Bennetts Removals & House Clearances

John came and viewed our home and advised us how best to move, bringing us boxes to pack in. Over time we packed our boxes so we were ready for move day, our freezer, washing machine and furniture was removed, effortlessly so it seemed, and then all those boxes. Within 90 minutes our house was empty. On to our new home where once the previous owners were out all our furniture and boxes were moved in. I cant praise John and his crew highly enough they were all professional but friendly and kind which at my age was appreciated

Bennetts removals were recommended by a friend as we needed house clearance for my mums house after she died. John was extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The whole process was very smooth and really fantastic service. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Bennetts.

We used Bennetts for our house move at short notice due to the original company we had, not being available for the moving date. How lucky were we. Bennetts (John) came over on the same day I spoke to him to take a look and agreed to adhere to the original quote we had from another company. I wasn't looking to try make money just get a reliable company to help us move. John went above and beyond offering and disassembling all our big furniture (something the other company weren't going to do) aswell as providing us with boxes (something I doubted we would need... I was wrong). Throughout John was about via WhatsApp to ask stupid questions and on the day the whole team were just brilliant and putting two new movers at ease. They even helped us with different appliances in the new house and moved a double bed that was already in the house to a different bedroom. I couldn't recommend Bennetts enough. I hope we never move house again but whenever we need something done that fits under the Bennetts umbrella I'll be using them. Thanks John and team couldn't be happier.

John and his team did an excellent job of clearing my father’s house in Barry. Every room was cluttered and they cleared it all leaving the house spotless. John organised much of the contents to go to auction (including a specialist auction house) which was most helpful. Would recommend Bennetts for house clearance to anyone. They showed great integrity and were willing to deal with an absolutely packed loft space. They were absolutely brilliant.

If you are looking for a professional dedicated friendly Company to move your home and possessions then look no further I cannot recommend John and his team highly enough. We originally used Bennett’s 23 years ago to move home and they were fantastic so obviously when we were on the move again it was clear we would hopefully look to use them again. Could not believe it when I called him he answered addressing me by name. After all the time that has passed, I was not expecting that so it was a really nice personal touch in fairness, from the minute I contacted John and the first visit he made everything so easy, supplying us with all the necessary boxes, tape etc. and was always available on the end of the phone for any questions. As we were having works carried out to our new home we secured storage through John for three months which we were very impressed with from the ladies in the office to the easy access to the storage facilities day or night should we require it, the container was large, dry and airtight and three months later it was brought back to us in perfect condition as not having used storage in the past was a bit apprehensive but absolutely no need to be it was completely fine. On the day of our moves, John and his team were on time everything was packed and covered up with such care and commitment that it was faultless the whole team was so professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble 23 years ago they were amazing and they still are definitely 5 stars.

I have moved many times but have just had the best experience with Bennett’s. They were professional and reliable. Their cheerful helpfulness made the process much less stressful. They made helpful suggestions of things to help my move go more smoothly and went the extra mile in many ways (even swept the garage in my new home!) John and his team recently helped with my relocation from the city to the country, as well as helping to relocate my 87 year-old dad who hadn't moved for 60 years. From the moment John came to look at the job, I had confidence that I was in safe hands. Some companies just quoted without seeing the work involved (a non-starter) but John took time to look at everything, listen to my concerns and understand what was important to me. He was completely unfazed by anything, even though the move was complex involving a 70-mile relocation, potential access issues at the new property, moving some things to a different rental property which I was keeping on, and then travelling to west Wales to retrieve many of my dad's things before bringing them to Worcestershire. He was very patient at a highly stressful time. He and the team worked like Trojans, nothing was too much trouble, and he was extremely pleasant to have around. We will doubtless use John and his team again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

John moved my parents about 18 months ago and so they recommended John and his team when we moved house recently. The move went very smoothly and efficiently, so would happily recommend his services.

John quoted to move us out of our house in stages - it was a bit complicated and fiddly with some stuff going into storage on one date, other stuff to our new house on another. He worked with all that complication. His quote was suspiciously good. He also saved us a lot of hassle by sorting the storage. That was also incredibly competitively priced. We were actually a bit worried that the price was too good! We needn't have been. John and his team are excellent at whole house removals. They were able to fit around unexpected timing changes caused by people we were buying from. They were extremely calm and all had a really "can-do" attitude which you need at a stressful time like moving! They did some box-packing for us and we wished afterwards that we'd trusted them to do all of that as it was careful and thoughtfully done. Everything, large and small, arrived at our new home in the same condition it had left the old one - John even suggested people to fix some of our wonky old furniture who were also great! 😁😁 John's since brought his team over to move a few things around within our house when they've been to big for us to move ourselves. He's been so kind and it's actually a pleasure having him and his team around! I would absolutely use Bennett's Removals again. They were faultless.

John and his team very kindly gave up their time to help out their local community centre. We put out a request to ask for help moving our commercial fridge which we use for our free food programme and John replied saying they would do it for free. Not only did they do it for free, they turned up at very short notice. They were very professional, helpful and managed to carry out quite a difficult task. I would highly recommend them as a removals company.

Moving 2 houses in to 1 was no mean feat but John and his lads made it an easy and stress free experience. Bennett's Removals helped us with part of our move last week, coming around at short notice to get our sofa into the house through a window. They were very friendly and efficient, knew exactly what they were doing and left no mess. We'd highly recommend them for anyone moving.

Bennets moved us to our bungalow 18 months ago which could have been extemely stressful after 30 years in the same house. Their calm professional approach and efficency smoothed the way.
