recommend using Barnet Window Company.

We wanted new bathroom and kitchen windows/door. Tommy stated it may take 12-14 weeks for delivery but it came within 8 weeks. Abbey sorted out the installation date. Sam and Chris did the installation who were very polite and helpful and cleaned all the mess afterwards. There was slight problem with one of the windows after job was completed. April helped us out with that. Excellent job from start to finish.

We contacted Barnet Window Company as we wanted to replace old existing windows in our bedrooms. The whole process was easy, they did not keep us waiting, the customer service is excellent. The surveyor was very polite and efficient. The windows were fitted with minimal disruption, by Kim, who was also very polite and cleaned up all afterwards. One of the windows had a slight imperfection, which we had not noticed, but the company have ordered a replacement at their expense, and we were very impressed. Thoroughly recommend.

We asked Barnet Window Company to replace our 1930's leaded window with a double glaze window with the similar design to maintain the original house design. They completed to work programme in the time period they agreed in the difficult times of Covid19 in 2022. They are efficient and completed the work with a good window fitted by Kim which we really like.

We needed to replace our front three windows and as we had been pleased with Barnet Windows services before we asked them to quote again. It was a competitive quote and we were comfortable that they would do a good job so we proceeded with them. There was good communication throughout the initial ordering process, Abby being particularly supportive and helpful. The delivery day arrived and Spencer the installer arrived very promptly. He laid dust sheets over all the floors and furniture in the areas affected. He removed the old windows with very little mess and damage and set about building the new windows, making good and applying finishing touches. The three windows were in place, rubbish removed and hand over performed within about 6 hours in total. All done on the hottest day so far this year. We are very pleased with our new windows. My large bedroom window was fitted within the time scale originally indicated when placing the order, and throughout the process the service from the various BWC personnel involved was courteous and efficient. The actual installation work was carried out well by Kim, assisted by Andy for a while (and also briefly by myself and a neighbour to help raise the window from the outside to the first floor), and the whole job was completed surprisingly quickly - a couple of hours sooner than I had expected. Kim also cleaned up well with the vacuum cleaner when finished. The window adds a considerable improvement to the room's interior and to the exterior of the house's rear elevation. Thanks to April for her very helpful and prompt response when I reported some minor damage to the stairway walls (following an unsuccessful attempt to carry the new window via the interior). This complaint was quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

I've used Barnet Window Company several times and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. The process is seamless with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Sam fitted the window in question - he turned up on time, was courteous and got the job done very efficiently.

An excellent experience from start to finish. This wasn't the first time that I had used Barnet Windows and I expect it won't be the last. They are highly professional, courteous, communicative and know and understand what customer service is all about. They turned up when they said they would, the quality of their workmanship was excellent, they had one of their management team check over the completed work and all of their staff were polite and evidently keen to ensure that I was satisfied with all aspects of the works. They aren't the cheapest but, as John Ruskin once said, "There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse, and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey." Enough said!

Throughout the duration of the job we received a fantastic service. Andy & Kim, the installers were polite & efficient. Abby, Paul, Steve and April in the office, were excellent during the management of the works. We are very happy with the window - a stained glass unit in the style of the original. Great communication from start to finish. We have used Barnet Window Company few times over the past 18 years and would happily recommend them to freinds and family.

From ordering to installation, we were really pleased with all our communication with this family-run business. The fact that it was a family run was one of the reasons we went to them to install a new front door. I cannot speak highly enough about them. A gem of a company in the times we are living and what a find. All the staff we came in contact with were very pleasant, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Emails and phone calls arrived when they said they would. Sam Richards arrived to install our new door. He introduced himself and considering it was first thing in the morning, he was bright and cheery, very courteous and immediately got on with the job in hand. After installation, he explained what he had done, asked us to open and shut the door and we were very pleased with the quality of his work and professionalism.

Chose to use this trader on recommendation from family member who was full of praise for the work done, From original enquiry about double glazed window replacement until completion there were no hiccups, we had a first visit from Tommy who measured and assessed the work to be done, this was followed up with our plan of works and a quote for the cost. We then had a follow up survey and everything was good to go. Fitting day was earlier than expected due to a cancellation which was great for us, we had Sam as our fitter who was punctual friendly and very good at his job, we had very minimal mess and disruption and he left everything tidy. He then explained the features of the windows and operations and gave us spare keys. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barnet Windows to anyone.

I've just had all the windows in my flat replaced by Barnet Windows and it's been a first-class experience from start to finish. Without exception, every member of the team I met or spoke with has been efficient, knowledgeable, professional and friendly – always going the extra mile to allay any concerns I had. We had new front windows installed, in the bay window, upstairs bedroom, and bathroom. Tommy came out to measure, and helped us choose the right windows for what we wanted. On the day of installation, Kim and Sam worked very hard and did an excellent job. They tidied up well, after the work was completed. They were very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. We think Barnet Window Company is a great company. We have used them before, and we will be using them on our next project.

Our previous door from many years ago even before we moved in was starting to fall apart. Gave Barnet Window Company a call and the process was pretty flawless from survey to fitting. Had to chase a couple of times from initial chat to fitting as they did seem v busy but it went v quick once it was surveyed. Team was great at answering questions too. Price was good vs others I checked with.

Spencer and Dave completed the work in just a few hours, ensured that it fitted with existing skirting and spent time making sure we were familiar with the mechanisms and basic care. Thanks very much for the care taken.

I only had one small window that needed to be replaced. However, Barnet Window Company treated me as if I was spending £££'s. I felt very well looked after. They listened to my brief and the replacement window is just what I needed. I hadn't used them before but I would only use them in the future.

Barnet Windows have just completed replacing all of our windows, along with our front door. The service throughout has been brilliant. Paul who handled the initial visit an estimate was really helpful and informative, without any sales pressure. Steve came around for a detailed survey and was equally helpful and happy to answer any questions. Abigail and April in the office have kept us fully informed on the progress of our order, with installation taking place pretty much spot on with the initial estimated date. The installation itself was carried out by Dave and Spencer. The guys turned up bang on time, let us know exactly what they would be doing to help minimise disruption and worked incredibly hard. They did a brilliant job and left everything clean and tidy. They took the trouble to answer in detail any questions we had and came across as really taking pride in the job. Finally, James turned up each day to ensure all was going well and that everyone was happy with the job.
