After looking at a number of local North London companies, I asked BBS to install a standard gas central heating system in my house back in Sept 2017. It's now Dec 2019 and two plus years on, very happy with outcome. Bernard of BBS knows his business and initial communication between us when agreeing an appropriate system was excellent. I had a couple of bespoke requirements they were happy to discuss and make practical proposals for, leaving me with a neat and efficient system that keeps my terraced house nice and warm. Important also is aftercare. I'm into winter 3 now and very happy with the system, the annual servicing and the followup support I've had when I've needed it. As good as you could get. No hesitation in recommending.

Every step in the process with Bernard and his team at BBS was simply exemplary. From the initial quote [visit], Bernard clearly demonstrated both his knowledge and his ethos of conducting works to the highest standard. After receiving the (extremely competitive and visible) quote, there was no "sales" pressure; Bernard was more focused on ensuring I understood the quote and the proposed works were right for me. Subsequently, the work was carried out to the highest standard by the competent, polite and friendly team at BBS, whilst any questions I had along the way were dealt with with embodied professionalism; nothing was to much trouble. After experiencing an initial nightmare with British Gas engineers (which resulted in requiring a new boiler), I'm glad I found a team I can trust in BBS.

I don't write reviews often, but I know how important they are when you are looking for a good tradesman. I needed a complete overview of my heating system and was confused by what I had heard and read. I had done lots of research and looked at lots of reviews. The first thing I would say is that Bernard is very knowledgeable and very patient and takes time to ensure you understand what is happening and what is required. He and his team replaced my boiler and carried out other bits of work done incorrectly by previous installers. Any queries I had afterwards were promptly dealt with. He genuinely seems to care about the service he has provided for you and will check back with you to make sure everything is ok. Having experienced shoddy customer care and questionable work from previous engineers, it was very refreshing to work with someone who was the opposite of this and very professional. If you are looking for a professional heating engineer/plumber and want things done properly, and at a competitive rate, then you can't go wrong with Bernard and his team.

We had to replace an old boiler and this team took the time and trouble to investigate and explain the issues before giving us a quote which was more detailed and lower than any other we had. The work was carried out neatly and cleanly and we are very happy with the result.

When I arranged to get a quote from BBS Plumbing, Bernard turned up exactly when he said he would. It was immediately obvious that Bernard knew exactly what he was talking about and when he made suggestions about the work to be done he explained exactly what his thinking was. The work was done to a very high standard and everything was left clean and tidy. If I needed any work doing in the future I would definitely use BBS again.
