Bee Builders completed a renovation of a tenement flat for us. The work included a new kitchen, new bathroom, replastering, new laminate floors, some miscellaneous joinery and electrical work and painting and decorating. They also tested the boiler and central heating system. We found Bee Builders great to work with - from quote through to completion of the work. They were very reliable and responsive - always turned up when they said they would and worked hard and quickly through the project. The work was completed to time and in line with the original scope and budget. We are delighted with the quality of all the work carried out. The kitchen and bathroom are well fitted and look great. They were very reasonable to deal with about the small changes to scope that were needed as the project progressed. (And they didn’t even complain about adding glitter to the bathroom paint!) We’re very pleased with all the work across all trades and would happily recommend.

I am delighted with the result of my new wet wall bathroom. The company were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. The work was completed to a high standard. When my old bathroom was being taken out it was found that we had had a leak that had gone undetected for some time. They managed to assess the extend of the damage quickly and produced a revised quote that was complete fair and without issue. It was also completed in the original timeframe dispute the problems with the leak. I highly recommend Bee Builders, I have used them before and will use them again in the future.

We tendered for 3 prices from “Which Trusted Trader”. Having read the outstanding 5 star reviews, we had no reservations accepting Bee Builders competitive quote. We had a leaking shower room, and despite various repairs, was never properly fixed. So keen to appoint the best possible contractor. Bee Builders stripped everything out and discovered wet rot. All timbers and floor removed and replaced with treated timber. Refitted the shower room, retiled walls and floor, fittings, etc and new ceiling and LED lights - all completed in pristine condition. Bee Builders attention to detail, focus on delivering excellent workmanship is highly recommended. The finish is so good it puts the rest of our house in the shade. Delighted with the high quality work and very tidy workmen. Punctuality exemplary and communication with Victor, the owner, is personal and prompt. All in all, very polite, helpful. They go the extra mile and it’s a pleasure to have the team in the house. They deserve 5 stars plus!

My project required the stripping out of my old kitchen, and tiles on walls and floor removed. Then re-plastering, the installing of my new Howdens cabinets, painting, laying new flooring and tiling all had to be done. (Howdens use their own company for the fitting of their quartz worktops). Victor and his team arrived at 8am every morning and worked until at least 5pm every night, barely taking any breaks. Victor is charming and nothing is too much trouble for him. He is a perfectionist and the standard of workmanship is exceptional. Any hitches which occur, Victor tackles them calmly and head on, and always find a solution. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough and I’m just so glad I chose them to do the work.

We’d heard from neighbours about the quality of the work Bee Builders did and didn’t hesitate to contact them when we need our bathroom converted to a shower room. From the moment I contacted Victor, to getting the quote and completing the works, everything was done in quick and timely fashion. Victor and his team recently installed a new kitchen for us (which we ordered from Howdens, on his recommendation, and they did the design and measuring). The job involved various additional things (changing a radiator, some plastering, new lighting) as well as the standard installation of units, tiles, floor etc. Victor came round to assess the job and quote, and offered us a reasonable price and an all-trades service to take care of all the different parts of the job, which was very appealing. We're very glad we went with Bee Builders. The quality of the work is excellent and we are really happy with the finished kitchen. Having work like this done on your home is never fun but Victor and his team were professional and considerate throughout the job, and clear communication (e.g. what time they would arrive each day) also helped keep stress to a minimum. We particularly appreciated Victor's helpful approach when there were minor hitches (not his fault, e.g. a company sending the wrong flooring) - he went above and beyond to keep the work on-track and on-schedule. Unexpected issues that needed fixing (e.g. the ceiling being in a worse state than we realised) were sorted smoothly and reflected fairly in the final invoice. It's clear Victor is really committed to delivering really high quality work that the customer is satisfied with and we will certainly use Bee Builders again in the future.

He did a total refurb of our flat in a listed building. The flat was destroyed as there was rot below the floor in the building supports and in the ceiling and, to top it all the external wall on our level was delaminating and needed to be taken down externally and rebuilt and internally to be treated for damp. Insurance covered some of the work but the flat was left half done and the state it was in left me in tears. Victor and his crew went in and fixed everything. He had previous to this redone our bathroom, this time he rewired, fitted a new heating system, new fitted wardrobes, new kitchen, plastered walls and ceilings and painted them, varnished the wood panelling and shutters and just made me fall in love with the flat all over again. I thought we would sell as I was heartbroken at the state but Victor fixed it all!

I hired Bee Builders to do a complete renovation of my tenement bathroom. I supplied the majority of the materials as I had a particular design, but they supplied things like grout, paint, and other essentials. The guys did a fantastic job, the tiling is beautiful, the finish on the whole place fabulous (even with my tenement bathroom being weird in terms of shape and size) and the work was done within seven days. Every step was very clear, they advised me of what was needed throughout the process and the final product is a wonderfully relaxing bathroom. Would definitely recommend Victor and his team.

