Nick painted our gallery hall stairs and landing. Managed the height without difficulty. Turned up on time each morning and worked through the day. didn't require tea, coffee or biscuits! Very pleased with the finish and would recommend him to others.

Nick was no bother to us and got on with the job, which was completed satisfactorily, on time, and to budget.

Initially recommended by our neighbours, this is the second job Nick Millett has done for us. The first being the upgrading of our kitchen lights to LEDs. This job was to re-decorate a small terraced house. Nick has a totally professional approach to his work. He is flexible, works to deadlines and works to a high standard. Nick understood our needs and accommodated the challenges of working around my sick husband in an old house. His advice, especially on the electrical side was invaluable and the end result is perfect. The decorating is outstanding and again his advice on paint was spot on. Nick redecorated our bathroom, hall stairs and and land and our living room. He completed the work, on time on budget and with minimal mess. There was a lot of prep work - our house is almost 200 years old but he made good some difficult walls and woodwork. Nick's a lovely fella, was kind to our dogs and didn't mind them being around. He was extremely keen to know his work was thorough and wanted to make everything exactly as we wanted it. Top job.

Nick painted my kitchen which was not as straightforward as it sounds as I had recently had a new kitchen fitted but the fitters would not do the painting. He is very reliable, knowledgeable, helpful and took care to cover the new floor, worktops and cupboards. He kept to the agreed schedule and quote. I am so pleased to finally have the kitchen finished and I will definitely be asking him to return next year to decorate the rest of the house.

BBS Home Improvements had a great deal of preparation work to do including stripping wall paper and wood paintwork back to basics, including sanding paintwork due to the condition. It is the first job BBS has done for me and I found him helpful with ideas and suggestions. The result of his work carried out is excellent. He covered all areas which also included the stairs for protection and also cleared up after each day. The work was completed on time and as quoted. I now have a lovely room and will use them again for other work. I found them to be a pleasant, polite and trustworthy person and importantly felt very comfortable having him working in my house.

Nick painted our hall, landing, and stairs on three floors as well as several doors and handrails. We were very impressed with his work, which looks fantastic. Nick was very pleasant to deal with throughout and went above and beyond with his help and advice. We approached Nick on recommendation from a friend and found him to be just as good as we were told he would be. Would definitely use again.

Nick was reliable, friendly and professional from the first point of contact. The price he quoted was very competitive, he always came when he said he would, the plastering and painting were done to an excellent standard and he left the room clean and tidy on completion. He told me to contact him if I had any problems after he had left, but there were no problems at all. I was delighted with the standard of work and would thoroughly recommend him for any plastering or decorating job.

I recently had the displeasure of working with Nick this year. He has been very awkward to liaise with. Despite providing us with a quote for painting and decorating the house - a job that we agreed in October to commence on the 12th December - we received very little contact from Nick. Several of our requests by text for an update were ignored, and it was only at 3pm the day before the work was due to commence that Nick phoned us up, suggesting that he was 'reluctant to do the job', and on the call he eventually cancelled the work altogether. His lack of skills in managing a working relationship will now cause us significant delays, as we will need to start from the very beginning to bring new people in and get our home renovation back on track. His demeanor was also very poor whenever we spoke, and unfortunately his arrogance greatly overshadowed any of his abilities as a tradesman. If you are searching for a handyman or decorator, do not choose this man as in my experience he will waste your time and cause substantial delays to your works.

Nick, is a very pleasant man who carried out some remedial painting work which had been done extremely badly by a previous independent decorator. I cannot praise Nicks work enough he is extremely conscientious protects all of the areas he is working in prior to starting and he is dedicated and passionate about getting everything right. I am so pleased with the work he has done for me so far and will be more than happy for him to return to carry out further works. I have now qualms at all in highly recommending BBS Home Improvements

Excellent job done. Nick was extremely helpful especially when I kept adding jobs to the nothing was too much trouble. He always cleaned up at the end off each day. His workmanship is excellent could not fault his work also if I found a problem he soon put it right. Will definitely have him to do any future work and most definitely recommend him to any one I know with complete confidence that he will do a excellent job.

We needed an electrician and found Nick through Which Trusted Traders. Nick came round and looked at the electrical work required, then provided a reasonable written quote, which clearly specified and priced up the job. He kept in touch and arrived as promised on the agreed date/time. He also did some tricky fault finding and put right dangerous wiring. He cleaned up and left everything neat and tidy. We were impressed with his "can do" attitude and his clear explanations of what needed doing. He got on with the work and didn't waste time. We would recommend BBS Home Improvements, in fact we have already arranged for Nick to come and do further work for us.

Nick has just replaced a light fitting for me, a small job but one that he carried out with efficiency, professionalism and interesting chat. He was prompt and very reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend. Thanks very much.

Nick replaced our kitchen MR16 Lamps with GU10 lamps and fittings, plus replaced the defunct MR16 lamp transformers elsewhere in the house. He explained the job required. We agreed amount date and time. Everything proceeded as agreed. He just got on and did the job to time and budget, leaving rooms tidy. All told good job, great guy - Thanks Nick.

Nick spent three weeks painting the exterior woodwork of mine and my neighbours' homes. He provided an honest, fair quote, was always on time and excellent at communication. His work was of an extremely high standard; he showed real pride in what he was doing and his attention to detail was excellent. He is also an extremely friendly and considerate tradesman - a real bonus when he is working at your home for an extended period. I have no hesitation to recommend Nick.

Nick painted the whole interior of my house (including walls, ceilings and woodwork) and did a fantastic job. Being multi-skilled, he was also able to help me with some plastering and electrical work which was meticulous. I haven't had a lot of luck with trades in the past, but found Nick to be personable and very happy to go above and beyond to advise me and make sure that the finish was exactly as I wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Having lost the electrical supply to my garage Nick investigated the cause thoroughly and identified a failed circuit breaker as the root cause. He then sourced a replacement unit as the original had become obsolete and refitted it restoring the power and saving me a considerable amount of money as fitting a new distribution board was avoided. He was extremely helpful and his approach was thorough, professional and he took care to work safely. I will definitely use him again for electrical work and highly recommend him.

Hired Nick from a recommendation from a friend to decorate Small front bedroom. He did an excellent job and I was very pleased with the result. He also left the house clean and tidy afterwards . A friendly reliable chap with high standards of workmanship I would certainly recommend him to others.
