Ealing Electricians LTD have been operating in Ealing and surrounding areas for over a decade.
The company was started by Benjamin Gilbert who has worked at his fathers company throughout his electrical career, where he learnt only the best in electrical standards of work, Benjamin now strives to keep this level of standard available throughout his home town of Ealing and surrounding areas (Acton, Greenford, Wembley, etc).

The electrics in my house were a mess (inherited from a previous owner). I was very impressed with the service provided by Benjamin Gilbert and his team. Benjamin and Harry installed two new light fittings and a plug socket. They were incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. They did a brilliant job and left everything spotless afterwards. Despite being particularly busy, as we were flexible with times, they were able to make time and fit us in between other jobs. I would highly recommend Benjamin and Harry and will be using them again whenever I require electrical work.

We needed several electrical fittings either repaired or replaced at a community centre. Benjamin arrived on time, and reviewed and advised on the best way to proceed with remedial works without incurring unnecessary extra costs. Benjamin did an electrical test and produced Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) which was clear and thorough, outlining all remedial work. He gave a quotation for the remedial work that included a discount. He carried out the remedial work to a very high standard. He went the extra mile to correct poor quality work that was performed by a ‘cowboy’ electrician. When remedial work was completed, fail codes were removed from the certificate to show full compliance with regulations. Benjamin is very good at managing customer relationships and he is an excellent professional and communicator I highly recommend him and for sure I will use his service in the future.

I had royally screwed up putting in skirting board which was too close to the existing plug sockets but Benjamin was able to rectify my mistake using the pattress boxes and new plug sockets we ordered. We are delighted that we've now got working sockets and we didn't have to rip the brand new skirting board off! Benjamin is always on time, clear, concise and gets the over arching point of any one job. We will continue to use him as we renovate our house and I would highly recommend to anyone!

The electrics in my kitchen failed and as soon as I contacted Benjamin he responded explaining that he would try to fit in a visit on Saturday when he returned to work. Benjamin went the extra mile to visit when he said he would, after completing his planned work schedule for day. He explained what he was doing and why and methodically worked through the circuit to find the cause. His friendly helpful attitude and professional expertise in finding the problem, then providing a solution with addition advice was invaluable. At a time when electricians have a long list of jobs in hand I was fortunate to find Benjamin and would heartily recommend him.

Was impressed by Benjamin’s polite, efficient, knowledgeable and effective service. He fitted a new ceiling light which had been considered too heavy without a brace and replaced and fixed bathroom ceiling spotlights some of which had not been working for sometime. His charges are clearly displayed on the website and he had all necessary, even the unexpected, replacement parts in his van. The electrical work done was to change to light fittings and a downstairs toilet light fitting. Also to investigate a problem with the garden lights which had fused on other occasion's Very efficient and informative included me in the decision making . Made recommendations to improve an electrical issue but there was no pressure to peruse further work if i was not satisfied . I found Benjamin and his assistant very professional, friendly and considerate They cleaned and cleared away as they were working . Benjamin was recommended by a friend on my road. He was very accommodating, trying to fit our small job in between other big contracts. He gave us a two-hour window very soon after calling him, then let us know exactly when he would be here. I needed a run of under-cupboard lights underneath my kitchen cabinets, as well as replacement of a ceiling fitting. LED lights give me migraines and Ben was very helpful with sourcing suitable fittings for me. Benjamin came and replaced a smoke detector a heat detector and 2 new shaver face plates. He tested the circuits first before replacing the units and kept me informed of what he was doing as he went. I also asked him to have a general look at the electrics to see if there were any obvious issues. He highlighted a wire which had been signed off at the right thickness on the original install documentation but which was not actually correct. He replaced the wire with one with the correct thickness. This wasn't a full blown test just a general visual inspection. I was happy he did what I wanted him to do and he charged me what I expected. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Very happy to have found Benjamin and would thoroughly recommend him. From his first visit he was very thorough when explaining what needed to be done and gave me a good idea of the costs ahead and then after completing an EICR test a few days later, providing a full quote. I had a smart new consumer unit fitted, some old unsatisfactory cabling replaced and some bonding added. Benjamin and his brother Alex were professional and friendly throughout, a mix that’s hard to find. They even fitted a new kitchen light on the day at my last minute request! Highly recommend.

The RCD in our fusebox was tripping and would not reset. We called Benjamin Gilbert following a local recommendation via facebook. I was expecting the problemto lie with the RCD itself. They traced the fault carefully to its source which was in fact ingress of water in to a socket from a leak from the boiler. Our boiler engineer subsequently traced this to a leaky diverter valve. At all times they kept us appraised. They also spotted some unsafe work done by a previous installer and offered to make it good which they did quickly for a fair price.
