It was the first time (and it will not be the last time) that I used the service of Ealing Electricians Ltd. I was very pleased with the service and work received from this local company. My customer experience was perfect. I met a friendly and knowledgeable team that worked fast and efficient. Benjamin and his 2 colleagues Nick & Harry arrived on time. I was contacted 20 minutes prior to arrival via SMS. After confirming and discussing my requirements (installation of 2 power sockets in & outside of my house, fixing bathroom and kitchen lights), Benjamin immediately checked the issue in my bathroom. He found all the issues in less than 5 minutes, showed and explained what was wrong and how best to repair it. He had all the required materials e.g. new LED lights, power sockets and cabling with him. He instructed the team what to do and the work started. I noticed a good team spirit and that Benjamin, Nick and Harry are working very well together. Benjamin reviewed the work his apprentices executed and ensured that it was delivered to the best and high quality standard. The team removed all the rubbish and cleaned up before they finished. In addition to the performed work, Benjamin made me aware of additional work and the need for a new EICR that I might want to consider. To summarise I had a perfect customer experience, received an excellent service with quality workmanship at a fair price. I will use Ealing Electricians Ltd. again and can recommend them.

Carried out electrical works / maintenant. This is the second time we used them. Timely, very clean (wear overshoes indoors), pleasant, polite and very helpful in finding most cost effective solutions. They work very quickly as and communicate very clearly what they are doing or going to do.

Ben and his apprentice did a great job of sorting out my under stairs wiring. It’s good to see established businesses bringing along the next generation. They worked quickly but conscientiously, even pointing out things out to me and answering whatever questions I had. There was hardly any cleaning up to do once they had finished. The pricing structure was explained to me even though it’s all made clear on their website. I would definitely recommend them.

A sudden total power cut today left me astonished as consequently nothing in the house was functioning - not even my hot water. None of my neighbours had the problem. I called Benjamin's office number and received a return phone call very promptly. After sending the requested photo of my fuse box to Benjamin he quickly realised what had occurred and solved the issue over the phone. I am so appreciative of his courteous response and willingness to assist immediately, even though he was in the middle of another job. I have used Benjamin for electrical work before and will most certainly request his skills again. First class electrician!

I woke up to no power at 6.45am on a Saturday morning on a bank holiday weekend and Benjamin called me back 3 minutes after I left him a message and helped me isolate what the issue was and helped fix it over the phone. I didn’t need him to visit but when I need an electrician in the future I will be in touch. So helpful, polite and caring - I’ve already recommended him to my neighbours. His service was faultless.

Benjamin, Harry and Matt (both apprentices) attended my premises to help me with a broken dimmer switch in the kitchen and a total conversion to Warm LED lights (instead of the 13 Halogen bulbs/system I had there. They were super efficient and got the job done promptly. Benjamin has come to my house on a couple of other occasions - once for an outdoor light system and the other time to add an outdoor plug. He is up on all the modern electrical plugs, sockets etc. - who knew you could get programmable dimmer switches? The website is transparent - it shows prices of work, which is unusual in these times. You know what you're in for. I shall definitely use Ealing Electricians again - not only because the work is always excellent - but also to support a local tradesperson. (Shout out to Harry and Matt - thank you for supporting Benjamin!).

The electrics in my house were a mess (inherited from a previous owner). I was very impressed with the service provided by Benjamin Gilbert and his team. It was a major job, but they were completely professional, explained all that was necessary as well as what was not, thorough in all they did. They were polite, charming and worked very neatly. They completely won my trust and I would not consider using anyone else.

We needed several electrical fittings either repaired or replaced at a community centre. Benjamin arrived on time, and reviewed and advised on the best way to proceed with remedial works without incurring unnecessary extra costs. Benjamin did an electrical test and produced Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) which was clear and thorough, outlining all remedial work. He gave a quotation for the remedial work that included a discount. He carried out the remedial work to a very high standard. He went the extra mile to correct poor quality work that was performed by a ‘cowboy’ electrician. When remedial work was completed, fail codes were removed from the certificate to show full compliance with regulations. Benjamin is very good at managing customer relationships and he is an excellent professional and communicator I highly recommend him and for sure I will use his service in the future.

I had royally screwed up putting in skirting board which was too close to the existing plug sockets but Benjamin was able to rectify my mistake using the pattress boxes and new plug sockets we ordered. We are delighted that we've now got working sockets and we didn't have to rip the brand new skirting board off! Benjamin is always on time, clear, concise and gets the over arching point of any one job. We will continue to use him as we renovate our house and I would highly recommend to anyone!

