I have used BLS a couple of times. Brian was very responsive and accessed the work quickly and arranged for the repair / new roof in a good timescale. Would recommend and use them again

I moved into an older house 6 years ago and am gradually improving it bit by bit. The roof needed a fair amount of work - replace the chimney stack flashing, some repointing and completely replacing the old ridge tiles. Contacted Brian on 4th July, he visited 5th July and provided quotation same day. First impressions were very favourable and he was knowledgeable professional and friendly. I agreed the quotation and his men arrived 12th July and spent two days carrying out the required work. His workers were all friendly, polite and hard working. All rubbish was collected and removed. I would happily recommend BLS to anybody else considering roofing companies for their properties.

A very prompt visit by Brian on 7th June in response, to our initial call followed by a cost estimate and an approximate date for starting the work (2 - 3 weeks). This was acceptable to us. Later that week Brian phoned to say work could begin on the morning of Monday 12th! By lunchtime the job had been completed and site cleared. Professional job and friendly staff.

They gave an estimate. They came replaced the roof, tidied up and went. Polite, prompt, tidy. Charged less than the estimate.

I contacted BLS on the 2/5/23 Brian agreed to come and assess the job, which he did the same day. Brian said he would get back to me, via e-mail, later the same day which he did. We agreed to the price and start day/time. Brian and his team arrived on the 4/5/23 at 07:30 and started work within 10 minutes. Brian and his team worked throughout the day without a break until the job was completed at about 18:30. The guys that were working were courteous, polite and cheerful. The work was completed by the guys tidying up after themselves and removing all the rubbish and equipment. If I had to give them a score, it would be 10/10. Excellent.

Brian came and assessed the work needed to repair the roof. He promptly provided a quote and quickly booked the job in. The repairs were carried out at the agreed time and everywhere was left tidy.

Brian came around to look at our problem within 24 hours and had the work completed a few days later. Good quality of work and good communication.

I would like to say thank you to Brian and his team. I own an older property and from time to time I have needed repairs doing to my roof. It has been particularly hard to get a roofer to come out for small, or even larger jobs, or sometimes for them to even respond, but Brian has been so good. From start to finish his communication with me was excellent, keeping me updated and was always willing to answer any questions I had. Brian was very quick to respond to my initial call, and if I needed to call him back and he wasn't available at the time, he called me back quickly when he was free. He was quick to come out to look at the job, and the work was completed in 2 weeks of my initial contact with him - on a Saturday too, which was fantastic! The two members of Brian's team who came to do the work were prompt, polite and hardworking. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and I was shown photographs of areas I couldn't see from the ground. They tidied up and left my property clean and tidy afterwards. Brian contacted me after the work to check I was satisfied - which I was. Work completed on agreed schedule and invoice was as quoted. Would recommend.

My 90 year old mother had water leaking through her lounge ceiling, and damp in two other places. Contacted 3 companies; Brian, of BLS Roofing, was first to respond and came to quote the next morning. He turned up at the stated time and assessed the job. The second company couldn't come to assess for a week, and the third never responded at all. Less than two weeks after we accepted the BLS quote they sent a team of 3 young men, who also turned up on time. They were courteous to Mum, worked hard as a team and did a great job. Mum's only complaint was that the lads let their teas go cold! I was sent photos of the work as it was being done, which clearly showed the desperate state the roof was in, and the good quality of the repairs as they progressed. Also replaced a Velux window, and put new membrane around it. As an extra they coated the lead flashing FOC, again with accompanying photos. This was very reassuring for me as Mum still lives independently, and I couldn't be there while the work was being done. Great communication. Very impressed, would use again. Highly recommended.

I am very grateful for Brian and his team coming out and fixing my roof. The tile in question was over a carport and somehow they got to it and repaired it really quickly. They even fixed the underfelt which had been damaged when the tile got damaged. They were quick and understood that I was a girl who did not understand tiles lol

High winds and heavy rain left us with a leaking roof, over a dormer window. I asked BLS if they could do an urgent quick fix repair. Brian got back to me saying he would move his work schedule and do a full repair next day. His roofers duly arrived next day completed an excellent job and cleared up completely. Thanks to John and Mark for an excellent job and Brian for making it possible. A faultless transaction.

