I needed full repairs to an offshot roof including new felt, batons and retiling. BLS guys arrived and set up access equipment. They quietly went about the work, producing a top quality job. The entire site was cleaned down before they left. Excellent work, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Concerned about the condition of our bungalow roof, we invited Brian of BLS to inspect it. He did so promptly and swiftly identified the areas needing remedial work. He provided us with reasoned advice as to the work to be carried out, supported by a quote for the cost of the work. Brian obviously knows his stuff and we had full confidence in his advice. He arranged for his team to start the work within a few days. They were excellent people, hard working and professional, keeping us fully informed throughout. The whole job was completed in two days, despite horrible conditions on the second day. I would use BLS again and have no hesitation in recommending them as roofing specialists.

The shingle roof on our garden room was leaking and we sought several quotes. Brian came up with the best solution - lightweight slates - rather than replacing shingles or just re-felting. His team arrived promptly, were very courteous, professional and tidy. The roof was stripped, waterproof membrane fitted and the slates (with ridge tiles on all four corners) were secured all within 36 hours of arrival. The area was left clean and tidy - you would not have known they had been there. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

During the purchase of our older property, the surveyor identified that the roof required some attention. We contacted Brian after finding his details online through a trade recommendation site, and he promptly arranged to inspect the roof in person. Following the inspection, Brian provided a clear and honest explanation of the work needed, along with a competitive and transparent quote. Once we completed the purchase, we arranged for the work to go ahead. From start to finish, Brian was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. On the day of the work, Alex, who managed the team, carried out a further thorough inspection before starting and kept us informed throughout. He also took the time to show us videos explaining the work that had been completed, which we found particularly reassuring. Alex and his team were friendly, hardworking, and respectful, completing the job efficiently and ensuring everything was left clean and tidy. They were asked to replace a cowl and repoint a very tall domestic chimney. Work carried out promptly on the appointed date. Scaffolding erected efficiently and work done as required. Tidied up properly afterwards, and work completed in one day.

Brian and BLS team replaced a loose slate and cemented loose ridge tiles into place. Excellent service from prompt response to my initial enquiry, photos taken by drone and quote for work to the work being carried out with before and after photos provided . Excellent communications throughout.

The initial visit and assessment were professional with Brian physically inspecting the roof, taking photos and providing recommendations. The quote was detailed and very competitive. Communications were clear and responsive. The job was scheduled, team arrived when expected worked really hard to get the job done in two days. All waste material was collected and photos taken as the job progressed and they regularly cleaned up after themselves. Top team and pleasure to do business with, will definitely consider them for any future roofing work.

Brian and his team did an excellent job assessing the problem with our roof and offering solutions to resolve them and improve the appearance and functionality. An area of membrane was replaced on one verge where a leak had developed and a dry verge system was fitted all around the property. The work went ahead inside the timeframe suggested, was completed quickly and to a high standard. The team completing the work were cheerful and hardworking getting the work done. Throughout the process, communication was good.

From first contact to completing the work, Brian was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He (and Alex who did the work) were happy to explain the details to me and show me why we had the leak in the first place. The quote for the work was reassuringly priced (ie not too high or too low as to make me question it) and having seen the standard of work completed, I am entirely happy that Brian provides excellent value for money. Plenty of rain later, the leak is most definitely fixed, and we have Brian's details stored for the next inevitable fix we need doing!

Cannot fault Brian and team. Communication was great from enquiry to job completion. All work was completed to the highest of standards (3 hipped ridges re-bedded, 1 chimney partially repointed with stepped flash installed and separate chimney capped) by a very friendly and professional team, and at a very competitive price.

Brian, Andy and team did a great job from quote to completion. They were always on time, pleasant, professional, highly skilled and efficient. The work carried out included the fixing of a breathable membrane under tiles above a leaking flat roof, re-laying the tiles and fixing a new capsheet over part of the garage roof. The work carried out was completed quickly and as per estimate in terms of both time and cost. I will certainly contact Brian in the future if I need any of the services that they offer.

The estimated price was fair for the amount of work needed. Brian not only re-felted the roof but also clad the front facias and gable end in a weather proof plastic. His team turned up exactly on time and were pleasant, polite and efficient. The standard of workmanship was very high.

Reviewed the problem with the roof. Explained exactly what was needed. Later that day we had a quote explaining exactly what was required with photos that had been taken, which I had also seen when viewed the roof. A date was arranged and the length of time it would take. The work was completed in the time stipulated and again photos taken throughout. All very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Brian responded almost immediately to my request on Sunday, 31 Aug. Arranged to visit the same day to carry out a quote. Brian hoped to start and complete the work within 3 weeks. Despite the quote being a little higher than others, I was pleased that I chose to go with BLS roofing specialist. Brian messaged on Wednesday, 3rd, to say his team could carry out the work on Thursday, 4th. The team was prompt, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They kept me informed throughout the day and completed the job the same day, ensuring that the property's surroundings were clean and all rubble was removed. Walked me around the completed work, explaining what had been done whilst ensuring that I was happy with the final result. Invoice supplied and paid the same day. Very professional company with a positive can-do attitude. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Refreshing to get such a rapid and reliable service in this day and age. Contacted BLS for a quote to rebuild my chimney as well as a few bricks below the damp course, Was told they could come out to quote that same day (which they did), told I would get the quote by the end of the day (which I did) and after accepting it, was told that they could start and finish the work the following week (which they did). Excellent, professional staff who were friendly, reliable and punctual. An excellent company that I would highly recommend.

After worrying for a long time about the state of the roof on our barn conversion, BLS inspected it and pointed out the repairs necessary. 3 of his team carried out the repairs to a very high standard over 3 days, they were professional with high standards and determined to make sure the roof was properly maintained. BLS then quoted us for gutter replacement and again were on site very quickly to carry out the work.