The electrics in my kitchen failed and as soon as I contacted Benjamin he responded explaining that he would try to fit in a visit on Saturday when he returned to work. Benjamin went the extra mile to visit when he said he would, after completing his planned work schedule for day. He explained what he was doing and why and methodically worked through the circuit to find the cause. His friendly helpful attitude and professional expertise in finding the problem, then providing a solution with addition advice was invaluable. Was impressed by Benjamin’s polite, efficient, knowledgeable and effective service. He fitted a new ceiling light which had been considered too heavy without a brace and replaced and fixed bathroom ceiling spotlights some of which had not been working for sometime. The electrical work done was to change to light fittings and a downstairs toilet light fitting. Also to investigate a problem with the garden lights which had fused on other occasion's Very efficient and informative included me in the decision making . Made recommendations to improve an electrical issue but there was no pressure to peruse further work if i was not satisfied . Ben and his hard working team undertook my EICR, the remedial work required and several additional installations. They combined attention to detail with flexibility and a good-humoured approach, and I appreciated the clear explanations of what needed to be done, and why. Will definitely use Ben again.

Benjamin was recommended by a friend on my road. He was very accommodating, trying to fit our small job in between other big contracts. He gave us a two-hour window very soon after calling him, then let us know exactly when he would be here. He arrived with two colleagues - they were all polite and Benjamin himself was very engaging and respectful. They worked quickly and did great work and the bill was very competitive. I wish he did lofts and gardens too.

Great customer service and knowledge. When you call them, you know they will answer or get back to you. Spotted the problem instantly and suggested a fix. Might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. 5 star service all the way.

Work was to move/replace some existing power sockets to new recessed locations in the wall. Some extension and rewiring was required to do this. The work was done promptly and efficiently by Benjamin and his brother in the previously estimated time. Happy with the result - a job well done.

I needed a run of under-cupboard lights underneath my kitchen cabinets, as well as replacement of a ceiling fitting. LED lights give me migraines and Ben was very helpful with sourcing suitable fittings for me. He was punctual, kept me informed of progress, turned up on time and did the work very proficiently and to my satisfaction. His invoice was clear and he kept to his quote. I recommend his company wholeheartedly.

Benjamin carried out an EICR and remedial work in a flat I own in North Greenford. All work completed to a very high standard, on time and at a reasonable price. An excellent attitude and work ethic demonstrated and a willingness to go above and beyond for his customers. Highly recommended.

Benjamin came and replaced a smoke detector a heat detector and 2 new shaver face plates. He tested the circuits first before replacing the units and kept me informed of what he was doing as he went. I also asked him to have a general look at the electrics to see if there were any obvious issues. He highlighted a wire which had been signed off at the right thickness on the original install documentation but which was not actually correct. He replaced the wire with one with the correct thickness. This wasn't a full blown test just a general visual inspection. I was happy he did what I wanted him to do and he charged me what I expected. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Very happy to have found Benjamin and would thoroughly recommend him. From his first visit he was very thorough when explaining what needed to be done and gave me a good idea of the costs ahead and then after completing an EICR test a few days later, providing a full quote. I had a smart new consumer unit fitted, some old unsatisfactory cabling replaced and some bonding added. Benjamin and his brother Alex were professional and friendly throughout, a mix that’s hard to find. They even fitted a new kitchen light on the day at my last minute request! Highly recommend.

The RCD in our fusebox was tripping and would not reset. We called Benjamin Gilbert following a local recommendation via facebook. I was expecting the problemto lie with the RCD itself. They traced the fault carefully to its source which was in fact ingress of water in to a socket from a leak from the boiler. Our boiler engineer subsequently traced this to a leaky diverter valve. At all times they kept us appraised. They also spotted some unsafe work done by a previous installer and offered to make it good which they did quickly for a fair price.

Benjamin has completed many electrical jobs for us, most recently replacing 4 bathroom lights and installing a dimmer switch. He is always reliable, friendly and polite. He is very knowledgeable and makes helpful suggestions regarding solving problems. Always leaves place tidy and wears a face covering etc.

The bathroom light switch was a string switch which duly broke a few days before Christmas while in tier 4. I couldn't fix it or turn it off. Benjamin and his brother managed to fit us into their very busy schedule. They were neat, tidy and very efficient. And very lovely guys
