After having trouble finding a reputable roofer in my area I rang BLS they responded really quickly. We had a leaking roof around the chimney stack they replaced the lead around the chimney and fixed some loose tiles, they were both quick and efficient, the quote we were given for the work we thought was a fair quote for the work they did and we were in contact with them by text throughout which was very reassuring, I would certainly recommend BSL and they would be my first choice if I had any more problems with my roof.

From the moment I called (which was after normal working hours!) to discuss my issue to the task itself, I was thoroughly impressed and informed on when they could fit me in (and it was very prompt), price (really fair and honest) and scheme of works. I am usually very cautious of companies I have not used before, however I was so impressed by their standard of work, work ethics and how customers are cared for, BLS Roofing Specialist Ltd will be my go to company for any future roof or gutter issue I may have without any doubt. Respectful, pleasant and great value. I am truly grateful for the work when other roofers and trades never called me back. Their customer service is second to none and it is so nice to be actually treated like a customer rather than an inconvenience. The flashing around the chimney was leaking and required replacing Brian responded quickly to our request , thoroughly assessed what was required, gave us a fair & honest quote which he stuck to. The team turned up promptly got straight on with the work they were polite, efficient and tidy. I would highly recommend BLS roofers to anyone.

We had a loose tile and having asked for recommendations on Facebook, were pointed in the direction of BLS Roofing. The team responded immediately to our request and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. We would recommend them every time.

We needed to replace the guttering on our 1930's bungalow and were unsure whether the wooden facias and soffits wouldn't need replacing as well. We wanted to keep them if possible. B.L.S. were the first company who replied to our request for a quote. We received a call from Brian who arranged to come that same day. He arrived promptly and discussed our requirements. After assessing the soffits and facias he offered several options, giving sound advice. He said that the soffits and facias were in good condition except for two areas which he explained could be replaced with new wood. He emailed us his quote within a couple of hours. Over the next few days we received quotes from a further half dozen companies, several gave similar assessments and quotations but we felt confidence in Brian's professional judgement and the estimate he gave. We asked if he would do the job and he came over to take accurate measurements and told us the timeframe for the work to be done, which would be in around a fortnight. In all telephone and email communications, he was friendly and was prompt with any replies. By mutual agreement, the work was carried out earlier due to the weather impacting another job. The two workmen arrived on time (even a few minutes early), were very pleasant and friendly, played with our dogs, worked quickly (only took 5 hours) and did an excellent job. Later Brian rang to check we were satisfied, telling us to contact him with any issues in future.

The job was a small one which involved reflaunching a chimney pot and repoint part of ridge on my bungalow. Brian called in to inspect the job and gave me a price on the spot. He then completed the job promptly and also did some additional pointing on the front valley at no extra cost. Brian was extremely helpful and courteous. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Extremely prompt response to the initial enquiry about my leaking roof. This was assessed quickly and a quote given. The work needed was to replace the breathable membrane and lead flashing around the chimney breast and supply and fit four ventilation tiles in the roof. Communication was very good throughout the process. The work was carried out in a timely manner. No mess left behind after the job and staff were friendly and polite. I can highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Work carried out: Installation of 4 chimney pots, caps and general roof inspection of a 3 storey listed building. From the initial quote too conducting the work, Brian was available for advice regarding any questions or queries that I had. Excellent communication detailing the schedule of work prior to the team arriving. On the day the roofers were pleasant and professional in their work. Despite challenging access over 3 stories the work was carried out as promised. Overall and excellent service.

Easy to set up review of guttering and chimney work which needed to be done. Brian provided helpful suggestions and several options for the work. Work carried out to a high standard by Brian and his team who were courteous and tidy. Would be happy to use again.

I contacted 16 roofers in the vicinity to diagnose why my sister's bungalow roof was leaking. Only 4 bothered to answer including BLS. Quotations to repair the valley in the roof varied widely in price and details and although BLS was not the cheapest they were able to do the work within a reasonable timescale. The work was professionally completed in less than a day by 2 friendly workers and no rubbish was left. Photos were taken "before" showing the damage and "after" the repair which I have no doubt will be good for many years.

B.L.S. team John and Ron arrived spot on time, assessed job and got straight to work. Job was completed with no fuss or mess and everywhere left clean and tidy. A friendly and smart team, obviously well versed in there trade, We would thoroughly recommend this company.

Brian assessed the problem and recommended some remedial work to the flat roof. Two men came as agreed. They were most polite and easy to talk to and they explained what they were doing. They were meticulous and clearly were very experienced in roof work. They got on with the work and were very tidy and cleared up at the end. Would recommend BLS and the men who did the work. Hopefully no more rain leaks(!). Brian called later in the evening to check I was happy. It's what I would call "old fashioned" service. But it goes a long way to gain more work and gives me, the customer, a lot of reassurance. Would I use BLS again or recommend BLS to other people? Definitely yes.

I literally just read through some of the reviews on this page . I did check out Brian’s reviews on a different site before contacting him. I have to say I agree with all the great comments. Ultra professional, fast, great communications. I requested a quote on Friday ,Saturday Brian came around , the quote was accepted and the work ( repairs to slate roof) was done today Thursday 20 th Aug 2020. It doesn’t get better. Hard workers, polite, friendly and trustworthy. Don't hesitate to book this company.

Spoke with Brian (15th July} after he worked on neighbour's summerhouse. He called, quickly surveyed the work necessary and replied with a pair of quotes the same day. The next day I agreed the work to be done (before August). After two weeks, Brian called and said the work could be done today (30 July) if timing suitable. His guys turned up on time, started straight away and took about 6-7 hours. The were courteous and careful to ensure any mess was kept to a minimum. Very satisfied with the quality of work and attitude of staff

Fascia/Soffits/Guttering. Brian fully understood what was needed. The guys turned up on the agreed day and despite it being one of the hottest days they were cheerful and pleasant. Very happy with the work as quoted. There were no problems but the aftercare is good should it be needed Certainly would recommend this company, excellent work.

Rang on Monday about 3 loose ridge tiles on roof. Came that afternoon to assess and said they would attend the next day which they did. Really good job, fixed all tiles and cleaned up after themselves. Invoice as quoted. What more could you want!

I approached one of Brian’s guys working on a neighbours property on Tues afternoon. I spoke to Brian directly that evening and explained the problem, with damp. He provided a quote, which was acceptable and advised the job would be done the next afternoon. It wasn’t a huge job, but he maintained personal contact. The job was completed as promised on Wednesday pm. I have no hesitation in recommending BLS Roofing.

When I contacted Brian he came to my home promptly to assess a roof leak and gave me a price for the work, promising the repair would be done shortly. He rang me a few days later and fixed a time for the job to be done. John came at the appointed time and quickly carried out the repair.

I had a few ridge tiles blow off my roof, so contacted Brian on the recommendation of a neighbour. He came out the same day to assess the damage and remove the loose tiles. That evening I had quotes to simply refix the loose tiles or remove and refix all of the ridge tiles with a modern system. There was no pressure to make any particular choice, but I chose to have them all done. On the day the work was done, the guys turned up on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Once done, they tidied up and you wouldn't know they'd been here. Highly recommended!

I have used Brian before - this is the 3rd time. I emailed with a leak problem on 10th Feb 2020 and got a response same day. On 11th Feb the problem had been assessed and was quoted. By 24th the job was completed and invoiced despite the weather when he must have been busy. Brian is fast and efficient and I can thoroughly recommend him.
