Recently had a new combi boiler fitted. Obtained a satisfactory quote, alongside some good advice and had the boiler fitted a couple of weeks later. Installers were very efficient and friendly and just got on with the job. No long stops for tea breaks, in fact amazingly apart from 40 minutes lunch they just worked straight through. House was left clean and tidy and someone came back to cover some exposed pipework a couple of weeks later. A couple of radiators were not working correctly but this was quickly rectified. One slight issue was an extra £54 bill by having to call out the burglar alarm engineer to re-set the alarm after the installer had accidentally taken out a fuse when removing the old hot water tank. We did ask if Blackwells could cover this - as it was their fault, but heard nothing back. Other than this minor issue we were extremely happy with the work done and have no hesitation in recomending them.

Having recently moved to Darlington there were several issues needing to be attended to including a repair to the gas boiler and full service, replacement of two leaking radiator valves, leaking toilet soil pipe, etc. These were all dealt with promptly by a very pleasant engineer without any fuss. I was charged exactly what was quoted and am very happy with the work that was done.
