About

More Than Loft Ladders started out in Bolton back in 2007, installing loft ladders and hatches – as well as boarding out attics – in homes throughout Lancashire. Since then, the company has grown from a small, local outfit into a truly national brand with a network of loft ladder installers throughout the UK. Importantly, though, MTLL has always stayed true to its roots, choosing to grow by recruiting trusted, local franchise partners in every region. These local business owners, all operating under the More Than Loft Ladders brand, make sure each and every customer gets the same, consistent high standard of service and care.

The speed of the installation of flooring, shelving, lighting and ladder was impressive - all completed professionally in less than one working day and at a competitive price. I would recommend them for their products and service.

Andy is very professional and works to a very high standard of workmanship. The job was to extend an existing loft hatch and fit a loft ladder. Very straightforward until he got into the loft. It is a 30's semi-detached house and he discovered the ceilings were bowed. This had been caused by whoever fitted the original hatch failing to secure the cut joists to the hatch. Andy therefore had to do extensive work to cut and fit the new hatch and then ensure the joists were all correctly secured. Once Andy had fitted the new hatch the ceiling had to be over-boarded and plastered. Only then could Andy come back and fit the architrave. All this and he stuck to the original estimate. Andy is a great bloke and nothing is too much trouble. I have no hesitiation in recommending him.
