BeeXpress Plumbing And Heating

Ben has my go to heating engineer for about 2 years now. It was a hard struggle trying to find a reliable engineer, as my house has an unusual combi/dedicated cylinder/radiator skirting setup that uses a variety of Honeywell Evohome controllers. Luckily I discovered BeeXpress via the Honeywell installers service. Ben is VERY informed on not just Evohome, but on all eco friendly and alternative heating sources, he has tweaked my setup and keeps me informed on what my house can/can't install. If he ever stops trading/moves away I think I might cry as he is the only one who "gets" my home. Judith in the office is an absolute dear, who is always friendly and will always update me in good time when the appointments are due/need to be amended in good time. Honestly I cannot recommend BeeXpress enough, they get my vote!

We find Ben friendly, competent and when he gives you a time for an appointment, it's always kept. Should something happen that needs adjusting etc. he comes within a short time, appropriate to the level of urgency and fixes it. He is patient and waits at the end of the job to try and test the efficacy of the job. We are very happy to be in good hands with Ben. The office is competent but I remember vaguely that it's not always plain sailing. Though they iron things out and are always at hand to help you. Alex

Ben installed a new flue to our boiler. The timing was critical because of other building work that followed. He accommodated us at short notice, staying late into the evening to complete the job. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I've used Ben at BeeXpress several times. He always comes when he says he is going to. He's always friendly and knowledgeable. His work always seems good and reliable.

Fixed a leaking shower fitting for us. Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, polite. No hesitation about using them again.

Shower pump packed up: not an emergency, then. After an initial out of hours visit which ascertained the pump was beyond repair, I ordered a new one and Ben came to fit it at a couple of working days notice. Since this was right in the Christmas/New Year period, that was in our view impressively good, and we are delighted with the results.

The heating dial on my boiler broke before Christmas. I contacted BeesXpress and was offered an appointment after work hours within a few days. However because I am considered Covid vulnerable by age and for health reasons I wanted a day time appointment so that I would be able to have windows open for some time etc. I was given a morning appointment for what I think was probably Bens first day back to work after the holiday. He was able to fix the problem very quickly also checked the boiler for another issue that had arisen. I asked Ben to wear a mask which he did without quibbling. (I have had a bad experience with another workman who didn’t want to wear a mask). As I have had several problems with the boiler I spoke to Ben about replacing it. He gave me some advice and information but did not in any way try to push me into getting a new boiler. I recommend BeeXpress only not too loudly as I think he is busy and I would like to think he will be there if I need him again!

After months of failed appointments, and unreturned phone calls from others, I was recommended to Ben by a friend. He dropped by and diagnosed the issue easily. A clear quote followed. Ben then attended on the booked in date, worked diligently, and stayed till the job was completed past 7.30pm. Ben was pleasant and professional throughout. His work exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Ben worked well, as far as we can tell. He is a pleasant man. He explained carefully what he was doing, including showing us the problem with the limescaled heat-exchanger. His office communicated with us very well by phone and email, including when the overrunning of an earlier job meant that the main work, unfortunately, had to be rescheduled for a later day. All charges were explained initially, and professionally followed through. It seemed to us that both Ben and his office are really trying hard to offer a good service.

The boiler and radiators needed attention as the central heating was not working. Now it is. Ben at BeeXpress is very competent and very professional, he ensured the work was done to a high standard. Excellent work, very professional and recommended.

Have used ben and his company for a number of years now for both myself and other family members. I can't speak highly enough of the service he provides at a good price but as I have said before more importantly you can trust him to not only do a good job but to give you honest advice which can be difficult to get at least in my experience. If you need a plumbing job done give Ben a ring you will not be disappointed I promise you.

Ben had repaired out old boiler when it broke down in July 2020. This had involved replacing the pump. It stopped working again ten months later and Ben again found the pump to be the problem. I was told the pump was under 12 month guarantee by the supplier, but expected to have to pay the labour for investigation and replacement. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to be told that the labour would also be free under their own guarantee and so I had nothing to pay. [Although I was told they had changed their policy this year they honoured the terms at the time the initial job was done without any prompt from me.]

BeeXpress replaced plastic piping in my kitchen, which was done in an excellent and professional way. Very reliable.

He was very precise, coming at the time arranged. He changed my boiler programmer, flushing problems on one toilet as well as other jobs. I will be pleased to have Ben to do plumbing jobs for me again when needed. I also want to say, that Judith, the secretary I spoke to, was extremely kind and helpful. This was the first time I used Ben. and it will not be the last.

Chris arrived on time, he was pleasant and carried out the work efficiently and well. We had saved up several small jobs: he replaced 3 old stopcocks, a tap, some piping and tap heads and we were pleased with the results.

The work was carried out at the time arranged. It was accomplished very competently and speedily.

Ben is our go to gas heating engineer and plumber. He is thorough, patient and pleasant and his admin team is extremely efficient. He's also a very good plumber/gas heating engineer and knows his stuff. I'd trust him to fix any problem, recommended.

On two occasions Ben provided expert advice to plumbing issues. He provided great recommendations on boilers, heating, bathroom and other pipework throughout our house. He's 100% honest and came out late at night on request. Highly recommend.

BeeXpress installed our new boiler a few years ago and have subsequently replaced some old radiators and carried out repairs and a service. We contacted them on 26th May about a problem. They sent an engineer the next day who carried out a temporary repair and replaced an item. He returned a few days later to complete the work. We have always found this company to be courteous, very efficient and, knowledgeable. Given the fact that this repair was carried out during the coronavirus lock-down, the engineer took all recommended precautions at all times. We were highly satisfied.

We called Beexpress when water started pouring through the ceiling from the loft where our water system is stored. Beexpress came quickly and were extremely efficient. He fixed the problem (leaky pump) in no time at all.

Ben did a great job power flushing our 'dead' system! Now we've full heating and hot water. Ben is a very considerate and experienced engineer, charges a fair price, and did the work to a high standard - and on budget.