We used Bee Builders to carry out some renovations on my daughter's one bed tenement flat. Victor came round to look at the job, made some very helpful suggestions about what was possible and responded promptly to our request for a quote. Work included skimming artex walls and ceilings, replacing skirtings, replacing plasterboard and plastering throughout. New wood flooring was laid in hallway and bedroom. An Edinburgh Press alcove was revealed behind the artex and rebuilt, looks great All! All woodwork and walls were then painted. Some electrical work was also undertaken, including replacing all sockets and switches. Work took 9 working days in late September/early October. My daughter was delighted with the work. Victor was easy to contact, turned up on time and was very professional. He accommodated changes including a decision to remove a modern fireplace out of keeping with the flat. We would definitely recommend Bee Builders and will use them in future.

Victor and his team carried out a full renovation of our living room that involved stripping everything back to beneath the floorboards and the plaster and building everything back, practically from scratch (the room had not been decorated in ~30 years). The result is amazing. We’re absolutely delighted with our beautiful new living room! Victor’s communication was great and at all times he and his team were punctual, professional, tidy, friendly, flexible and accommodating. Victor and the team just completed our bathroom renovation. They did a good job and it looks and works great. Good communication, punctual, polite, tidy. No problem with the kids around. We had a few other items that we needed done including a leaking radiator, which they stayed back to fix. Overall very happy.

The job involved removing the old bathroom fittings and completely changing the layout of the room, including a walk-in shower and new location for the toilet. There were also various unforeseen issues with old pipes and damaged floorboards which they handled quickly and professionally. From very first visit to assess and estimate job, Victor was polite, informative and knowledgeable of what could be achieved in our en-suite bathroom. Requested quotation for extensive bathroom renovation including wet room from Bee Builders. From the beginning Victor was professional and accommodating. Bee Builders were willing to tackle the technical requirements of a wet room and underfloor heating where other bathroom fitters who quoted were not. The team arrived on time and worked continually until the job was done. We purchased all the bathroom fixtures and fittings independently and Bee Builders installed everything. Victor assisted with measurements and checked what we proposed to buy before purchase to ensure it was appropriate size technical requirements etc. Victor even picked up the tiles we ordered from the supplier which was really helpful considering the weight. The job took 5 full days with the team often working from 8am until 7pm. The job was completed on time and within budget and to what I would say was a very high standard. If I had any criticism at all perhaps because the team were focusing on getting the job done on time the communication on one simple thing was missed. This was more to do with my personal preference than any thing technical. Overall we are delighted with the outcome of our bathroom and would therefore definitely recommend Bee Builders to family and friends. We also intend to use Bee Builders again in the near future for other renovation work.

Victor and his team refurbished our upstairs hallway and have made an excellent job. Works included joinery, electrical, plastering and decoration - a great transformation. I'd recommend Victor and the Bee Builders team to family and friends without hesitation. During what is an understandably very busy time for the trade I was able to book a bathroom plastering job within a reasonable time. Victor's communication was excellent and something I'm not used to in the trade as others had indicated they'd be able to help, then went AWOL. Victor assessed the job himself, then got his plastering colleague in to complete the job. On the day of the job there was an additional electrical isolation task required, which I thought may lead to a rebooking, but after the plasterer called Victor he turned up soon after to isolate the wires and allow the job to be completed. I'm happy with the standard of the job and the bill came in not far off the original projection. One thing which is not essential but always a bonus is how friendly Victor and his team were. My wife and I recommend Bee Builders - They rescued a job which other builders had left us high and dry, we were languishing for weeks that dragged into months. This included a potentially very dangerous hole in the front hall. Victor and his team did all that was required of them and more. They problem solved the previous workers’ errors. Victor and his team completely renovated our five bedroom home in the Botanics - repainting every room, wallpapering our kids rooms and re-plastering in places. He also installed several new bathrooms for us, and created a new utility room from scratch. Everything was done to an extremely high standard. He brought on his own electrician who also changed every light fixture and fitting. Victor fitted our kitchen and made a great job of it. He and his staff were helpful and courteous throughout. Victor made several suggestions which improved the aesthetic quality and finish of the kitchen. Several issues arose, which were not of Victor's making, and he resolved them quickly and with skill. Each and every day Victor cleaned up to leave the kitchen and other areas of the house clean and tidy. All rubbish and material was taken away. I recently used Victor and Bee Builders work on the rather outdated living and dining rooms in my new home. The work included removing textured and fake beamed ceilings, completely re-plastering, putting in spot lights, moving of some electrical sockets and creating and tiling a new fireplace. The transformation is unbelievable and i am thrilled with the level of finish achieved. Assessment visit was v impressive: lots of small features and issues spotted a once. V reasonable quote followed very speedily. Victor and his team were professional, tidy, courteous, honest and produced a good standard of workmanship. They offered sound advice on a number of issues that arose (principally to do with the poor service we got from B&Q and their supply chain, which incidentally I would not recommend for doing a bathroom, toilet, en suite). The price and time frame were pretty much as was discussed and agreed. There was a small additional piece of work which they did not seek payment. I have no hesitation in recommending Bee Builders Ltd.

