We needed someone to come out to a leaking conservatory roof. Brian responded quickly, gave us some great options and completed the work to the time and quote provided. Some snagging was required and again, he and his team were responsive and helpful. Great customer service and good quality work.

I rang BLS after searching for a local roofing company not expecting to get anywhere going on other searches for trades! Brian answered his phone which was a really good start, came out and looked at what needed doing promptly and on time and followed up the same day with a quote! I was truly amazed! He then managed to get us fitted in really quickly and today the 3 guys arrived nice and early to start. The weather has been really awful but they still worked on the roof in all the rain and were soaked! Despite this they still kept cheerful. They left the area clean and tidy despite the amount of wet moss removed in the process...I would have no hesitation in asking them to do work again

Contacted for a quote, job viewed and scoped next day. Full explanation of what had caused problem and repair work required given. Roof felt had perished and been damaged by birds. Two days after giving the go ahead, the work was complete. The tradesmen carrying out the job kept us informed of progress throughout the work and supplied photos of damage found. Excellent communication at all times. Highly recommend

Having searched carefully for a local business to carry out work to our daughters property we found BLS roofing. Brian replied promptly and visited the property sending us a quote in a timely manner, unlike some we have approached. He also arranged the work to suit us and get us sorted asap. He was honest about the work required and didn’t opt to just replace the whole roof on the very large property, the work was sensitive to the age of the property. Brian also helped with getting scaffolding sorted so the work could start on time. The guys were excellent timekeepers, hardworking and courteous, all round nice guys couldn’t fault them. Inspections were made to make sure everything was going to plan. Brian was in contact all of the time making sure we were happy with everything. He also took the time to visit and speak with our daughter who is severely disabled asking her if everything was ok for her. Unfortunately the last day it poured but they carried on until very late to finish the job for us. Returning as promised to do some extra essential work. All round great business, great team. Would highly recommend BLS roofing and will certainly use them again in the future!

We have used BLS for roofing work twice last year and chose to employ them again to replace guttering and fascia boards on our historic home.They have shown great professionalism and we’re thrilled with the completed works.The final part could only be done once scaffolding had been dismantled in order to ‘line everything up properly’.As our home is so old absolutely no walls are vertical and BLS were prepared to line everything up to look perfect-spirit levels are not that helpful in our home so the need to ‘look right’ by eye is our first priority.

I contacted BLS Roofing Specialists with regards to a missing roof tile that needed replacing. I heard back from Brian the following day (a Sunday!) who gave me a price from the photos I provided. Brian came out the following day to repair the roof, and kindly replaced another tile elsewhere on the roof at no additional cost. I am very thankful to Brian for repairing my roof so quickly, and making it a hassle-free experience. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for repairs.

Our roofing job was completed within two weeks of me contacting Brian. The two roofers arrived on time, worked hard throughout the day and were courteous and helpful. They explained what they were doing throughout the day and I was really pleased with the quality of their workmanship. They were also extremely tidy and everything was cleared away and left immaculately tidy. I would have hesitation in recommending BLS Roofing and would certainly use them again if needed for any further work.

This is the second time I have used BLS. On both occasions, they were easy to to deal with from quote through to completion of work. On this occasion I needed some straightforward repair work done to my chimney. Work was carried out on time and very efficiently. Very pleased.

Upon completing the two main roof problems where various tiles were missing or had moved including replacing the underfelt and rotting wood, they then replaced a tile that was loose on another part of the roof entirely, that we were unaware of until pointed out after their own roof inspection. BLS were called to investigate a water ingress problem we had on a 3 storey building, they acted promptly and came back to me with the results of the inspection and photographs of the area concerned, along with a quote for the job. I accepted the quote and asked them to look at other areas on the roof while there. Promptly came back to me and discussed things and gave me an estimate of the costs involved in fixing it. I accepted the price and they completed the jobs same day. Sending me photographs of the finished jobs. Good coms. throughout. If the work has solved the problems, and I don't see why not, a good price and all done without scaffolding. Thanks guys.

This is the second time we’ve used this company for the restoration of our home . This time we’ve had a redundant chimney liner removed and another chimney reopened. The workforce has been knowledgeable and have completed their work in an efficient manner. We are proud to recommend them and would be pleased to call them again if we need any further works completed.

The work from this company was excellent from start to finish. Excellent communication from beginning to end. The work was carried out in a decent time after the quote. A full explanation of the work was given. The workmanship seems to be of a very high standard - it certainly looks good. They are hard workers and barely took a break all day. They cleared up very well at the end.

Brian read the surveyor's report about the roof and explained what work was necessary. He put my mind at rest about the state of the roof, which was a huge relief, and he showed me photos of the work that needed doing. I was expecting much more was necessary at a much bigger cost. They were very efficient on the day, explaining what they would be doing - pointing up the chimney, rectifying the issues with the cowls and pots, 4 air vents in the roof, supplying and fitting eave supports front and back and, replacing the fascia on the bay window. Brian sent me photos of the work done in answer to my queries - queries due to my ignorance rather than anything else. Excellent job all around.

Once we gave the go-ahead he kept us informed of when the work would start, and on the day all went well. There was a minor issue which was rectified within a very short time, all now A1 and we are very pleased.

Brian came to look at the job very promptly after my enquiry, and provided a quotation later that day. He then gave a timescale within which we could expect the jobs done. A couple of days before he messaged to see if it would be convenient to get the jobs done. His team replaced a leaking valley and performed several minor repairs to felt, flashing and guttering. The job was performed speedily and professionally and all waste was cleared away upon completion, such that you would not know they had been. Foreman made sure I was happy with work done before leaving and Brian phoned later to check I was happy with everything that had been done.