We found a leak in our kitchen flat roof and emailed this company on a Sunday morning (new years day as it happened). Had a reply back from Brian the same day saying he would come and look in the week. Had another email later that day saying he could come and look the next day to quote. Next day being a bank holiday! Brian turned up when he said he would, emailed a quote back the same day and after we accepted it his guys came out on the Friday. Nice guys, did a great job and left it tidy. Will certainly use them again in future.

Very swift professional service. All done at quoted price. Job carried out by three tradespeople and only took two hours so the quoted price was steep for two hours work. Other than that they were very good.

This is the third time I have had BLS Roofing do work for me. Each time has been good work done quick, and for an affordable price. When I initially contacted them to get the most recent work done they were too busy to come immediately, but frequently contacted me to let me know they hadn't forgotten about me and gave me a time frame as to when they would be available.

We needed someone to come out to a leaking conservatory roof. Brian responded quickly, gave us some great options and completed the work to the time and quote provided. Some snagging was required and again, he and his team were responsive and helpful. Great customer service and good quality work.

I rang BLS after searching for a local roofing company not expecting to get anywhere going on other searches for trades! Brian answered his phone which was a really good start, came out and looked at what needed doing promptly and on time and followed up the same day with a quote! I was truly amazed! He then managed to get us fitted in really quickly and today the 3 guys arrived nice and early to start. The weather has been really awful but they still worked on the roof in all the rain and were soaked! Despite this they still kept cheerful. They left the area clean and tidy despite the amount of wet moss removed in the process...I would have no hesitation in asking them to do work again

Contacted for a quote, job viewed and scoped next day. Full explanation of what had caused problem and repair work required given. Roof felt had perished and been damaged by birds. Two days after giving the go ahead, the work was complete. The tradesmen carrying out the job kept us informed of progress throughout the work and supplied photos of damage found. Excellent communication at all times. Highly recommend

Having searched carefully for a local business to carry out work to our daughters property we found BLS roofing. Brian replied promptly and visited the property sending us a quote in a timely manner, unlike some we have approached. He also arranged the work to suit us and get us sorted asap. He was honest about the work required and didn’t opt to just replace the whole roof on the very large property, the work was sensitive to the age of the property. Brian also helped with getting scaffolding sorted so the work could start on time. The guys were excellent timekeepers, hardworking and courteous, all round nice guys couldn’t fault them. Inspections were made to make sure everything was going to plan. Brian was in contact all of the time making sure we were happy with everything. He also took the time to visit and speak with our daughter who is severely disabled asking her if everything was ok for her. Unfortunately the last day it poured but they carried on until very late to finish the job for us. Returning as promised to do some extra essential work. All round great business, great team. Would highly recommend BLS roofing and will certainly use them again in the future!

We have used BLS for roofing work twice last year and chose to employ them again to replace guttering and fascia boards on our historic home.They have shown great professionalism and we’re thrilled with the completed works.The final part could only be done once scaffolding had been dismantled in order to ‘line everything up properly’.As our home is so old absolutely no walls are vertical and BLS were prepared to line everything up to look perfect-spirit levels are not that helpful in our home so the need to ‘look right’ by eye is our first priority.

I contacted BLS Roofing Specialists with regards to a missing roof tile that needed replacing. I heard back from Brian the following day (a Sunday!) who gave me a price from the photos I provided. Brian came out the following day to repair the roof, and kindly replaced another tile elsewhere on the roof at no additional cost. I am very thankful to Brian for repairing my roof so quickly, and making it a hassle-free experience. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for repairs.

Our roofing job was completed within two weeks of me contacting Brian. The two roofers arrived on time, worked hard throughout the day and were courteous and helpful. They explained what they were doing throughout the day and I was really pleased with the quality of their workmanship. They were also extremely tidy and everything was cleared away and left immaculately tidy. I would have hesitation in recommending BLS Roofing and would certainly use them again if needed for any further work.
