I have used Bingley Roofers several times. On this occasion they had to work alongside a solar panel company (Leeds Solar). There was unexpectedly bad weather which delayed things from time to time but that was unavoidable and both companies came back and resumed work promptly when the rain stopped. As far as I can tell they did a good job, it certainly looks good and there has been some rain since they finished with no sign of leaks. On a previous job they did for me several years ago (a difficult job) there were some residual leaks and the thing I really liked about Bingley Roofers is that they always came back very quickly, usually the next day. There was never any quibble and they persevered until I was completely satisfied with the job. A very good company.

Re-roof and new Velox roof window. Also new gutters fascia board down pipes in white plastic back and front. Roofers worked very hard and were very thorough. Very good at communicating with us. The new roof looks very fine and has clearly been produced very professionally. They were very thorough in cleaning up afterwards even to the extent of washing the top of the conservatory. The office manager and company director were also very good in their communicating . The quote was accepted in February and the work completed in August . Inspite of a period of rising prices the company kept to their quote.

Bingley Roofing Contractors Ltd were very efficient in giving quotes, dates and times of repair job. The work was carried out to a high standard in a very quick and efficient manner. The work was clearly explained with photos of the roof. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Information was clear and easy to follow.

Always pleasant and friendly and happy to explain everything. One minor call back for some moving wires fixed within a day of the request. Will definitely use them again if required.

Bingley roofing came out and fixed a roof tile that had come loose during a storm. I also asked them if they could inspect the rest of the roof while they were up there. They came out and fixed the tile on the date we had agreed and very quickly. As promised they surveyed the roof and sent me a few quotes for work required. I rang and asked about the bill for the slipped tile and was informed that because it only took a short amount of time that they would not be charging me for it (which was very nice of them) There was no pressure to take up the quoted work.

Bingley Roofing assessed the problem with my roof very thoroughly and in noticeably more detail than other traders who I asked for a quotation. The proposed work was specified in writing and the cost was competitive. Office staff, including the Director, communicated with me in writing and by phone, always with complete clarity and timeliness. Unavoidable delays to the planned schedule for the work were explained. Staff on site were efficient, courteous and tidy. We are very satisfied with the work completed and would highly recommend this trader.

Simon and his team were on time and did an excellent job with our ridge repairs. They were polite, honest and informative and went that little bit extra for us. I'm happy to recommend them as a roofing contractor

Both men worked well and did the work to our satisfaction. They cleared up afterward both on the roof and the area around the house. They were polite and left the property in a good state.

Have used them before and always had a great service from them. Replaced flashing around chimney and made good. Good communication from company about unavoidable delay to start date. Provided pictures of what needed and what was done.

We have used Bingley Roofing Contractors Ltd on roofing jobs large, (a new pitched roof on our garage to new gutters and small repairs. Every time we were given a firm price, punctual service and the results are of the highest order. They are good planners, ie when they give you a date they turn up on time and keep you informed if the plan may change, bearing in mind the pandemic, no easy task! The team are capable and clean up so that on completion they just leave you with a job well done. We do recommend to anyone who wants a proper job done by a proper established company. (We have had our share of poor tradesmen in the past so we know what we are talking about!)

Always reliable, knowledgeable and courteous approach to work carried out. BRC has completed two different jobs for me with clear quotes beforehand and work completed to a great standard.

Booked these guys to repair leaking roof from a personal recommendation and reasonable quote. Unfortunately, the lockdown was then put in place! There was good communication about how the co was handling it and as soon as restrictions allowed return to work I was offered a date for the work. They arrived when they said and did the job efficiently. Office staff and roofers were friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, I noticed a tiny leak after they had gone but they happily came back and sorted it within a week. Recommend thoroughly!

In my experience, Bingley Roofing communicate well and deliver what they say they will. They arrived when they said they would, completed the job and I'm very satisfied. It was a relatively minor job - securing and replacing some loose slates - but I'd certainly contact them again if I need to.

As one of the previous reviews stated we initially had a lack of interest or no interest at all regarding the job. We had a problem with leaking coping stones and had two or three people to fix but still continued to leak. Bingley Roofing have leaded the stones and also we asked to have our bay roof done at the same time. After the quote was received we had further leaks due to storm Kera and Bingley Roofing came out to investigate and give us an additional quote. Final invoice was the same as the quote but due to the rain and coronavirus date for completing the work was changed a couple of times, however the company did communicate each time. Unable to say if everything ok as it hasn't rained yet but we have every confidence in the work done.

Roofing is an in demand service and I'd had issues being ignored by previous contractors who obviously didn't need my custom and also didn't feel the need to respond to me. Bingley roofing contractors were great, they responded quickly organised an assessment and turned up when agreed, the quote was competitive and when I decided to accept the quote and arrange the work they were were great and kept in touch with me. They had a reasonable long waiting list but fortunately my work wasn't too urgent so I was happy with this, they operated a queue system where by approximate dates are give but due to the nature of the work, they don't guarantee dates but were great at keeping me informed. The wet winter delayed things then the start of the pandemic, but through it all they kept in touch. They have recently just completed the work. It looks great, and the tidied up obviously I have yet to experience winter to fully appreciate how well the work holds up, but so far very happy!

Remit to Bingley Roofing was to quote for all works required to fix damp/leaks on our roofs on our flat. Work started & completed Aug 2019. Leaks occurred again in one of bedrooms in Jan 2020. Roofers came out and said mortaring had not been carried out on part of roof even though this mortar had failed at time of inspection for quote. Office staff refused for work to be carried out under warranty as they claim we had ‘rejected’ this work in our original quote. Why would anyone reject work when the work needed doing and why did roofers not mention to ourselves whilst they were on site that they were not mortaring all stonework as expected? Office staff have no idea what works have been carried out by roofers as they have contradicted themselves in the many email conversations since Jan 2020. We have asked on a few occasions for photos of completed works to be supplied by BRC to dispel BRC claims that we rejected any part of a quote - still waiting since August for photos. Which? Trusted Traders cannot help in dispute as invoice total was more than £10,000 and also our flat is rented out so it makes it a commercial contract - both points BRC fail to mention in their important section in their quote. BRC advertise they are members of NFRC and Trust Mark. They are no longer members of either organisation (membership ended Jan 2020 & Mar 2020) neither of those can help in dispute with BRC. BRC will only complete work if we pay them an extra £2300 for the mortaring.

Office is organised with efficient staff. Arranged an inspection promptly and conveniently. Useful discussion and survey. Kept close to proposed timetable of work. Kept in loop. Work looks good (time will tell!). Tidied up nicely. Prices seem okay.

As always very quick to respond to request for assistance. Came and reviewed problem and dealt with there and then as only small job. Used this firm for many years and always been 100% happy with the service.
