Barry had arranged to arrive at 7.30am and arrived on time to start at 8 o’clock I had discussed the job with other tree surgeons who all said how difficult a job it would be as the trees had become very wide over some 60 years. After agreeing the height we wanted then Barry’s colleague was soon getting on with the job in hand. After trimming the sides and ends the height was soon brought down to the agreed level. All the cuttings were quickly being taken to the chipper and reduced into the back of the truck and after a couple of hours the truck was almost full. I can only say that the job was completed in a totally professional manner. The site was left clear and tidy. Barry’s colleague who was doing the cutting finally went round making sure every bit was clipped to his satisfaction. Barry himself would not leave the site until every scrap was picked up. I was very pleased with the price which was as per the quote. I will certainly recommend Barry and his team to friends and family.

I've used Barry and his team 3 times over the last 4 years and they always do a fantastic job. Everything done as asked, and to a high standard, even making suggestions for tidying up parts of the garden I have missed. They work for 4 hours on my garden and are professional, courteous, reliable and very tidy. Even bringing their own flasks of tea / coffee which in my experience is always a very good sign of complete focus on getting the job done! I will continue to use BCS tree services in the future, such professional and reliable traders are a God send.

Having received an excellent pre-lockdown job, I had no hesitation in accepting a quote for further tree work, particularly as it was 50% of the other quote I obtained. The work was assiduous and mostly good but some work was uncompleted without explanation. Mr. Stanton seemed to be angry about something and I later found 1 of my hanging baskets, which I had left on the patio table to be out of the way, upside down on the ground on the other side of the patio and a 25kg bag of mortar (mine) had been put in a plant container, breaking it into pieces. This breakage was not volunteered and when I pointed it out there was no apology or explanation, just a "take it off the bill". If Mr. Stanton had underestimated the work that is clearly not my fault. Had he had said there was more than he anticipated I would have been happy to renegotiate the price.

Barry Stanton's team did a job in my garden yesterday. I was given a price for the job which I considered to be very reasonable, but what the team actually did for the money was great value. They were in and done within a two-hour slot, all rubbish removed, job fully completed to a very high standard. Definitely give them six stars and would recommend without hesitation.

Good points: 1. Prompt and written quote 2. Confirmed date and time of arrival advised, and kept 3. Pleasant staff with attention to detail 4. Left site very clean and tidy 5. No deposit required with payment by either card/cash. Bad points - absolutely none and highly recommended for any tree work.

This is the second time we have used Barry and his team. both times all work has been carried out in a safe and professional manner, with minimal fuss within the time and price quoted. They have taken away all the debris and left all areas clean and tidy. Highly recommended and will be using them again!

Carried out some work on a number of trees in our garden. Very impressed, quick, efficient, cleaned up afterwards. Would recommend them to anyone.