The work consisted in the repainting of the entire exterior of our semi-detached property, including all roughcast stonework and all external timber. It was completed, with impressive efficiency, in less than two working days by a three-person team, and the finished project is of very high quality.

We have just had our kitchen replaced by Bee Builders using Howdens units and including wall tiling and flooring and are absolutely delighted with the result. The standard of workmanship is absolutely superb; Victor and his staff are extremely hard working tradesmen who take a real pride in their work and it shows! Our decision to contact Bee Builders for a quote was based on earlier "Which" reviews, we had not seen any of their work beforehand. Victor appeared knowledgeable, trustworthy and polite and proved to be so (as did his staff) throughout the process. The kitchen Bee Builders replaced had challenges in terms of size, shape, location of doors/windows etc making it less straightforward to achieve the desired end look but all were overcome. Victor made some suggestions in relation to finishing and decorative aspects which improved the appearance of the room, we just LOVE our new kitchen. There were some minor hiccups along the way with some damaged units having been delivered & some changes to the original specification of works but these were all rectified by Bee Builders immediately. Works were carried out on time and on budget and we now have a kitchen which is exactly what we hoped for. The pricing was very reasonable especially given the high standard of work. We would not hesitate to recommend Bee Builders to others, we won't be looking elsewhere for building & joinery works in future.

Having read the good reviews, I contacted Bee Builders (Victor) regarding the replacement of a kitchen worktop. This included fitting a new sink. We communicated via email and he was always quick to respond.His estimate was competitive. The work was completed to a very high standard, and I have been very pleased with the final result. Everything was left clean and tidy. His invoice was exactly as expected. In summary, I was delighted with the work which Victor carried out. The recommendations on the Trusted Traders website are fully justified.

What to say? I supervised work on my daughter’s flat in Glasgow! Somehow it was more stressful than getting work done on my own place! My daughter, I love her, wanted it to be perfect! She was suffering from an overload of work that has had to be done on her place last year so was not in a place where she wanted to deal with it! Victor was a joy to work with! Victor fully refurbished the kitchen in our traditional Victorian house which included stripping out our old kitchen cabinets, plastering and preparing the walls & floors and fitting in new kitchen units, flooring, tiling and painting. Beautiful job of renovating an old and somewhat cramped shower room! Victor and his colleague worked hard to successfully remove old and unsightly pipework and electrics, and hide the replacement services from view. They successfully repaired the rotten joists and floor which were revealed when the old shower was removed, and managed to complete this and the rest of the work within their original timetable. The tiling etc. was done to a high standard and we are very pleased with the end result of their labours. A bonus was their pleasant attitude and helpfulness!

I chose this company to refurbish my flat due to 1) Recommendation. 2) Prompt reply to my query. 3) Polite and respectful plus a quick estimate . Victor and his team were very, very busy bees due to the huge refurbishment of my flat, this involved, new central heating, electrics checked and meter moved. Designing and installing of kitchen and bathroom. The list still goes on, nothing was a problem or issue, whatever I wanted, that's exactly what I got. Victor's customer service is excellent and the work ethos is phenomenal. Summing up, there was no sting and that the guys who tackled my refurbishment were tidy.

The work was removing the existing kitchen fitting new pre-built Wren units, plumbing, flooring, electrical work and tiling. Victor carried out a survey and made some excellent suggestions to which we agreed. He gave a competitive quote for the job and stuck to it. Work commenced on the agreed date and finished in a shorter time than we thought due to their work ethic. Communication on the job and with e-mails worked well. They were well mannered and protected the rest of the house during the work. The kitchen was never left in a mess after the day's work. They worked hard to satisfy their own high standards which was appreciated by us. No real problems were encountered minor ones were solved right away. I was fortunate to get Victor back to fit my bathroom, having done a fantastic job on my kitchen. He has transformed my tenement bathroom. He fitted a floating sink, new toilet, freestanding back to wall bath, floating cabinet, mirror cabinet, fitted modern towel rail and thermostatic shower. He tiled walls and floors to very high standard. He also lowered the uneven ceiling fitting extractor and low voltage lights. I have been left with a bathroom that is beatifully finished at a price that was much cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere. He went the extra mile moving an unsightly mains pipe to behind the toilet. I can not recommend him enough if you’re looking to get your bathroom upgraded. He has highlighted that you can achieve a functional modern bathroom even within relatively confined spaces.

