I had high hopes for this company given the good reviews, responsiveness over emails and the high price they are charging. Booked in for them to come and do half a day's work - I organised my work so I would be working from home that day (not easy to do in my job). By 2pm the handyman had not come and so there was not enough time to finish the work on the day. I'm unsure why the job was booked in when the handyman did not have availability to complete it.

I engaged Bits and Bobs to do a small job for my niece who is profoundly deaf. Not only was the job well done, on time and to the quoted cost but both the office and the workman were so good at handling the communication problems. Courteous, efficient, punctual, what more can one say.

I requested this company to quote for my building work. They asked for list of work to be done together with photos. I provided the information they requested. After 4 days and that too on my reminding for a quotation they turn around and say "Unfortunately you are outside of our service area."

We hired 2 members of the Bits & Bobs team to assist us in building a trade stands at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. They arrived promptly, were friendly and work was carried out to a very high standard. Will be using them again next year, nothing was too much trouble!

I used Bits, Bobs and Odd Jobs for a range of different handyman jobs that needed doing during an office move and found them to be very reliable. I was very pleased with their service as they squeezed my job in at the last minute and done everything we had asked for. The tradesman that came down to do the job was very helpful and communicated everything with me whilst he was there. Would use these guys again if we need jobs done again!

They got back to me as soon as I had messaged, their worker went through everything with me and was done incredibly quickly. The jobs were all executed with care (I had a variety of things around the house for him to do - from screwing in floating shelfs to changing light switches) and I’m incredibly happy with the work.

When I needed a flat that I rent out redecorated I went to the Trusted Trader website and found three entries in my area. BBOJ provided the lowest quote and were able to start quickly, so I chose them. I was extremely pleased with my choice. The work was done to a high standard and within the specified time scale. The left the flat clean and tidy afterwards. They also came back without fuss for a bit of minor snagging to free up two sash windows. Due to covid all our dealings were conducted via email. It was a very straightforward process. Chris is simultaneously both professional and friendly. Subsequently BBOJ repaired some kitchen cupboard doors that were beginning to disintegrate at the edges. Chris came up with an innovative solution which has improved the look of the cupboards and granted them a further lease of life.

Excellent work and was able to fix/remedy everything I had from resealing shower, aligning floorboards, new front door lock, securing bannister and fixing kitchen sink tap. Very professional, easy to communicate with and delivered the work on-time and to the agreed upon price.

Bits & Bobs' skilled technicians have hung outdoor lights, fitted bannisters and installed a garden door. They've each worked within the time allotted and estimate quoted, and have been a pleasure to have around the house. They've been efficient, professional, tidy and fast. I'll be using them whenever any handyman jobs occurs again.

I had five jobs needed doing both inside and outside my house. Matheusz from Bits & Bobs turned up on time and completed all jobs beautifully . He was friendly and polite, with the attitude nothing was too much trouble

I've had so many terrible cowboy builders in the past so to now find such a wonderful, professional, polite company who come when they say they will and do exactly what I ask them to do is something I truly value. the workmanship was excellent. The lady in the office was incredibly helpful and did all she could to facilitate the best day and timing for me at short notice. Couldn't have been a better experience. I would highly anyone to use 'Bits Bobs and Odd Jobs'.
