About
I would like to say a little about myself and my business. I have 30 years experience in the Painting & Decorating trade, working my way up to foreman at a small quality decorating firm, before making the choice to become self employed in 2009. In the years since, I have made constant progress, in both the way I work and the tools and materials I have incorporated into my working practices. I use a dustless sanding system that eliminates the majority of dust that is associated with preparation, which is both cleaner and better for my own and my clients health. Where possible, all paints are water based which is better for health and also the environment. If the environment is a concern I can also source paints that are organic and have zero VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), creating as little environmental impact as possible. Unlike a lot of tradesmen I give a fixed date for starting a job and a date when the job will be finished, allowing the client the freedom to make plans around those dates.

From the first point of contact with Ben I found him to be friendly, approachable and professional . Work arranged: Main bedroom ,office, hall/stairs/landing,kitchen. He arrived promptly each day, each area was tidied as much as was possible prior to leaving for the evening. He scheduled the work and kept to the arrangements. I was blown away on realising he had re hung my bedroom curtains on completion of that room ( wow) Quite honestly, Ben has been like finding that Fabulous Restaurant that you really don’t want to share in case you struggle to get a table! “ High Class “ indeed

Ben did an excellent job stripping & redecorating 2 rooms for us, including addressing some unforeseen issues on stripping away the old wallpaper. He and his mate were punctual, hard-working, and very friendly. We have used them before, and if the need arises in the future we will definitely use them again.

We are very impressed on the way Ben worked,his preparation was great,he made sure everything was covered before starting and was very tidy,tiding up after each day.He explained everything he was going to do,he came on the day he said he would and came every day 8am till the job was finished,he used the highest quality decorating products,and on completion we could tell,because it looks brilliant and we are thrilled with it.The price he gave us,is the price we paid,no hidden extras.When he had finished,he said if there was any problems to ring him,I would highly recommend Ben as he was very professional and meticulous with his work.

Ben prepared and painted the ceiling of our recently refurbished large conservatory. We are extremely happy with the job. His work is to a very high standard with attention to detail and he uses top quality paint products that give a lovely professional finish. Ben was very approachable with a polite friendly professional attitude as well being reliable and on time. The flooring and any furniture was well protected with dust sheets and everything was cleaned up after the job. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ben, as he is a first class painter and decorator.

Ben recently redecorated my kitchen. It is totally transformed, and I am delighted with the completed work. His work is of a high standard, and he certainly merits the title trusted trader. Ben was pleasant, efficient, and reliable throughout. He worked to schedule and caused minimum inconvenience and disruption. He ensured the kitchen was serviceable when he left in the evening. The finish on the painting is the best I've ever seen. Excellent and efficient service from Ben from start to finish The work was completed to a very high standard and on time, I Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ben to friends and family The finished job was beyond my expectations beautiful results. Due to a burst destroying my house, it needed a complete redecoration. Having used Ben previously my a recommended him, as an ideal person to do the job. Unfortunately, due to his reputation, for the quality of his work, I did have to wait some time before he was available. Extremely reliable, he kept to the agreed work schedule, and completed the work on time. I was not disappointed as I have been extremely impressed both by his thoroughness, and the quality of his work, which were both excellent. Personally daunted by having the decorating completed alongside other renovations, it was reassuring to have someone I could trust. Ben was very supportive throughout the whole process, and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We?ve used Ben for the last 3 years, to decorate rooms throughout the house. He?s done an amazing job on our living room, master bedroom, kitchen and dining room. Most recently, Ben redecorated our spare bedroom - all paintwork, ceiling, and walls, including a feature wall that we wanted him to use an unusual effect on. We?d also ripped out wardrobes and moved radiators and electrics, so there was a fair amount of prep and repair work to be done. He did an amazing job. He even brought us example patches of the feature wall effect ahead of time, so we could see how it would look and choose the exact look we were going for. The room looks amazing. Ben is always such a thorough and precise craftsman, and really takes care in your home. We will be using Ben throughout the rest of the house, and would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone.