Victor was fantastic from the first phone call until the day he finished the job! On a personal level, he is well mannered, punctual, reliable, trustworthy and very reasonable. He completed a full renovation for us, including a kitchen refurb, painting all walls, replacing doors, fitting laminate floor and tiling. He also did some extras like putting up light fittings and curtain poles. His work is of a very high standard, with a very good finish, I really couldn’t fault him. He even cleaned up afterwards. Kitchen (5x4m) ceiling badly water damaged. Victor provided a very acceptable quote by return, started a couple of days later and within 3 days the ceiling & coving was completely removed and replaced, painted and finished, including some additional lighting. He also patched some holes in the wall and repainted them to match the ceiling. All waste was removed and the kitchen cleaned up when they finished. Brilliant professional, always on time. I'll have absolutely no hesitation in using his company again.

Victor and his team made a complete renovation of our bathroom in two weeks, as scheduled. The work was quite complicated as the space is difficult - but we are very a happy with the result. We found Victor to have a positive and constructive, solutions orientated attitude. Very easy and clear in communication. We had many quotes, and his was by far the most reasonable. Have recommended them to neighbours and friends already.

Victor completely renovated my two bed flat, replacing 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, all the doors and some flooring. He also managed to achieve some fantastic panelled walls and bespoke framing with nothing more than a few photos and my bad sketches. When I decided to get a new bathroom Victor of Bee Builders Ltd was the only person I called as Victor did an excellent job of fitting my kitchen and utility room two years earlier. I wasn't sure what I wanted other than a practical bathroom with a wow factor, Victor gave me some hints and tips for bathroom fittings and fixtures to look out for. The quote was provided quickly and a date for starting agreed. Victor and his team removed all the existing bathroom fitting and fixtures prior to preparing and fitting all the new plumbing and electrical connections needed for the new bathroom. Victor and team completely fitted the new bathroom which included fitting undertile heating, tiled all walls and floor, fitted an easybathing shower bath (from bathstore), wall hung WC and washbasin, radiator, cabinet mirror, bathroom TV and electric toothbrush point, plus new lights and extractor fan. Unfortunately their was a delay with the delivery of the shower bath, Victor somehow managed to rearrange his schedule to accommodate this and minimised the time we were without a bathroom. What I appreciate about Victor of Bee Builders and why I only contacted him is the quality of his workmanship and attention to detail and would happily use him again. He does not cut corners, he accommodates the customers needs even if this means it takes him longer to do something. The job was completed in the number of days Victor estimated it would take and I now am enjoying a stunning bathroom.

I had an en suite bathroom fitted into a Victorian listed flat. The Bee builders team under Victor proved to be highly efficient, professional, reliable, in terms of timing, delivery and quality of work, always providing for solutions discussed together for any problem arising. What I appreciated in particular was the all-in service provided at no additional costs. For example, the new outside walls were painted and decorated as part of the process. The final costs fitted exactly the projected costs despite some required adaptations. I would not have any hesitation in recommending Bee Builders especially for a job that is not standard and requires experience.

Bee Builders installed our kitchen and boxed in an old fireplace. Both jobs were done to an extremely high quality and were finished ahead of time. Victor responded to my request for a quote quickly and was on site the very next day to carry out a survey and forwarded me a very competitive quote the same evening. It was apparent that Victor's priorities were what was best for me rather than what was easiest for him. I will certainly be using Bee Builders in the future.

Bee Builders recently did our bathroom fit out including new wall lining, suspended ceiling, electric underfloor heating, tiling to floors and walls, plumbing, installation of the bathroom suite and other fixtures. Communication was good throughout. The initial quote was a fixed price for a clearly defined scope of work, and Victor was helpful in resolving a few minor problems which came up without additional charge. The main elements of the work were completed within one week and to a high standard of finish, particularly the tiling.

Initially, Bee Builders completely renovated the first floor of our house. One year later the company did the same job (complete renovation) of the ground floor, including addition of two extensions (built from scratch). Excellent job overall. Detailed estimations were always provided in advance at no cost. Also, the company is doing design. Highly recommend them, particularly for bathroom and kitchen installation/renovation.

My house is over a hundred years old and presented a number of on going problems which Victor the owner of the company offered practical and inexpensive solutions. Victor has fully refurbished our kitchen including knocking down a wall and removing a working water tank from the attic. He and his wife provided great advice on the design and modern materials for our new kitchen. The work was carried out efficiently, without a mess and with minimal disruption. During the work we asked for numerous other extras (new doors, etc) to be done and Victor was very accommodating. Overall we are very pleased with the quality of work.
