Yorvik Windscreens are a York based automotive glazing company covering all areas of York, Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, Selby, and all surrounding areas.
Our professional team with over 20 years service, will ensure that our work provides immediate service at competitive prices to get you back on the road as soon as possible. We are a fully mobile service meaning you never have to wait around at a depot while your car gets repaired, we come to you at a time and place of your convenience.
If you are fully comprehensive insured we are linked in with most of the top insurance companies enabling us to keep the cost down for you, if you don't have cover we can also give you a competitive quote.
We also specialise in all makes and models of classic cars, whether its a full glass removal for restoration or just re sealing leaking windows. We can also offer our glass polishing service which can remove marks and scratches from the glass.

We had called and left a message on Monday (Bank Holiday); Ben called us back on Tuesday, said he could replace our windscreen on Friday, which was perfect. He then called on Thursday to say he could do it the same day, and by the time I got home from work it was done. First rate service, work, and price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, or to use them again. Absolutely first class.

I provided the windscreen rubber supplied by East Kent Trim and this was fitted by Yorvik Windscreens. The two-man team arrived ahead of schedule on the appointed day and worked fast and efficiently, exercising great care and thoroughness in the removal of the existing rubber and windscreen. The new rubber was fitted, the windscreen re-installed and abundant sealant used to guarrantee it was completely waterproof. I am very pleased with the result of their work. The job was done with great care and thoroughness, and the installation left clean and tidy when they were finished. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone requiring this kind of work.

Contacted this company on a Sunday afternoon about my car window having been smashed. Contacted me back promptly and organised to come out the next morning (Monday). Fitted my new window within half an hour, even vacuumed up the remaining glass that I hadn't been able to sweep out myself from the previous window. Very reasonable price compared to elsewhere I had enquired, and a local, independent tradesman so a win-win.

Buying a VW Transporter and looking for someone to put dark glass window in back and both sides. Rang Jorvik Windscreens nd spoke to Ben who advised and helped me decide what would be the most suitable - he promised to ring me back with a price which he did within 30 mins. Price was lower than I had expected and the whole process from ordering to fitting went smoothly. Work is now done and the job is fantastic, very good workmanship. I emailed Yorvik Windscreens about some deep scratches on my windscreen to which they recommend that I replace it. Price quoted was very reasonable and about 1/4 of the cost quoted from a major repair company. Correspondence was quick and professional and I got an appointment really quickly. Unfortunately is was working on the day but they offered to come to my place of work and conduct the replacement which was really helpful. The guys took around 40mins to replace the windscreen and it looks amazing. No leaks, no damage which a professional install. I would highly recommend Yorvik Windscreens.

Contacted Jorvic windscreens as I wanted to have a rotary vent fitted to my pickup canopy. From first contact via the phone until the work was completed, their customer service was excellent. Stuart handled my query, he was really helpful and honest about about the job and made sure I was updated regularly (from order to arriving at my home address to fit the vent). I am really pleased with the vent, which was fitted quickly and cleanly. Would definitley recommend.

My car had been off the road, under cover due to a leaking windscreen above the driver's side, for 2 weeks. Contacted many windscreen repairers via email & answerphone & not one company got back to me. We put a ' can anyone recommend a local windscreen repairer? ' online. Yorvic Windscreens LTD was recommended straight away. Rang them on Tuesday 13.12.22. They arranged to come out, first call, the following day. They showed me what the problem was. There was no sealant from the top 5-6 inches to all the way down that same driver's side. No wonder I'd had a problem with it! Anyway. They fixed it, pronto. The two gentlemen were extremely professional and polite. I can't thank them enough for attending to the problem so quickly. I can now drive my car again.
